To "KEEP IT UP IN OHIO"...
Get yourself a MeetUp group going ASAP.
Then get it activated. And I don't mean once a month MeetUps.
Go straight to "weekly" meetings right from the git-go.
We have also found that for anybody that may not have a large group
to work with, you can always contact another MeetUp group close to
you and ask that they join forces with your group to start holding joint
"weekly" MeetUp meetings. You will be very surprised how many of your
members will start showing up when you do this. We started this practice way back in October with the Kent and Akron groups. BANG! The membership grew, the participation doubled, and the focus and direction became totaly more energized. We no longer consider ourselves active.
We are now HYPER-active. And it shows.
We just did this same "weekly" schedule with the joint efforts of the Warren and Youngstown groups two weeks ago. We went from about six to ten members showing up to around twenty-five the first week, to thirty last Saturday. It works. And besides, we only have but weeks to go here in Ohio to do so much and build momentum.
What the biggest problem I find with most organizers is that they feel that they themselves MUST attend the MeetUp meetings. This is not how it works. They must understand that the main function of the organizer is to set up the MeetUps, and then they can pick somebody that is very motivated to run the meetings if they themselves can not be there.
This is about getting Ron Paul elected first and foremost.
Brainstorming ideas on getting the Ron Paul message to as many people as you can in the shortest amount of time. That's the ticket.
Start the group. Tell all of your friends to sign up, and ask them to tell their friends and family members to do so as well. There are a lot of people out there wanting to get involved in the campaign. Let them. Provide the platform for them to become "HYPER-active" in this critical time of the campaign. We need all hands on deck, on the double.

The vast majority don't have $200 for an emergency.
90% of us are living pay check to pay check.
It is we who pay the taxes that allow a government and that government treats us with contempt.
When we have a free society, we as individuals will feel free not just "not just arrested yet". Wait till be have the ID and how many laws to arrest and fine us for not having an ID we will have.

I run a small business, I work 7 days a week, I just can't responsibly lead right now, but if you folks send someone out, you'll find people ready to get active.

We are dead center in Lorain County. Oberlin College employs more people in Lorain County than anyone else. Oberlin students, historically VERY active, are ready to do SOMETHING, but they just don't know what.

I offer you a whole city.
