Ron Paul Invited to MTV/ MySpace's 'Closing Arguments'
The Daily Paul received the following email today from Jason Rzepka at MTV:
outputTonight, MTV and MySpace released the following statement:
A key goal of the MySpace/MTV Presidential Dialogues has been to ensure that young peoples' voices are heard during this election. Due to the overwhelming response from Ron Paul's youth supporters, as well as his strong polling numbers among young voters, we are thrilled to invite him to participate in this Saturday's "Closing Arguments" special. An invitation has been extended to his campaign and we look forward to their response.

Great
Ron Paul did an excellent job in answering the questions. A lot of people agreed with him on MTV's live voting poll also, which is great. Obama is on right now, and with an open mind, he does not sound convincing at all.
Hope this being on MTV gave Ron Paul plenty of exposure!
Does anyone know how
You can get in the audience to this?
It would be great if we could fill it with RP people!

Bump
I feel that this should be on the front page today :)
MTV/Facebook
This is an excellent opportunity for Ron Paul. I hope he can make it. Speaking for 15 or 20 minutes without being interrupted, wow! That's right down his alley. If it's carried on Paltalk which is one of the top chat programs on the internet, (download it now to be ready; it takes a bit of getting used to), there will probably be hundreds of people in the room listening. www.paltalk.com
It is a forum
As I read the press release this is a mixed forum, republican and democrat, where each candidate has an uninterupted 15-20 minutes to state their case and take questions directly from the audience. This is Ron Paul's forte and he should do VERY well.
It is stated that there will be up to 200 million viewers on various broadcast outlets including mobile devices. The event is sponsored by MTV, MySPace, and the Associated Press. The company I work for will also be there for our 'newstalk online' show that airs on www.paltalk.com.
Also I invite all of you to join us on paltalk.com as we have lots of Ron Paul supporters running around on the service, including several dedicated Ron Paul rooms. Paltalk is a full blown multimedia chat service that allows voice, video, and text. You can also upload and play video clips to your chat room, which is really helpful if you want to let Ron speak for himself to a big audience.
Campaign confirmed YESTERDAY (Thrs) his attendance
MTV ran the headline on Thursday that Ron had accepted their invitation.
You KNOW that this one is gonna be gooooooooooood!
:-)
my vote
you have my vote. if you dont win, what will voting for you really do?
Sending emails and calling Works!!!!
Yes, supporters of Dr. Paul like you that send emails and make phone calls do make a difference. When the corporate media realize the size of our numbers, they understand the size of our pocketbooks and future lost revenues by boycotts on sponsors, etc.
Every individual action we take, adds up!!!!!
And up we will go.
Paul is confirmed according to MTV headline

Ron Paul better go or I will scream...
Go Ron GO!
Ron Paul better go or I will scream...
Go Ron GO!
Closing Arguments is the name not when he will speak
Closing Arguments is the name of the forum due to its proximity to Super Tuesday. It is not the time at which Ron Paul will speak during the forum.
So let me guess that they were NOT going to invite him
unless the riot happened.
That means that group demands do work occassionally.
Without a doubt, this time.
Without a doubt, this time.
I thought it was a debate?
Wasn't this suppose to be a debate? What the heck are closing arguments? Does this mean that they are still holding a debate, and only allowing Ron Paul to attend the "After Debate" special? If that's the case, then that is such a joke!
Regards,
Blaze
