While he is not employed by the company he co-founded, he most certainly still has an ownership stake.

I've quit listening to Rush---because he became a shill for Bush. I tune in during significant events to monitor his propaganda. I've heard him trash Ron Paul and others--except raving about Romney. Thus, this explains why Limbaugh, although claiming he doesn't endorse any candidate during primaries...is clearly endorsing Romney with kind words, and moving pro-Romney callers to the front of the line--while he trashes others, including Ron Paul, claiming no one but Romney is conservative.
Limbaugh has become a shill for Romney.

Those who bash or ridicule Rop Paul
I believe that those who bash or ridicule Ron Paul have very dismal futures ahead. I only really learned about Ron Paul in very early January '08 and have since that time completely stopped watching Fox News. I was a loyal Fox News viewer for around 8 years, with Fox News on my TV several hours each day - sometimes even during the work day.
No more Fox News for me. I'm done with them, especially after realizing that they had lied to me for so many years.
I'm sure I am not the only person who feels this way and also not the only one who has cut an organization such as Fox News out of my life.
Limbaugh, ClearChannel and any other companies risk suffering the same fate from me and many others who are doing the same.

I don't watch fox and have stopped watching all the network news and I don't even go to the internet anymore. This is really the only place I visit.
I like the variety of people on this site. I like all the different links that people post in regards to many issues. There seems to be no 'group think' here ....only EVERYONES shared respect for the constitution...and that is something I wish all americans would agree on.

Rush isn't only on Clear Channel and Clear Channel doesn't "own" Rush. His company is independently owned and contracts with many different broadcasting companies. Here in Bozeman he's on GAP West. Rush was promoting Fred Thompson (yes...it's been claimed he's CFR too) and now that Fred's out and threatening to throw his support to McCain, Rush wants no part of it. Rush must have something...or you wackos wouldn't spend so much time going after him. Amazing that you would site mostly liberal biased websites.

I don't subscribe to the connection through Bain. However, Rush is a lapdog for the neocon Republicans. If he were not he would have no choice but to support Ron Paul. He is dismissive of Ron Paul supporters on his show and he always takes the position of Republican good Democrat bad. This is stupid and hurts good and conservative Democrats which I invite into Ron Pauls big tent.
