This stuff is legit. If you are looking for more information I suggest picking up "Dark Alliance" by Gary Webb. Its the book that came out of his 1997 series investigating CIA drug running as part of Iran-Contra. Joesph Trento's "Prelude to Terror", which covers some of the history of parallel intelligence activities, helps put it into a larger context, making it worth while to read but he provides an incomplete picture.

Keep in mind that this isn't "conspiracy theory" in the pejorative sense. Webb won the Pulitzer Prize for his work, Trento is considered to be the second best mainstream author on intelligence agencies (Bamford is the best) and Ruppert, the guy that made the video linked to above, was a LAPD narcotics officer. There are over 50 credible whistle blowers that I know of who talk about, and present evidence for, CIA/DEA/Military drug running with money laundering helping boost the profits of many publicly traded companies. Much of this stuff is admitted to be true in Congressional and CIA reports, its just not an acceptable topic of conversation for the controlled press, just like our man and monetary policy.

I wouldn't call this a Ron Paul topic because I don't know of any time he has spoken about it (though I wouldn't be surprised if he has) but it is very close. The illegality of drugs boosts their prices and enables organizations like the CIA to obtain off the books funding for its most sinister projects. Ron Paul's position to end the drug war is the best option we have to ending this illicit source of funding (along with the other benefits it would have for non-violent criminals in prison and reducing gang violence).

To give you an idea of how long this has been going on, Skull and Bones was founded by William Russel with money he made during the Opium Wars between England and China. Also, George H W Bush's nickname is "Poppy" Bush. He got the nickname well before he became a grandfather.

I feel bad for Gary Webb. He wrote a multi-part series on this for the San Jose Mercury News detailing CIA cocaine trafficking and the Iran-Contra scandal. I believe Webb won awards for the series. The MSM (especially NYT and WP) roasted him to the point his own paper backed away from the story and printed a retraction and demoted Webb to their satellite office in Sacramento. He later resigned (forced out) and went to work for the Sacrament Bee ( I believe). But the MSM wasn't finished, they basically ruined his name to the point he had trouble finding work. He eventually lost his family and he ended up committing suicide (the Sac Bee reported--you can find it online still I believe--that he shot himself in the head--TWICE). But a few years before that happened he wrote an excellent book called Dark Alliance, which I highly recommend to anyone who wishes to understand the details of this. Later, the CIA IG report validated Webb's findings and even went further than Webb had gone. What a shame that we have to lose brave, honest reporters to the influence of the MSM. This is very real. The War on Drugs is a sham and creates a black market which hikes prices up for those w/ the freedom to sell.

Earlier this year I read the book "Crossing the Rubicon". Excellent, if long and detailed read dealing with not only this, but big oil, our gov't, etc. etc. Fascinating! I highly recommend ...

one of my relatives and a few other high ranking army officials died mysterious deaths after the CIA was about to be exposed for their drug dealing that funded the government organization now known as FEMA, drug laundering was also used to fund anti-communist activities abroad. They were in the info loop. This was of course when G. Bush Sr. was in charge of the CIA.

Imagine this, im afraid to get into specific details and names (the information is online) about the situation from what I read. Why? Because i'm afraid of being tracked or a gov't harrassing me.

The government should be afraid of the people not the other way around.

CIA, NWO, CFR, OIL, FED, Dope dealing, money laundering and a Ron Paul cameo. That is the most complete potrait of why we need Dr Paul to be the president. This should be posted on every Obama and Huckabee forum. ****
