Louisiana GOP posts final tally. Where do we stand?

Through all of this Louisiana nightmare, we have been waiting for the counting of those provisional ballots in LA to see exactly how many of our delegates were elected. LA GOP posted the final results this morning, but I don't have a list of delegates to compare it to, what is the final result???

Volunteer told me they counted the provisional ballots
I just talked to a volunteer, Rob, at LA GOP, who said that they counted all the provisional ballots, and that they listed the top 15 vote getters in each district on the web site. I don't know whether Rob knows what he is talking about, or whether he is authorized to speak for the LA GOP, but could someone in the know match those delegates with the candidates? Please.
They didn't count ALL of them
I have a PDF from LAGOPs website before provisionals were counted, it shows 169 provisional ballots for District 1, looking at the totals now its obvious only about 60 were counted. What happend to the other 100 which would have been enough to put us ahead??
BTW just look at the count of provisionals the ones with the most provisional ballots are the Ron Paul delegates, its quite an obvious difference.
What the LA GOP volunteer told me
Correction: Rob told me that they counted all the provisional ballots completed by people who were registered as Republican by the deadline. I said, "Oh, you mean they counted all the provisional ballots for those who were registered as Republican by November 30." Rob said that he did not know what the deadline was. He said, "I am just a volunteer."
Rob obviously is feigning ignorance, or doesn't know much about what is going on. I don't know whether he is authorized to say what he told me. But I would like to know how the delegates match up with the candidates. And I would love to know whether others hear the same story when they call the LA GOP.
They Purposely Caused an Increase in Provisional Ballots
They admittedly had the printed list of registered Republicans that was from Nov. 1. The deadline to register as a Republican and vote in the caucus was Nov. 30. I believe they knew Ron Paul would have many supporters switch during the month of November, therefore all those who did had to file provisional ballots since their names were not on the list of eligible voters when we signed in. I was standing in line next to a couple of voters who fell into this category.
Who in the major press might be willing to EXPOSE...

I can't explain Louisiana's process but
Ron Paul seemed to know this morning when he spoke in Maine.
He said it appears we came in at least second and if they count the contested votes that we won Louisiana (1st).
Where is the Press Release?
It is after 6:00. I talk to the LAGOP, they said it should be out by now.
There won't be a press release
at least not today, I'm sure they know it could affect the Florida primary, so there won't be anything more today I'm sure.

Counted and the gop get call out,,,,,,,,,,,,,Axsom said he submitted a full slate of Paul delegates to the party on Jan. 8. He said the list included 105 delegates and 70 alternates.
Axsom said six hours after he handed in the slate, Louisiana Republican Party communications and political director Jason Doré sent out a news release extending the deadline to register delegates until Jan. 12. Axsom said extending the deadline gave supporters of other candidates the opportunity to fill up their slates.
Doré was unavailable to comment.
Phillip Joffrion, Republican Party office volunteer, said the deadline was pushed back because of complaints that there was not adequate notification of the delegate registration deadline. He said news releases sent out to major media sources were not published in time to advertise the deadline.
"Jason Doré did not amend the rules. He decided to arbitrarily take authority into his hands that we believe he did not have," Axsom said.
Axsom said the only way to push back a deadline would be through the Rules Committee at the state convention or the Republican State Central Committee.

The news releases were not published in enough time however, in all 7 districts Ron Paul's groups had a full slate with delegates that were registered by the 11/30/07 deadline. After they saw the slate then the LaGop extended the deadline. I was an alternate in district 7. Only 32 people were running, 15 were Ron Paul alternates. NOT ONE Ron Paul delegate was chosen. That means all the other Winners were the names that registered after the deadline. Interesting enough, some of the names were on more than on slate. Also not one of our delegates were chosen. Ron Paul had the only table set up. The Uncommitted slate that was titled Prolife/profamily had names of all other candidates except Ron Paul. In reality, Thompson had the most on the list, but he dropped out that day. McCain had the next. Many people were not aware that they were on a McCain slate, because it just said Prolife/Profamily. (Who is against families?) So Ron Paul was running against the collective others. We had a new governor, Jindal and a promise of honest government. However, the LAGOP allowed a collective few to do something unethical so that the people's choice did not matter. I have been a republican for 30 years. Ron Paul has brought alot of interest to the party. But there will be blowback when they lose people because the LaGOP does not believe in democracy. Jason Dore is young. But only time will tell if he is brave. He is a puppet so far. Evil is done when good men do nothing.
Voting Twice?
If these people were on more than one slate, doesn't that amount to a double vote for anyone that voted for them? The way I see it, that allows the person casting the vote to, in effect, cast two votes - one for each slate. Can't we contest this somehow?

The people are handed a list of all the delegates running and they vote for 15 of the names. The slates are just cards handed out beforehand telling people which 15 they should vote for, so there was basically just overlap in the suggestion lists....and the idiots were stupid enough to fall for it and think (apparently) that they were voting for Reagan.

Provisional ballots NEVER really get counted.
"Provisional Ballots" are a tactic that Election Officials use to appear as if they are being "fair & balanced", instead of just telling you outright that you can't vote.
But it is just a dodge. Historically speaking, provisional ballots never end up really getting counted. They are treated in a far subordinate manner, for example, than absentee ballots are treated (which do get counted).
I would never place any faith on "Provisional Ballots".
Election Officials do not really recognize them as anything.
Simply put, they will be ignored (and nobody can make them get counted or prove whether they were or were not).

In this case they have to count. They used a voter list from November 1st when they themselves changed the deadline to the end of November and there were a crapload of new voters registered in those days.

I Just Called... I'm in disbelief...
I contacted the Louisiana GOP at 7:09PM EST (Monday) asking for the result totals after the provisional votes had been counted. The lady said she wasn't aware of any such recount or counting of provisional ballots. I told her that I thought the GOP was counting the provisional ballots because formal complaints had been filed citing great irregularities and bastardization of process. She wasn't aware of any of that and told me I might have to call back tomorrow when someone else is working the desk.
Maybe it's time to make some more calls??

Look on the totals for the 15 people with the most provisional ballots, thats the Ron Paul people. NOTE: Only about a 1/3rd of provisional ballots were counted.

Haven't counted
They still haven't counted most of the provisional ballots. The lagop webiste had 169 provisional ballots listed for District 1, reading the District 1 totals, 60 provisional ballots have been recorded. Where is the rest????

that they have probably STILL not counted the majority of the provisional ballots -- and I'm willing to bet that those ballots have practically disappeared -- they most certainly devised a way to make sure that they did not count.
This will HAVE TO BE A COURT BATTLE! Meanwhile, the focus should be on the primary on the 9th. Ron PAUL MUST WIN IT!!!!

Who Won?
How do we know who won? They don't tell us who these delegates are for. I'm so fed up with the cheating and slippery maneuvers this election. Its probably always been like this but I just had no reason to pay attention.
