These are basically comments I made earlier (in part) in this thread. Yet, here's something else -- The fact that this guy supports the war and he's a known POW -- I just can't seem to connect the two. If anything you'd think war would be the last thing this guy was looking to support. 100 years of it? And 5 more brave American soldiers reported killed yesterday.

Granted, this might easily turn into another SWIFT BOAT attack (or maybe equal a deserter's record -- speaking of GWB and his military record that was shown but ignored by the media) // that wouldn't be good. At the same time selling out one's country can't be ignored.

Perhaps this is what motivates MCCAIN to continue to support the war in Afghanistan and Iraq (a rational person understands we have no business being involved in the same // but yet the next 100 years, he says) // Could it be he's turned the same into a twisted 'second chance' to prove himself for his lack of real courage as a POW? // if so // sadly at the sacrifice of more American lives (and the other side as well) which continues to show his 'mis-placed' bravery because it's not HIM doing the fighting and dying -- it's our kids (The American People).

This guy spent 5+years as a POW and had the chance to come home earlier and he opted to stay untill ALL of the other POW's were released. He had some very serious injuries from being tortured. Look at the guys arm movements and his still swollen jaw. These rumors flying around that JM was a traitor will blow up in all of our faces!

At one time I was a BIG McCain guy, glad to see him in politics, but he pissed all over his war record by turning into a typical Neo-con. That does not take away that he was a POW though. He spent 5+ years over there and could have come home early and he opted to stay untill all of his camp unit was released.

I'm 110% Ron Paul, always will be. I am telling you guys though, this aint good bashing on JM's war record. This will turn many Vets and patriotic Americans VEHEMENTLY against us and Ron Paul.

I'm a Veteran myself (disabled) and as much as I love RP and dislike McCain, this kinda pisses me off too. Unless you've been in combat or even in the military, you cannot fully understand this reasoning, but I will tell you, it is best left alone in this arena.

This is where he gets his strength from! Folks think that he's a "real" hero. I doubt it myself. Vietnam was "ugly ugly ugly", of course, all wars are! Vietnam had "ugliness not associated with any other wars"! Lies lies lies, deceit deceit deceit, within our government and within the military itself!

I wrote him a letter when all of the "amnesty" stuff was goin' on and asked him when did he become a traitor?

I seriously suspect now that he was one all along, at least after his capture!

He should not have been a pilot but his daddy was an Admiral so he got the go-go sign from up-on-high!

As I have observed the first primaries and caucuses it has come to me very clear that most of the people vote based on nothing

Examples:
- 95% of Mormons voted for Romney in Nevada
- Born-again Christians carried Huckster in Iowa and SC
- Romney won Michigan on the notion that his dad was the governor
- Black vote carried Obama in SC
- Women carried Hillary in NH

McCain is a disgusting in-duh-vidual but for some reason people want him to lead the country - go figure.

Let's leave McCain service out of this. There is plenty of material to attack him on without mentioning his war record.

Let me clarify that subject line (question) of mine first of all, I have had no intention of VOTING for MCCAIN in this election, never even entered my thoughts -- RON PAUL has been and continues to be my only choice.

But that said, I honestly had no idea this MCCAIN POW (traitor) stuff was an issue not even when I did once upon a time get caught up in all the hype about him being a POW when he was running against GWB for POTUS back in 2000 -- I sent the guy $$ in support of him. I was all for the guy, related to him and his military experiences, rooted for him, that kind of thing. I'm telling you this now, I suppose just to show what an absolute idiot I truly am not to have seen this -- this has caught me entirely by surprise here. Damn.

Well, like I said this needs to be known by everyone -- if true. I know I keep saying that but I found myself saying the same things as regards all the lies about 9/11 (which I believe truly was an inside job as I've said elsewhere time and time again -- it took me years to come to that realization).

I knew MCCAIN was wrong, that he was lying to all of us back when running for POTUS against GWB (but didn't understand why at the time but now I think I do) when he said that GWB was associated with oil gangsters that supported him and then the very next day dropped out of the race and was hugging and giving GWB all his support. I about fell off my chair when that happened. I was eating a piece of pizza and nearly choked on it hearing and seeing that. It's finally all starting to make better sense now.

Damn! This needs to get out outside of this RON PAUL Forum so it doesn't appear we are spreading gossip and false claims, etc. I can see there is an effort ongoing thanks to those videos you provided -- but damn what the hell is going on in our country to ignore something like this for all these years. And I thought 9/11 TRUTH was the ultimate avoidance.

The fact that he has done everything in his power to thwart any real investigation by our own government, of the fate of our MIAs, and how friendly he is to the government of Viet Nam, says it all. I heard that he has had his military records classified. How could we consider voting for a politician who uses classification ro conceal his records? What is he hiding?

The same goes for the traitors who are assisting him in his coverup. We need transparency in government. We always keed to know what our politicians are up to. We need to know what deals they are making with other governments,

Why didn't Tim Russert ask about this last night?

If this is true -- Something needs to be done to fully make this widely available to the public.

If this is true -- How can anyone question that 9/11 wasn't an inside job orchestrated and approved (allowed, etc) by insiders within our own government? If this is true this needs to be on every TV screen, every newspaper, everywhere AND this man should not be a US Senator nor should he be allowed to be President of the United States of America. If this is true.

How in hell has this not been made into one of the biggest stories of our time? A US Senator, a traitor? How in the sam hell can this be and not be a longtime major news event. How can anyone that is a traitor to this country be allowed to be a Senator, how can anyone that is a traitor to this land be allowed to be President? How?

Listen, please, I don't know if this is true or not -- but if it is: I want it to be known, very well known.

And some of you out there actually question the possibility of 9/11 and a rogue element operating from within our government. This needs further investigating.

War monger and opportunist yes.. traitor? I'll go along with war monger, opportunist, even political hack, but traitor? I do not know what any of us would do to survive for 7 years in a POW camp. I am sure it was hell on earth. There are plenty of other shortcomings McCain has, but I oppose calling him a traitor. I certainly would not volunteer for any "private time" with a Viet Cong , KGB trained, interrogator.
