laughable

MTV- the guys with their elbows on the pulse of America- screw 'em- whats Myspace anyway? hasnt the msm already convinced us that its a bunch of paedophiles and some 13 yr old girl from Nebraska? This one is a no-brainer. they are pissing off their very demographic- these are the people who WILL see all of the bitching on Youtube if he IS excluded- Ron Paul will get more attention from sympathy vids than he would 6 min of talking about "we cant just print more money".

News Corp owns MySpace

bought em in 06 i think

Unfortunately, RP is getting what he deserves.

A political leader takes and commands media attention.

Instead, the rEVOLution is begging and pleading MTV (MTV!) to please, please include him in their stupid debate. But they don't have to because RP has been marginalized. And who marginalized him? He did it to himself by

1. Selling out the truthers (RP didn't want to look like a kook)

2. Not going to Montebello, Canada in August, 2007 and standing with 10,000
Canadian protestors who were protesting the NAU. (Again, RP didn't want to look like a kook. So when he mentioned NAU in a debate, Wolf Blitzer could just say there was no such thing)

3. Not voting to impeach Cheney or Bush. (RP claims there is a procedural problem with the bill, but I suspect RP doesn't want to look like a kook and annoy the Republican Bushie base)

4. Not reaching out to anti-war leaders because the Republican base thinks they are kooky and allowing the anti-war issue to be marginalized.

Actually, I think MTV is doing the right thing in excluding RP. A person who is
afraid of looking like a kook is one who lacks the courage of his convictions and is, therefore, unfit for a leadership role.

It was designed to take the government

you

And... I'm just guessing, but you are most likely the type of person that isn't happy with ANYONE or ANYTHING, unless it meets YOUR standards of approval. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. You obviously have some issues you rabidly want to promote, but please remember, this isn't about you.

The dumbest post I read today

is the one above.

Agent saboteur?

agreed

i feel dumber reading just 1/3 of it

Sure, each of us has his own

Sure, each of us has his own wishes for ways that RP could be a better candidate. In fact, if RP looked and spoke like Mitt Romney, or was as good of an orator as Barack Obama, he would probably be the Republican presidential candidate.

However, I think that you are out of line when you say, "Actually, I think MTV is doing the right thing in excluding RP. A person who is afraid of looking like a kook is one who lacks the courage of his convictions and is, therefore, unfit for a leadership role."

Think back to all the thing that RP said in the debates and during his TV interviews. He has gone to bat for us on many of the issues that we hold dear -- issues that the other candidates won't even touch.

No, RP is not our "dream candidate" but let's give the gentleman (and he is a gentleman) credit where plenty of credit is due.

Doesn't Rupert Murdoch now

Doesn't Rupert Murdoch now own Myspace?
However, bad move on their part! Lets check out Ron Paul's myspace page. Clearly has more "friends" than ANY other candidate. I think Bush has something like 64 friends!
In web page world (spefically networking sites like Myspace) more "friends"/viewers = more people see Ads = more money.
I guess Myspace and MTV are being over compensated for the money they'll lose by excluding their biggest name on their own site! Ironic, but i'm not surprised.
I havn't turned on MTV since the the 90s, so I'm not up to date, but don't expect the MSM to start covering Dr. Paul anytime soon.

By the way, hypothetically, say they did start covering Ron. Are you going to be their best friend then? Are you going to forgive them! NO! I hope not. We are on the brink of independent reporting. We don't need national news corporations telling us what is going on in the nation, when we can hop on Daily Paul, or YouTube and find out faster, more precise and more personally, what is happening.

OUTRAGEOUS !

This is the correct time to show our anger and disgust, IMO. I can't believe MTV and Myspace would stoop as low as FOX, even after 2 second place showings and after it's been confirmed that Ron Paul beat all the other Repubs in 4th quarter money raised. Outrageous !!!!

I know what question I'm going to submit ... "Where's Ron Paul!???"

lol

When Rudy drops out his picture will be replaced by Ron Paul's
(my guess)

We need to email and call.

We need to email and call. Ron Paul wins the 18-30 demographic which is this MySpace/MTV group. We need to get him in this forum. On RonPaull2008 someone posted email addresses in the dailyblog section. I just sent my letters as well.

MTV Sucks balls anyway and they don't care..

Perhaps its the fact that I am older, or perhaps its the fact that MTV has totally sold out to the corporate interests, but honestly I DO NOT think MTV is culterally relevant anymore. The main base of this network is now teenagers that cannot vote anyways. They sold out long long ago

As far as Myspace goes, it's a weird thing because it is a RP owned system and they are obviously big corporate sellouts as well but this is STILL a tool that can be used against the very system. So many Ron Paul supporters are on myspace and spread the word. I know at least 10 people that discovered Ron Paul from myspace alone.,..

Does anyone have contacts

Does anyone have contacts for MTV to complain there? We can put pressure on them to include Paul.

I mean the guy is beating Guiliani in votes that isn't fair.

This really destroys MTV's credibility.

FOX & MYSPACE = NEWS CORP.

Not a surprise...

Funny if the Cross dresser is out by then.

Thats wierd. Almost purposely IN YOUR FACE

"invited" and/or "confirmed" under each portrait of the candidates.

Could this be a Publicity stunt?
Something to get us all riled up, and draw attention to this debate?
Seems almost contrived..

That's exactly what I was

That's exactly what I was thinking. What are we gonna do though? Not object???
