The "GROUP" around the President...
I have to fault Dr. Paul on this question. He had the OPPORTUNITY to explain to the public what this "GROUP" was, what they do, and who they are, and WHY Dr. Paul doesn't like them.....then, he could have asked the question.
WHY, oh why, didn't he do that? NOBODY in the audience had a clue what the heck he was talking about. I think I knew, but it was a CRYING SHAME he didn't explain it. ALL the other candidates took their 1 minute of fame to gab on about their question.
Dr. Paul must be feeling defeated, put down, and it's all getting to him finally. The fact he only got $2 million the last money bomb was, no doubt, deflating. I just don't know what to say.
The MSM was unkind to the other candidates, as well. I thought for sure they were going to blast Ron Paul on the "r" newsletter question, but I was surprised when they didn't.
Ummmmm....
If Dr. Paul had explained what the group was then McCain would have known... instead, the way Dr. Paul posed the question outed him as, well, an IDIOT. It was genius and perfectly timed coming on the heels of McCain's posturing as being so knowledgeable about finance.
That is the kind of stuff that sticks with the American public... even if they don't know the particulars, they are not stupid.
McCain looked like an absolute fool, cornered and exposed, spewing utter nonsense.
Crying shame? You're damn right it is that McCain is even allowed on the stage with Dr. Paul.

Well, I SURE hope you are right, but I don't know....it just seemed to me what was MORE important was to explain this to Americans, the urgency of the crisis, and how the "men behind the curtains" act like the Wizard of Oz, only their intentions are not good.
I just hope you are right. I am so sickened at these perverted "debates" which are not true debates at all. IF they really wanted to get RATINGS and get the public involved, they would quit being "control freaks", you know what I mean?
Wouldn't it have been much more fair to allow each candidate to respond to 2 questions an EQUAL amount of time..THEN, to throw out ONE subject at a time, and let them all go at each other---interrupting as much as they wanted, until the bell rang!
But, the MSM is reflective of the globalist elitists obsessive NEED for CONTROL over the masses, as exhibited by the polls they do ad nauseum, and how they exert MASSIVE control over these debates.
The CFR's fingerprints are all over these stupid debates. At least, their corporate TOPS-DOWN influence, through peer manipulation, and with Rupert Murdoch's help.....boy, it's hard not to believe in a conspiracy, isn't it? I mean when you consider that ALL networks really hurt Dr. Paul by either ATTACKING him, IGNORING him, RIDICULING him, or a combination thereof.
I just don't know how Dr. Paul has held up this long. It is extremely upsetting to watch them be so disrespectful of him...and even though they never asked him an "attack" question, he never had the respect of equal time.

I am in full agreement with you, Win4Paul. The audience who was most interested in that question last night are the same people who have been FREAKING OUT over the latest shake-up in the financial markets. THEY understand every nuance of the exchange between Dr. Paul and John McCain. But, this is the sort of thing that doesn't command major headlines...at least, not yet. This exchange WILL come back to haunt John McCain. He has no clue about finance...at all.

Pat Buchanan made some very ludicrous statements after the debate that absolutely prove Dr. Paul is right in the mix and that they are afraid of him. To say that Romney is the outsider with the stones to take on Hillary is the most assinine thing to ever come out of Pat's mouth but he was truthful about McCain not being the guy to do it. In fact McCain and the Ghoul were given bad marks in this debate with Romney cast as the new wonder boy. This schizo game of flavor of the day candidates is backfiring badly and making Ron look better by the hour.

My main impression of the MSNBC hosted GOP debate in Florida by can be summed up in one word:filibuster. All the candidates, except Ron Paul, were given extra questions and rebuttals. When they talked, they went on and on, running out the clock. Ron Paul was given nowhere near the same time or consideration as the other candidates.
But with what few moments had, he made them memorable. His most courageous moment brought tears to my eyes. In one session in the first half of the debate, the other candidates, wrapped metaphorically in the US flag, trumpeted their approval for the war in Iraq. Several of them in disdain referred to the "white flag waving" by the Democrats. The debate atmosphere became so laden in patriotic fever and war lust, that any contrary statement in response to the current consensus of the majority would be politically risky.
But Ron Paul stayed true to himself. Humbly, in response of the question,"Was the invasion of Iraq worth the blood and treasure?" He said no. His manner almost seemed mournful,as if he was the only one in the debate that saw the tragic folly of the Iraqi invasion and occupation. As he spoke, explaining the many documented and proven facts why the war was undertaken under false pretenses, this scripture came to my mind:

It takes courage to fight in a war. It takes more courage to stop one. And Ron Paul showed it in Boca Raton Florida tonight.

