This came in from Crystal Broyles today, I have been in contact with her for the past week since we are starting a similar project. She is a 22 year old gal from Alabama that is a die hard Ron Paul supporter, and organized this by herself.
This paper can be a launching point. DIGG this, myspace, facebook, youtube, meetup, and all the other great Ron Paul websites.

Hi there, I'm Crystal Broyles and most of you know I created the Ron Paul Newspaper. Matter of fact, most of you donated to help with the printing costs for either the Super Tuesday Edition or the Texas Edition of the newspaper. When I created the Ron Paul Newspaper, I really had no idea of the potential scope and power of a mainstream libertarian news source and the impact it would have on our nation and the way the world views us. Through the creation of the Ron Paul Newspaper, I feel destiny has knocked on my door as I have been shown a new way, the face of the new media.
These past months, the cloak of 'conservative' news has been pulled from our eyes as we watched Fox News—among many—repeatedly deny Dr. Paul and his supporters air time. Furthermore, when Fox News did cover Dr. Ron Paul, it was only so they could portray him as a far right nut.
People have called for a boycott of the Fox News network and its sponsors; we have had enough. But where does that leave us? We were Fox News watchers because we knew the other media outlets were leftist,
propaganda generating, liberal networks. Where do we now turn for news?
Why are we looking to turn? Instead of looking beyond, why not look within? The Ron Paul Revolution has not only started a grassroots revolt,
it has networked a multitude of like-minded, brilliant and creative individuals.
Soon after the formation of the Ron Paul Newspaper, it became apparent to me this was not going to be a one-time print run for Super Tuesday. Almost daily, I receive emails from people all over the United States (and even world), asking me to not stop. People are enthralled and want me to not only keep printing but further develop the newspaper. Writers contact me. Editors contact me. Designers contact me. Web developers contact me. Talented people from our own movement have come to me wanting to know how they can be involved.
Launching a new media is a massive undertaking; one which can be led in various directions. However, I have received many suggestions and done a lot of research into current media trends and now have a clear vision for a Liberty based media. To give us a supercharged revolt of a birth, we undeniably need your sponsorships.
With funding we can create and launch an online newspaper/blog/media outlet with Pod Casts, videos and even online syndicated radio. However
we need funding to:
A) Develop the online interface by which this media outlet will function.
B) Secure top notch, liberty-minded journalists/writers.
C) Build a small, yet highly capable team of editors and marketers.
The printed Ron Paul Newspaper has been distributed to almost 200,000 people and we've only printed twice. Just think of what we can accomplish if we are a fully syndicated online news outlet. I envision the creation of a site similar to the Huffingtonpost.com, yet liberty centered. If this sounds like the media you've been looking for, please do not hesitate -- contribute to this new initiative.

We will be discussing ways to get your own local news in the paper too, it would have to be a large order but if you have any Ron Paul candidates for congress in your area this would be a great way to support them!
Newspaper: Antiques for the new Revolution?
Anything to spread the gospel of freedom and constitutional government is a step in the right direction. However, Newspapers are becoming antiquated, and Dr. Paul's campaign has only helped to push away from this medium. More organized internet resources might be more effective.

Actually newspapers are far from antiqued, what will happen to our digital history when James Bond doesn't get there in time to stop the global electromagnetic pulse? Microfilm will give us more than every computer on earth at that point!
But to be serious, the internet has very little authority over opinion, at this moment you may even think my own is not even worth a dime. Newspapers have to accept responsibility for what they say, websites don't (AOL's online polls prove that). The whole "Newsletter" issue is example of accountability even 15 -20 years later! TRY THAT WITH A WEBSITE! we are lucky enough to have archive.org but very little of the original web is archived, and with dynamic pages changing every second I'm sure it's a lot of stress to record all of it. As the web grows bigger it may prove impossible to even confirm what was even said a month ago.
A Ron Paul newspaper will speak a truth that may be stored in an attic, which may spark a larger revolution than any imagined now. It is foolish to believe anything recorded on printed matter is antiquated, this is what dominating people want you to believe so they can simply press a single button rather that do the labor intensive 1984 task of rewriting history.
I am weary of your post and the motive behind it, thread carefully.
We already have internet support.
Actually, we already have a lot of support from people who get their news from the internet. What we need is the support of people who just get their news from the TV and newspapers. This Ron Paul newspaper seems to be a good way to do that.

