LA Times Media Blackout
Thanks to Mike Morgan for the following head's up:
The LA Times/Bloomberg issued a press release on June 11 about the candidates running for President in both parties. It is a pdf document that you can read here. It begins, "As found in previous polls, Republicans are not too satisfied with their field of candidates compared to their Democratic counterparts, especially the conservative element of the Republican Party."
So far so good. Then it goes into an analysis of the Big 3 (the Rudy McRomney Trio) and on to the results of a Republican poll it conducted. All nine other candidates are listed as choices *** including Fred Thompson and Newt Gingrich -- who aren't even running -- as well as "don't know" and "other" -- but not Ron Paul, who swept the three debates according to online polls.
Ron Paul is the 3rd highest ranked search on technorati right now, right ahead of paris hilton! ***poll taken june 7-10 *** WHERE'S RON? You can't spam technorati!!!
Search results:
1.youtube
2.sopranos
3.ron paul
4.paris hilton
5.myspace
MSM is obviously very threatened. It is hard to say exactly how popular Ron Paul is with this ongoing blackout.

The timing of this (in my
The timing of this (in my little world) is so strange. Only minutes ago did I finish watching the brilliant documentary, "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" about the coup and counter coup to expel and then reinstall Hugo Chavez. It tells the story of how the corporate media of Venezuela worked closely with the wealthy elite of Venezuela (and likely the CIA) to overthrow the democratic government of Venezuela to replace it with a brutal dictatorship (though you've been conditioned to believe it was the other way around!). It showed how the people rose up in defense of the constitution, peacefully, to demand his reinstatement. God, what a powerful film!
The same tactics used then and there are being used here and now. This is good for us all in the long run because the MSM is so desperate that they are making these moves that will backfire horribly and irreparably.

LA TIMES "NON SCIENTIFIC" POLL LINK
The LA Times has a "non-scientific" poll they put up today that DOES have Paul's name listed. Let them know what would have happened if they'd actually had the forthrightness & honesty to list Paul in their "scientific" poll:

To whom it may concern:
I was just reading your poll pdf from the 11th. I noticed that Dr. Ron Paul was not mentioned at all. Were you aware that he is an announced candidate? All other Republicans were mentioned.. including some that have not even announced that they were running.. How can this be? Im sure it was just an oversight as, I would hate to think there was any bias in your reporting. Whoever is in charge of compiling your candidates list is obviously inept or has been promoted to tasks that are well beyond their feeble abilty. I am sure this issue will addressed in any subsequent polling.
As always- happy to help!

Add The News Hour with Jim Lehrer to the list
I noticed last Friday that The News Hour with Jim Lehrer had an entire segment about campaigning on the Internet in which the spent a considerable amount of time discussing Mitt Romney and absolutely no time discussing Ron Paul.
Brownback 0
And Brownback even got 0 and they put him in.
I swear Brownback and Gilmore arnt even in the race, and they talk about removing Paul?? I mean these guys barley have any presence in the online OR real world polls.
Mainstream Media - hired lackeys
Most of us have known that, ever since the New York Times published The Pentagon Papers, that various government agents have not only put a clamp on a free media, they have the ability to "spike" stories they do not like. This was later true prior to Iran/Contra when, at the New York Times, Keith Schneider's "primary source" story--about massive amounts of cocaine being used to pay for weapons--was waved off by the Time's CIA overseer.
This kind of thing--the CIA and other government operatives--steering the stories in the media is not new, and most of us are well aware of it. So, with the LA Times, or the New York Times, or CNN or Fox, choses not to cover Ron Paul, there is a good reason: Ron Paul represents a sigfnicant threat to these agendas and the secrecies that cover it. When Dr. Paul says he will abolish The Federal Reserve... well, that story cannot be covered except by "nuts" on the internet, or a few brave media outlets.
That is why it is so important to continue to sent emails to the media; that we know they are lackeys, hired to do the bidding of the government, when the stories concern matters of national interest and security.
One thing I love about the Ron Paul supporters: they (we) are passionate, tenacious and growing in numbers. This is a very good thing.
USA Today Blackout
If you follow the money, it is not surprising that USA Today would also have a blackout on Ron Paul. To have a major front page story (yesterday), titled "Each Voter Supports a Different Candidate" picturing 8 candidates including Gore and not mentioning Dr. Paul is slanted journalism and par for the course. Personally as the support base grows and the globalist media blackout continues, I believe this too will backfire. It is like one huge lie...one big flag on the play. It works in our favor and Ron Paul's, clearly spelling out how America has been bought by the neocon globalists who "think" they can create history with no regared for the constitution or the rights and will of the people. As the lie grows more blatant, it also grows more apparent to more people.
David G. Korten's "When Corporations Rule the World" is an eye-opener. Big part of the message is..We are on the brink of disaster. Corporations do own the world and have more control on any country's economics and trade policies than their own governments. Ask yourself why this enormous permanent base is being built in Iraq if a change in administration or bills in Congress might bring the troops home? The only answer is that the powers that be believe neocon globalist plans for the Middle East will continue on track regardless of which party is in the White House.
Can there really be proponents of nuking Iran? Could there be a false flag operation to sway public opinion toward such a wrong move?? ,,,before the next election?
Only Ron Paul will attempt to slowly dismantle this monster that so few people seem to know about. In the past, "truth" was easily dismissed as "conspiracy theory." Ron Paul's movement is resulting in a massive education of the public. The "powers that be" can no longer "create history" given an educated public that knows the truth. Television and mass market media does not matter to those who get their news elsewhere. No more TV for me (sigh goodbye Discovery Channel and <g> Wheel of Fortuhne. No more USA Today (it was a useless rag anyway).

America in critcal condidtion...The E.R.? Or the Morgue...
Rise up America - time to cancel all those subscriptions to a corrupt, useless, and slanted, media that's clearly against you...your family, and America! Let your voice be heard in a language they best understand - MONEY! But just don't cancel - cancel with a letter of protest to the CEO of the company you're dumping. Cancel by telling your family, friends, and co-workers of the dangers of swallowing the poisonous rhetoric and lies being spread by these sell-outs. And send your money to support America's last chance, the best Rx, Dr. Paul. Our country is on the gurney, in the hall of the hospital. On one side is the E.R. operating room, where Dr. Paul is standing by, armed with the surgical tools needed to bring this grand lady back to life as our Founding Fathers intended. On the other side of the hall is the morgue, with a team of coroners, comprised of our sitting President, and all the other candidates for President (the real evil terrorist threat to America with their hidden agendas) salivating over the very organs that have made America great...freedom, truth, individual rights, sovereignty, and the heart of America - her Constitution. You? Well you're the attendant that will push America into the E.R. or the morgue. How bad do you want her to live? You decide America's fate - E.R. or Morgue.
