I am not afraid of Islamofacist terrorists...

I AM afraid of homegrown terrorists like George Bush and Dick Cheney who are systematically stripping us of our civil liberties.

Islamic terrorists are little more than strawmen used by this administration to further their goals of forcing US submission to world government. The day is not far off when the executive orders signed by this and previous presidents will be utilized to create a dictorship and silence and even imprison those who openly disagree with those in power.

I know most of you on this board are already aware of this (unless you're a newbie Paulite). Unfortunately, we're aware that our neighbors and countrymen are largely ignorant of this. While we work hard in promoting Dr. Paul and his message of freedom, we need to be sure and explain why this message is so timely.

God help us. Ignorance may be bliss, but not for long.

I'm only afraid of them...

...because we trained them. And you KNOW how good the CIA is at overthrowing governments and causing terror and discontent within a populace. Heck, we have their records to tell us how good they are at it!

I really hate that term!

I can't believe we still hear the term "Islamofascist" all over the radio and even from a couple of the candidates. Fascism is a financial authoritarianism/not a theocratic dictatorship - Fascism is about corporations essentially running government. What corporations want to run the Arab world and through terrorism no less??

OH - Sorry, just answered my own question: Halliburton, Goldman-Sacs, Lockhead/Martin, etc.....

I agree

And shouldn't there be a couple hyphens there, like islam-o-fascist, or is that not scary enough?

I say let them come

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent" Thomas Jefferson

Hold on there buddy!

Listen, I've seen Al Quida's advanced caves and ultra-high tech monkey bars on tv with my own two eyes. Their suicide fighters displayed tremendous mastery of the monkey bars.

And oh yeah, they were doing door-to-door swat exercises too. If a few dozen of them ever got into one of our major cities in the US there is no telling how many houses they could search before we could take them out with cruise missiles.

Oh yeah, they make small bombs too. Romney said they form a new "super power". I agree with Romney. I hope he will protect us even if it costs trillions.

Yes--and with their 200 or so members

they could easily invade and hold the 3.5 million square miles and the 300 million citizens of the United States--with the possible exception of the 12 million illegals, who are very good at avoiding capture.

Yes, there's no doubt, as McRomlianabee said last night, Al Queda is a Super Power bent on world domination.

Islamofacists

I'm getting a little annoyed by comments like these that totally downplay the threat caused by radical Islam. Yes, the threat is being overblown; but until we get totally out of Middle Eastern politics (please review the Sykes-Picot agreement, and other outrages by the Western powers against the Arab world), there is still a danger of continued blowback. As Dr. Paul has said, even if we withdraw tomorrow, the threat will continue. We've given the Arab radicals a lot of ammo (both literally and figuratively) and for the short term anyway, we will have to remain vigilant. To do so otherwise is to put your head in the sand (sorry for the pun).

you can run and hide under a

you can run and hide under a rock all day, anyone who buys into this is truely unpatriotic and would not stand up to fight for our country inside its borders. To spread the fear in any way, saying that people need to fear them is pathetic. Where are all the Republicans that believe we have the second amendment for a reason? Where are they hiding under a rock?

You afraid of nukes? Nuclear programs around the world will go underground in the future, if we have one, I live around 2,000 nukes atm, I am not afraid of nukes. We here in my state will sure be the first to die, we are not afraid, it is our own country that puts us in this place, not others.

People need to get some balls and grow up to what the world has become and why it has become the way it is.

You have nothing to fear but your fear itself!!!

What's funny...

...is if this were the Cold War and the "Terrorists" were fighting against the Russians, we would happily refer to them as tough "guerilla fighters." Yet, when they fight against our oppression, they're terrorists.

I never said they were not a threat...

I simply said that I am not afraid of them.

They have no power to take my freedom from me. Bush and Cheney do and have. These men and their lackeys should be feared much more than any terrorist.

Islamofascists

I understand, and you're right.
