Unbelievable! Announcing that Ron Paul won the text poll last night (42% to Romney's 40%), this morning MSNBC is asking you to verify the poll by texting in who you believe won the poll... These people are SO slick...

It was the other way around
Last night at the end of the post debate special, they had Romney as the winner and Paul in second. So this post is incorrect. Just a way to make more money I suppose.

I use different Phones
I voted on one of the debates on fox with my husbands cell phone, the next one they had I used my moms phone because they wouldnt let me vote with my husbands phone for some reason, kindalike it was denied. I still have my phone that I havent voted with. I used moms last night and the next one I will try hers again and see what happens.

And instantly rec'd a message saying, "You can only vote in the poll one time" (which I did, last night). So how is this going to change the results?
It's a TRAP for RP supporters! STOP THE VOTING!
From every thng I read on this post, it's meant to be some sort of a trap. They are counting all those who voted once and tried to vote again for RP and will say that it happened ALL last night.

There is nothing wrong
with voting and then trying to vote a second time to confirm that this vote CANNOT be spammed by people makin multiple votes from the same phone. If the vote could be spammed, then we should spam it as other candidates supporters will also do. If it could be spammed it would truely be a meaningless poll, I'm thankful that they only allow one vote. But this extension of the poll is a bit strange. They are basically openly stating that "Hey, we really don't like the results we got so we're going to allow more votes here so that hopefully it will change".

I didn't vote last night... but did just now.
The confirmation screen/auto reply does say "you can only vote once" but that is not saying your vote didn't count, just advising you that a 2nd attempt will be fruitless.
If this is a new poll, essentially, you should be allowed one vote even if you did vote in the original poll last night.

It should be one vote PER poll... last night and today would represent two different polls if they started with a clean slate today to "verify" last nights.
Otherwise, it is complete BS and clearly set up to disallow Dr. Paul's support to even be registered.
Did they or did they not wipe the slate clean and start a "new" poll today?
If so, to exclude last nights respondents invalidates it from the get go.

It's time for the Ron Paul campaign to wake up and get real!
Their are so many documented attempt to slight Ron Paul, it has become a common. The campaign needs to grow an ugly head, and start using this a campaign stategy. Target the press as the bad guy they are. People really like what Ron Paul has to say, but the press doesn't let him say it much, and then they tell everyone that the "polls" say he has no chance. The campaign needs to move to a position of trying to shake the grip the media has on people.
