Okay, what's great about those ads?
1) Individual issue ads, useful for targetting various states, regions or media channels (e.g. think the war on drugs ad would go over well on the music TV channels?)
2) Humour, humour, humour. We get the serious points, but there was sarcasm and irony in there.
The style could be improved on, which is just technology available now and some new themes added...inflation, the war, etc.
I just thought these were clever in dealing with tough problems but often leaving me laughing.
