Why every American should see THIS Movie

On Friday night RAMBO opened in theaters. My son wanted to see it, and so we went.

Very soon after the movie started, the audience was presented with the horrors of WAR.

Imagine every horrible act you can think of perpetrated against a child, woman and man, and it was up on that screen. There was a scene when a villiage was attacked, the people mutilated, blown up, and shot, which was so horrific I burst into tears.

This is WAR.

When we came out of the movie, I told my son that I wanted him to remember those images, because thats what War looks like. I think we as Americans (and our current crop of Republican candidates except Dr. Paul) think that Iraq is something other than what it really is. Over 37,000 innocent Iraqie citizens including woman and children have been KILLED over there. Blown up, shot, ect. We've lost almost 5,000 soldiers.

We need to get out of there, and do what is right. Only Dr. Paul has been brave enough to stand up and say this is wrong, and we need to come home.

I think if more people were reminded of the atrocity of WAR, they may have a different viewpoint, and wouldnt stand behind a War Monger like McCain who keeps saying that our troops want us to LET US WIN -

Like Dr. Paul said "How many more lives are we willing to lose in order to save face, thats all we are doing is saving face.

God Help Us.

Here are war and death movies neither Stallone nor McCain profit

The Secret Government…

From the Wilderness -- The CIA Connection
http://video.search.yahoo...

Makes me want to

move to Warsaw!

Rent the movie "Downfall"

on DVD. About Hitler. One of the best movies about war ever. Not boring. And then you won't have to support Stallone, a McCain supporter.

One rather large correction

There has been over 560,000 children killed in Iraq. This is the accurate number of child deaths in Iraq. A total of 1.1 million Iraq's people that mean no harm to us prior to the invasion have been killed. In fact when the government lied to us and had us all foaming at the mouth on the night of SHock and Awe 75% of the deaths that night were kids. They call them smart bombs.

Thanks

For posting that. I needed those numbers to get through to some hard headed people in my family who still think we are waging a war solely against TERRORISTS.

Hey dad, can I ask you....

...who does the star, Sylvester Stallone, endorse for President? Really? How does that make sense dad if what you're telling me about war is true? Will you help me move to Canada when Stallone's candidate re institutes the draft for his "100 years" in Iraq? Maybe next week dad we can go see the Chuck Norris marathon at the discount theater complex.

McCain

Stallone=McCain

I had the same exact thought

I can not justify spending my hard earned dollars to pad the pockets of a star that doesn't get it and supports the biggest War monger of the group - no thanks, you want to show your kid a war movie - there are plenty of others that are very authentic and less sensationalized.

I

I did think of that after the fact. I know now that Stallone endorsed McCain. However, what is happening in Burma to the innocents is still a message that I am glad I let my son see. All too often, the lives of the innocent civilians that are lost are forgotten amist the war mongering.

I do not want my son drafted into a 100 year war either, and taking him wasnt meant to reward Stallone, but after it was over it reminded me of how horrible war is. Thats the point I was trying to make.

Thanks for this post, the

Thanks for this post, the Warsaw link from Maria and support like Zbigniew's. I shed tears for those brave Poles and see first hand how "government" is NOT a solution. Thanks for your support Poland! and the world. We need them. Don't abandon us like our FDR did to your people.

Iraqi deaths

The number of Iraqi war deaths is estimated to be well over 1 million. See
http://tinyurl.com/2sj7o3

(these do not include the number of nearly 4000 USA soldiers nor the deaths of USA soldiers who passed away after arriving home)

11:30:39 am, Categories: Net-News, 136 words
Iraqi Death Estimate 1,165,204 [Petition]

The number is shocking and sobering. It is at least 10 times greater than most estimates cited in the US media, yet it is based on a scientific study of violent Iraqi deaths caused by the U.S.-led invasion of March 2003. That study, published in prestigious medical journal The Lancet, estimated that over 600,000 Iraqis had been killed as a result of the invasion as of July 2006. Iraqis have continued to be killed since then. The graphic above provides a rough daily update of this number based on a rate of increase derived from the Iraq Body Count. (See the complete explanation.) The estimate that over a million Iraqis have died received independent confirmation from a prestigious British polling agency in September 2007. Opinion Research Business estimated that 1.2 million Iraqis have been killed violently since the US invasion.

