See, we are making the world safe for democracy everywhere except at home. We are neither safe (from our gov't) nor are our elections democratic. Pathetic.
Actually Iran sounds like where this country is headed as far as our political process. Iran has things locked down.
I'd bet the GOP and Dems are looking into how they do it and will soon see an Iran and US cooperation. We give Iran money or weapons and they sell us the secrets on how to rig elections more effectively. lol.
Wonder if Ron Paul will bring the problem in Iran to someone in the media without mentioning his own situation. That would put a sting on the MSM.
Another McNut moment. LOL

Iran critical of US election process
Thu Jan 24, 9:56 AM ET
TEHRAN (IPS) - The Iranian authorities on Thursday criticized Washington's practice of vetting candidates, saying that American voters should be able to "choose the candidates they want" in November 08 presidential elections.
"We would hope that any elections they have are free and fair and allow the people of America to choose the candidates they want," Iran President Ahmadinejad told IPS.
His comments came after the state news agency FOX announced that the country's globalist vetting bodies had banned nearly one in three potential candidates in the elections, specifying their political affiliation as mostly republican.
But a spokesman for the Ron Paul Republicans that is inspired by former President Thomas Jefferson, said Wednesday that more than 50 percent of the group's candidates had been rejected.
In 2004, state mainstream media banned more than 2,000 out of 8,172 registered, many of them reformists, leading that way for the victory of the globalists.

Yeah, it's bad when the government of Iran limits the choices in political candidates, but it's ok when the Council on Foreign Relations controlled media do the same thing here.
I believe it's called the pot calling the kettle black.
What Bush Administration flack job hasn't Gordon Johndroe filled?? Wash Post reports that Johndroe (left) is replacing Frederick Jones as chief spokesman for the National Security Council. Jones, a career Foreign Service officer, has been in the gig for 3 1/2 years and will now return to the State Department.
Johndroe is currently director of strategic communications and planning at the State Department, but was previously spokesguy for FLOTUS and DHS. I hear that after the NSC he's going to become the spokesman over at the Bureau of Printing and Engraving -- just cuz.

If that isnt the Pot calling the Kettle black like you said I dont know what is!!!
Just saw Tim Russert say that they are estimating he has thrown in over 40MM of his own money into his campaign and will probably throw in another 10 to 20MM - I mean, WHATS ANOTHER 10MM dollars right folks?
He said that if Romney does that he is effectively buying himself the election.
I swear CANDIDATES should NOT be allowed to put their own wealth into their campaign!

Last I checked it said nothing about campaign contributions. We should ALL be able to put as much money as we want into campaigns, not just the candidate. Then rich guys like Romney wouldn't have the advantage.
Today I sent out 30 postage paid Business Replies from Newsweek, Time and US News with only RP 2008 written on them wiping out all profits from the Mags. that have been ignoring Ron Paul, lets make them pay folks when they receive bags of bills in their mail rooms, they are charged by the Postal Service for each postcard delivered to them. Lets bring the Old Media to their knees, we can do it!!!

We must get free, open elections here.
RP must make this a promise when he is Pres.
Chavez in Venezuela is head of state and had a country wide vote to get more power. He is hugely popular with the poor. They voted and OOPs, he lost the vote. Bet Bush wouldn't!

However, my point was that the vote was counted.
You know we get most of our oil from Ven.
So why do we freak them instead of luv them.
Castro supplies all the doctors and training.
Why not us?
We spend more on defense than the whole world combined.
Just a fraction of that could have built some schools and hospitals overseas and we would have been the most loved in the world.
The answer is clear.
Our industrial military complex don't make money.
They are the traitors!
And we pay and pay and pay and pay and can't take care of our kids.
We need a million man march to Washington and each bring our hunting rifle.
Now how many police would stand between us and the government.
I'm guessing it's not illegal to have a gun out in the open, not requiring a concealed licence? What is the law? Are you just allowed to have it at home. I don't see that in the constitution. My senior friends say they used to take a rifle to school and shoot squirrels on the way home. It wasn't wrong then why is it now? They went through WW1 and WW2. They didn't need the laws we have now because of a guy who lives in a cave and we must be soooooooooooo afraid of.
Go figure!!!!!!!!!
