Caught some thieves.....

2 weeks ago, a local supporter lost their 4x8 Ron Paul sign from his yard.....well, well, today I find a picture of the thieves with the sign and the rest of their youth group from church.....some are laying on top of the sign. I'm giving them till tomorrow to return the sign - it is supposed to still be at their church.
Also, after returning from canvassing 600 houses today with my son and a friend caught someone removing our Ron Paul signs.....well, we naturally confronted them and got our signs back....got this on video.
Just a reminder that we need to be real careful about where we place our signs, don't make them that easy to remove......I'll post the video to Utube if I figure out how.

I heard about a guy once
I heard about a guy once that kept having his signs stolen. This kid from my college was stealing, i think, Kerry signs. and went to steal this guy's sign for the third or fourth time. The kid from my school cut his hand really badly when he carelessly yanked it from the ground. Poetic justice and I think it taught him a lesson about free speech. PS I'm pretty sure this is illegal but anyone stupid enough to fall victim wouldn't go to the police.

my question is why didn't you immediately speak to the church pastor? Not only did they steal the signs, but involved their own church in a criminal and undemocratic act. I would imagine or at least hope that the pastor does not support such activity and might even tell the parents of this "church group".
I also agree you should contact the local newspaper or media. Any coverage will put an immediate stop to further thefts.
Videotaping is obviously another good idea.

Get this in the hands of your local media...media loves conflict...and such actions are abhorrent to most people, even if they don't like Ron Paul, they oppose such actions on principle...
Concoction
We've been spraying our signs down with a mix of crisco oil, motor oil, and deer piss (can be found at hunting stores). It doesn't harm anyone, but is very effective.

At the arboritum up here, we have to spray the trees with a skunk spray, so people don't cut them down for Christmas. It don't stink at all, until they bring them into their homes and then the trees start to warm up, ooooohweeeeeeeeeee, the whole house will stink LOL

I am not sure what angers me
I am not sure what angers me the most: the false "Christians" that permeate America. Or the interference with our Constitutional rights of a free elections. Or simply the act of thievery itself. But this is not a small matter, these people and their church should be taken to task for this.

this is APOSTASY up close and personal.....very few keep the commandments, b/c it is a SELF GOSPEL that is taught in most pulpits today. There are many in christendom that are lawbreakers and they don't even see it, b/c they are so used to being 'pat on the head' from the Dr. FEELGOOD's out there.
Following the constitution, following the commandments, all these are about keeping the law....and Jesus himself said that 'he did not come to ABOLISH the law, but to fullfill it (make it real, by living it out in the flesh).

I try and stay away from too much talk of religion on this forum but the truth is religion has been used by the neo-communist to weaken the American mind and spirit. (What makes them "neo"- communist is the fact this group of commies believe in what they call "hyper"- capitalism and while "they" are mostly atheist they want to create a "one-world" Judeo-Christian religion which is focused on the state.)

I would highly suggest that as you put your signs out, you spray them with pepper spray/mace so that if anyone decides they want to put their filthy little paws on them they quickly learn it's not in their best interests to do so.

Mine are forged from copper and carry a live electric current, making them deadly to church kids. Damn church kids.

Tell them you want to teach them the value of character.

The sign that was stolen was not seen by the people it was intended to influence. Not only restoration but retribution for time lost should be repayed according to the bible.
Also tell them the words of Jesus...if you love me you will keep
'if you love me you will keep my commandments".....b/c they broke the 8th commandment....thou shalt not steal. (Exodus chpt.20)
If they say they didn't steal it, just had some fun and borrowed it, then tell them that they now have broken the 9th commandment.."thou shalt not bear false witness".
Bottom line, they need to be reminded that they are not being a good witness for Christ, and this is EXACTLY why you are voting for Ron Paul b/c he is a CHRISTIAN who WALKS HIS TALK.
