Ron Paul in Augusta, Maine tomorrow @ 11:30, what should I tell him if I meet him?

Could you just ask his opinion on whether, as some economists reckon, that the economic slide will likely worsen during the summer-onwards?
(The reason I ask, Soulmantim, is because I hope the crap will hit the fan so to speak, in time for more people to awaken to Dr Pauls' message on the economy and saving money by less Govt', less war footings, etc -in time to push for Him for /September/November. if he is going to be on CNN after the debate before going to his Rally. It would be really good to see him after the debate when they talk to the candidates.

I think you need to have a letter ready to hand him. Get someone to take your picture with him. My son has one and it is our pride and joy.

If it were me, I'd simply say thank you.

We all owe him a debt of gratitude for curing our apathy and giving us a chance to take our country back.

So, don't give him any advice, don't bore him with drivel about the DP.

Dr. Paul's standard speech will likely not leave any 'questions' for you to ask unless you have not been to the campaign web site. He covers the material well and has the voting record in Congress to back it up. He is my congressman, of which I am very proud.

You will meet the most interesting and honest patriot that this country has seen since the days of Thomas Jefferson and the others. Judge Napolitiano of Faux Noise characterizes him as a "living founding father". I think that is why the MSM, the "party", the other candidates and the "men behind the curtain" fear him and seek to marginalize him so. He is LEAGUES ahead of them in intellect and Constitutional knowledge.

He will likely stay around to sign autographs and talk 'till all have had their chance........you are in for a treat.

Keep pushing McCain he is ready to break. Ask Romney how much of his own money he has put into his campaign. Ask the rest of them why if they support the troops, why does he (ron paul) get more donation from troops.

I would ask him to:

1. Restructure his campaign leadership with people who know how to win, and who have won in the past. None of the current leadership has ever won a presidential primary.

2. After Feb 5th -- if he has lost the Rep Nom -- Run 4th party (Mike Bloomberg is the third party candidate).

There is much more, but everything centers around these two points.

If I could talk to Ron Paul, I would tell him I'm concerned about his lack of updated information in regards to some aspects of world affairs. I am an international news editor who is working 18 hours a day to make the truth available to time-pressed American news consumers. Please tell him I am very worried about him. He needs to surround himself with people who are very up to date on international affairs, reading newspapers from around the world, not only relying on FOX and ABC if you know what I mean. I would advise him to check out my yahoo group called "World View News Service" (go to egroups.com and search for it)

and all will be fine. I hope to do the same when I hopefully have him sign my Constitution in Simi Valley on Wednesday.

VERY much ignoring Ron Paul. Very vocal about ALL things "conservative" affecting Maine and Nationally. They and their guests are always extolling the virtues of the war blah blah blah - But very often the plight of the overburdened Maine taxpayer.

If ONLY Ron would mention that he is aware of their far-reaching influence in central and southern Maine. Invite them publically to examine and comment on Ron's domestic, foreign, monetary policies (personally I know they would support ALOT if not most of them).

If ONLY Ron would say that their are a couple of Downeast Mainer Red Sox fans, Great Americans- - that he would gladly accept a personal or phone interview . THIS WOULD BE TOTALLY FANTASTIC..

Please Please ask Ron to acknowledge their existence (RAY and TED of WLOB morning news) at the very least!!

Tell him we want him to paint a vision for us - tell him he accurately identifies the problems - but a LEADER paints a VISION.

We love the message and the messenger - but we need a VISION from him. Reagan, MLK, JFK, all gave us a vision and RP vision would be the best!

A LEADER paints us a VISION and takes us there! The vision will be there after he is gone. If he paints a vision the money will flow in,

He looked like true president in this "campaign progress update" and it was good. He should make comments on current affairs at country and make people thinking "OMG why he isnt our president yet?!".

This is important. Tell him that when he talks about social security, that he should mention that the FUND runs out in 2017. And the FUND for Medicare runs out in 2013!

So when we talk about the economy, a GREAT way to tie it to the war is to explain that being able to FUND these programs, as the Dr. has promised...requires cutting the war and cutting unneeded departments such as the department of education!

He should ask:

How will the pro-war candidates do this? Raise taxes? Cut benefits?

He needs to emphasize that we act before its too late!