By the way,

The government counts Iraq troop deaths the same way they figure the inflation rate - very deceptively. You have to be shot AND die on the battlefield to be counted.

Is that crazy or what !??

It's estimated that the true number of Iraq troop deaths is in the tens of thousands. (Numbers more reminiscent of Vietnam.)

Thanks

For the Video on what happened in Warsaw!!

Everyone should watch that too. Those poor people. My God. Human depravity seems to know no bounds.

that's why some Poles can see what's going on in USA...

...while majority of Americans can not see it.
I'm from Poland, watching RP Revolution since November. Even donated to grannywarriors recount. I try to canvass equeintances in USA, but it goes hard (i.e. "no more Republicans from Texas", etc) but I don't give up.

Living few thousand miles away, its easer to find out, how USA is accelerating to its collapse. Dollar is worth about 40% less than it was 2 years ago, comparing to our currency. Genocide in Iraq makes no sense. Bin Laden is dead for months (watch Benazir Bhutto video on YouTube).

I am afraid american people, being spoiled by wealth, newer cars, bigger consumption, expanding credit card limits etc. became lazy.
Too lazy to fight for freedom.

Having monthly income around 500$, I donated 40$ to Grannies. Whats your effort, to fight for freedom your children may never taste???

Very True

Americans are without a doubt spoiled, and lazy - Always having freedom, (or the illusion of it) ...

I dont blame Americans...

Look what is happening in Poland.
We could have Warsaw Rising, Solidarity and so many more heroic episodes in history. And what now?
We cant resist EU bureaucracy It is sad.
We must understand how powerful THEY are (MSM etc...)

PS. Can I donate to granny or other projects? Im not USA citizen.

Poland was not "Land of the Free"

so collapse of USA seems to be more incredible.
And our MSM are terrible, but telling the truth- not so cruel. Here something like NH fraud or Luisiana "shift" would not take place.
You can donate to grannywarriors having paypal (shame :( ) account- credit card needed, or debt card in BZWBK Bank- account in $ is free and you get debt card working with online payments.

Cheers ;)

my fellow Poles

Just finished watching the posted video on the Warsaw Uprising, an event I'd never heard of living here in the states. I must admit that I cried for their bravery and I've never been prouder of history. The men of my country (the US revolutionaries) and the men of my blood (the Armia Krajowa) fought to the bitter end for their freedoms. In the face of a totalitarian takeover of my country, I can do no less. Watching my rights disappear, how can I not fight. With our cause just, how can we not win?

We will fight. We will be free.

This is such a good reminder

Because everyone thinks that it can never happen to us.

Its closer to a million dead

Its closer to a million dead Iraqis and its also polluted with depleted uranium which will be radioactive for 25 million years at least.

I've heard of that

What does that mean? Are our soldiers exposed?

I wasnt sure of how many Iraqies were dead now, I saw the 37,000 number, but 1,000,000 - It breaks my heart ...

Depleted Uranium (DU)

Do a scroogle search for:

Leuren Moret
Dr. Doug Rokke
depleted uranium
half-life of depleted uranium
how 'depleted' is depleted uranium
impossibility of cleaning-up DU residue
exposure risk to DU in-theater
global wind patterns
increased global occurrence of diabetes

The populace of Hawaii have awakened to the horrors of 'depleted uranium' and they are demanding it no longer be used on artillery ranges. Dr. Rokke wrote the Army manual on depleted uranium munitions from handling to clean-up. He ought to know about this stuff. Leuren Moret is a well-researched scientist with experience in Lawrence-Livermore Labs, amongst other postings. Please inform yourself about this extremely important topic.

why you should be a precinct leader and donate max