His answer to that question really showed the world who he is and the strength and fortitude of his character and soul. His honesty at all cost is what caught my attention from the first debate (Rudy exchange) and has been my inspiration ever since.

The truth will set you free. I had hoped, still do, by some miracle America wakes up to what we as a nation face, but the people won;t face up to the harsh reality of what this country faces in the very near future. The truth is not pretty, and America can't handle the truth!
Ron Paul is the most courageous politician I have ever seen or heard on the national landscape, and yet "they" (America) dismisses him, to our own self destruction.

Couldn't have said it better though I believe that we, Ron Paul supporters, are in the majority in this country and we are being blocked and censored at every turn.
There has been a problem with every single election since this has all started. Its been a fuster cluck from day one. There's been fraud, rule changes, unregistered voters, and voting blocks! (i.e. Louisiana). Have you ever seen another election like this? Its all aimed at stopping Ron Paul.
The others are so power hungry and so deeply entrenched in the CFR etc. that, to quote Romney, "[they] don't care about the voters." So, they just fix things so their chosen one is elected.
It's all so nauseating.
It may very well be time to.....
get your own house in order. Draw those that are near to you closer and prepare a plan how you and your loved ones will survive the coming Day of Reckoning. I have been a Ron Paul supporter for some time but now truly fear for the future of my children. I seems the whole country is asleep at the wheel while we race towards economic disaster. Stunning and completely overwhelming at the ingnorance of the situation at hand! Its like a bad dream, like being told you have terminal cancer when all seems fine with the world. The global economy of debt is unwinding, with catastrophic consequences and the headline story is "I can't imagine Bill Clinton in the White House with nothing to do." We are freaking doomed.

You don't know how right you are. The next five years ending after 2012 are going to be hell on earth at least that's the plan. That's why Ron can't become president - because the best laid plans would crumble into a pile of so much trash.
Ron knows what's coming.
The most important thing for people to do is get your house in order. What this means in a large way is, lose your addiction to materials goods and get used to a more humble existence. Just remember, you can't take it with you and the next five years will give you much opportunity to look into what that really means.
If there are issues you've harbored, whether anger, hatred, greed, control - get over them! Become what you were born to be - a pure selfless being.
It's easier to do so when you DECIDE to do it rather than having it forced on you from the outside.

During the second segment, the candidates themselves determined how much time each candidate spoke. The candidates had the opportunity to address one question to one other candidate on the stage. Romney asked Giuliani and then McCain asked Huckabee, who then received a follow up question from Tim Russert. Paul then asked McCain a question. Both Huckabee and Giuliani then asked Romney a question. McCain had an opportunity to also answer Giuliani's question since Giuliani made a subtle jab his way. Giuliani and McCain then each received a follow up question from Tim Russert.

P.S. good news!! Ron Paul won the Benton County Straw Poll here in Arkansas. It's the most Republican County in the state. Now of course only like 142 (i think) people voted, but he did get 50 something of that..so it's a start. Our primary is open we can vote however we want!! Yay!! good thing too since I'm Independent.

There is software that works
There is software that works on Mac and allows you to save any video. When you're on a page that has video, an icon indicator will "spin" letting you know that video can be saved. It's free and awesome!
I've been saving all my videos. Unfortunately my husband downloaded it for me so I don't know what it's called. I think it has to do with Google (since the indicator that spins looks just like the Google updater icon).

90 Minute hit piece
That was a 90 minute hit piece on every candidate on that stage except for Ron Paul. He got off easy, compared to the others. No one watches presidential debates, but the MSM will start attacking candidates that don't fit the establishment agenda, based on the answers they gave tonight. McCain looked like a fool, Romney looked like a politician, the Ghoul, looked like a ghoul, Huckabee looked like a Chuck Norris fan, and Ron Paul acted like a statesman and a true gentleman. I'm glad that RP didn't get some of those sh*tty questions like everyone else. The 3rd party question is getting old, though at this point, I wish he run as an (L) just to make sure none of those idiots won.

What the voice actually said was "RAISED TAXES". In other words, someone was informing Romney that Reagan raised taxes, in order for him not to look like a complete fool who had no idea what Tim Russert was talking about.
I think the voice may have been coming from an earpiece Romney was wearing. Weird stuff. Anyone know if that broke the debate rules/if any of the other candidates have people whispering into their ears too??