Next part of the game plan, will be to do some slight revisions to take out reference to "Super Tuesday" and send out for another BIG print run.
Had any Feedback from Readers (other than RP Supporters) ?
I was curious if you've received any feedback from readers who are not a declared RP supporter.
Also, besides the primaries/caucuses, there is still a general election and poor economic times awaiting the U.S. Are you planning on continued distribution to areas after the primaries? Will there be another issue following this initial one (ongoing coverage and reporting)?

Yes there are plans to incorporate several newspapers into a National newspaper, but the ongoing plan for right now is to distribute to other voting states after today.

I'm a supporter in Alabama & we got these newspapers last week in order to distribute for today. We've blanketed our districts with these & I think it's a great idea. Thanks to Crystal for making it a reality. This is a prime example of how we can all come together and take back our country!

To late for me in NJ. We are down to handing out flyers, waving signs, and we placed an ad in a small newspaper and abour 5000 phonebook cover letters.

This is a great idea, I wish I would have know abou this sooner. It would have been so easy to spread the word in so many towns. I mean I really could have made a huge difference with this. We should make sure everyone in the upcoming states after Tuesday gets a copy of this!

And don't forget Super Tuesday is not the end! Ron's tactics are for delegates that support him not necessarily delegates that "have" to vote for him.

So many of us may have had a irrational fear of maybe what our neighbors would say of us, but handing out a Newspaper is so natural and holds the authority of being "News" with it, that it could dispel the fear of being looked at as a kook with a pamphlet.

Heading out now to drop 800
In a few short hours, 800 households will have Ron Paul newspapers in their driveways in my town. What a quick, effortless way to inform others of Ron Paul. One of my meetup group members placed 400 last night within 40 minutes. Such a great idea!

Kids and I did about 1600 last night in 4 hrs. and knocked down 500 in 1 hour today...the only reason we are not out anymore is because we ran out of newspapers.....
If your state is post super tuesday, consider doing this......
400 newspapers per hour...
There seems to be a pattern developing here. It looks like everyone is averaging about 400 papers per hour. We delivered 800 papers in two hours tonight and had a blast doing so! I originally thought 800 would be more than I could handle - now I wish that I had a couple thousand more.
It may not be as personal as canvassing door to door, but I wonder how long it would take to knock on 800 doors?
For those of you with state primaries after Super Tuesday, this is an incredible way to reach thousands of people in a very short amount of time.

Lets take it a step furher.
How about a full blown bi-weekly report. Have people donate articles. Don't take stories from any other news source. Charge a nominal subscription fee. Have advertisers. Of course, they must be checked out and approved first. Why not?

Subscription fees for internet journals and reports have a miserable failure record -- nearly universal. It only highly restricts readership and guarantees not many people will visit the site.

Time frame will be determined by support, that is why we need to show a lot of support right now for this paper to have the confidence to continue.
I agree with our own news sources, without giving too much, i'll say slashdot and wikipedia are examples. Need to be sure there are enough eyes on the content to make it work.

Back in the 1800's...
The first thing that any political movement did, was buy a press and start their own newspaper. The myth of objective journalism was a 20th century fraud perpetrated by the big media companies like the New York Times and the Washington Post, who wanted to pretend that their socialist bias was something we should all just accept.

However, this is not a scam, just finished rolling 1600 copies at 12:35 central time - just got them finished and I'm going out with 2 of my kids to leave in the driveways of my neighbors so they can read it when they get up in the morning.

How do they pay for the paper, print it, and deliver it accross the nation. ALL IN THE SAME DAY?
It does not make any sense. Please read it carefully before you give money to this project and ANY other. Scams ARE out there.
She has 100,000 copys made so far
Crystal has already ordered 100,000 copys, over half of them are ordered, and she told me several people were willing to pay overnight rush. There are several people in nearby states that have driven all the way over to pick them up and a group of supporters in Alabama are doing delivery even in the rain.
Can we get more people that have seen the paper to post here to help put out any doubt?
Basically if you are not nearby, you can chose to pay overnight or contribute to the Alabama effort. There is also a Maryland newspaper separate from this called "The American way" with a lot of pro Ron Paul articles in it.
I am the coordinator for the full national Ron Paul newspaper project. We are working on merging several projects together to create a new newspaper.
Crystal put the call out to me earlier this week, and I have been on the phone with her several times. I was the one to originally contact her and ask her to join the nation wide journalistic version.
