of knowledge, that is... Yes, anxiety is through the roof. Sister think I'm losing it. Sleep is a struggle. I'm trying to put things in perspective.

We've been awoken to some truths here. We've allowed ourselves to hear and adopt these truths. Information keeps coming, and weeding out the crap from the truth is a struggle. Just like the MSM distorts, other authors, blogs, etc.. feed into our new found passion with less than accurate info. Dr. Paul himself stated something to the degree, "we can turn this thing around in a year - year and a half or so. In case of a cataclysmic event however, all bets are off". I think we are really focused on this event that may happen. Truth is, nobody knows if this will be a long, slippery slope or a cliff.

what others have probably already said, stick by your friends and family. If times get tough, join those who are in the same situation you are. The banding together of like minded people in your community will ensure your happiness and survival.

If bad times come, this country is extremely fragile - and our "diversity" will pretty well insure that things get dangerous. Think "Katrina" times 1000 and spread it around the country. The government will NOT be able to save you - even if it wanted to (which is questionable). In such a situation, large cities would likely become like a theater on fire with the exits plugged.

A good time to "insure" against this possibility is NOW. A good place to start is by picking up a 6 month supply of food. You can take care of this NOW and lower your risk and your stress.

Beyond that, and at least as important, start thinking about where you would go in an emergency and who you would want for your "community". If you know good people with a good work ethic and some fundamental skills, I suggest you begin getting closer to them and making your own community.

In the Great Depression, America had it relatively easy. We were: (1) a net creditor nation (2) family farms and food producing gardens were widespread and in ongoing production so food was generally not a problem (3) we were NOT "diverse", but much more bound into strong communities of ethnic/religious/language/extended family/philosophical communities - which naturally pulled together in an emergency (4) we were the world's leading manufacturing country and all the essentials of life were available in abundance within our own country (5) we had practical survival skills, lower expectations regarding what society "owed" us, and lived much closer to the earth and commonsense. For these and other reasons, as I said, we got off relatively easy in the Great Depression. Don't expect things to go quite so easily if we fall down from our current heights of artificial stupidity.

I'm not sure what's happening to me. A non-political 62 year old who burst on fire when Ross Perot came on the scene only to see him scared off. I sank back into depression. Now again I'm on fire for Ron Paul, but unfortunately I think that the masses are dummer than a sack of hammers. My wife thinks I'm nuttier than a squirrel turd, but I'm starting with the purchase of a 9mm hand gun to be followed next year with an assault rifle, if it is even still possible to own a firearm, hell, if there is a next year. Thge writing is on the wall. There's a storm coming. (And other such cliche's and movie quotes) I'm doing as much I can. This movement cannot end if RP is not elected. We are joined together at this site, at least until big brother shuts down the Internet.

I have called the creeping, subtle feeling of unrest and anxiety "social shock". This is not psychobabble, but just my term for how I have been feeling, probably since the good doctor announced his run for President. Like DonnaMatrix below, I've been around a long time in the freedom movement, and I have never felt this way before. I have felt vulnerable and unpleasant and I'm not happy.

What I have come to to help with my thoughts and feelings is the following. It seems to be working! I'm feeling good about my preparations.

I will do what I can to improve the chances of myself, my dog and my adult children, no matter what comes around in the future. All this just seems to make sense to me as a responsible, self-sufficient adult.
- continue to buy silver with spare cash (in person)
- increase my relatively slim food storage pantry and keep it up
- store dog food, emergency supplies, hand crank radio, medical supplies,
- adjust my IRA - gold mining, cash and high quality international stocks (done)
- buy a rifle, shotgun and ammo - practice
- buy a woodstove this month and install it - get wood in
- water storage
- secure my house with steel doors and better windows with security
- make a garden space this Summer
- secure my yard (where my garden is and my dog runs)
- get stronger & healthier - lift weights again, eat better
- increase the insulation of my house
- get some solar panels and battery storage for minimal needs
- get solar hot water panel and minimal system
- help the Doc get elected
- more as I think of it

All of this has helped me to get out of the funk. Do it NOW! I think that what I CAN change is my own little world, so I am.

I agree with one of the posters below, you got to get past all that emotion and just start changing your view of the US and the world.

Man, why do you only worry about the "Rockefeller's assets being frozen"? Why not Rothschilds, Schiffs, Kuhns, Leobs, Harrimans, Lehmans, Sachs?

Why are you only looking at Rockefeller? He is just an agent of the Rothschilds. I don't worry much anymore. After doing my homework and realizing that all of these agendas are brought about because normal folks like us, and now we are becoming more aware, I feel satisfied that if at any time we're going to take back control of America it will be now.

I also take comfort in knowing more who is to blame. Sure, the Rockefellers are high on the list, but how many of us realize that people such as Michael Mukasey and Michael Chertoff are BOTH dual citizens of Israel?

Yeah, you remember those dancing Israelis detained shortly after the 9/11 attack, right? The ones with bomb residues and box cutters and such that were sent back to Israel without ANY proper investigation!!!

OH, and researching the history of the Khazars, and realizing that they were a race of high political, strategical intelligence, and that they clothed themselves in the Jewish religion in order to continue their conquests. The Khazar descendants, it seems, have helped establish the war mongering state of Israel, and many in power in Washington today are dual citizens of this warring state!!!!

I've had those nights lying awake in bed thinking about what's going on. But I've come to the conclusion that we are heading into something very positive.

There is going to be a period of difficult adjustment and life changing events, but we will come out the other side into the greatest period of freedom, peace and prosperity in human history.

It's my belief that what's going on now with all the evil and corruption coming to light is a necessary step in the process of eradicating evil and corruption. We are now in the period of "darkness before the dawn."

That's my belief, anyway.

The Character in the movie goes through exactly what you are going through. I went through it myself, and it is overwhelming at first, but you should be able to overcome this and be able to control it as you begin to see the world from a different point of view.

I missed reading this thread when it was new, but I'm glad it's active again, and on my Birthday even! :) I've read a lot of encouraging posts here, and it moves me to see the camaraderie and people propping each other up in tough times. It's a beautiful thing.

They say there are five stages of grief:

The stages are:

Denial: The initial stage: "It can't be happening. Not in THIS country"
Anger: "Why us? It's not fair."
Bargaining: "Just let us have our country back for a little while longer."
Depression: "I'm so sad, why bother with anything?"
Acceptance: "It's going to be OK."

I, personally, have experienced all five stages. I have reached acceptance and an understanding that everything is going to work out exactly the way it's supposed to, and exactly according to God's plan. I am not a "religious" person, but I am a spiritual person and I believe in a higher power.

I will still forge on in this movement and do what I can (donate, stay informed, spread the word, phone & write my reps, petition, etc.), but I realize I can only do what I can do. Worrying about what is coming is not going to add one minute to my life, nor is it going to improve the quality of my life (or those around me) in the slightest.

I have a lot more peace than I did even a couple of weeks ago. Prayer and meditation helps tremendously, as does being prepared for the worst, but not dwelling on it.

I won't elaborate on the entire 12-step program but I believe that it will meet sometime in May in Washington DC. There may be anywhere from 5 to 876,742 others at this meetup. Dr. Paul himself will name the date and be speaking so show up early for a good seat. If you could bring coffee and donuts we would be glad to share (and hear) thoughts about any "anxiety and stress". We will all share in a group hug and then tear David Rockefeller a new one. Just what the Dr. ordered.

I pushed RP before the primarys...and it seems like it will take a miracle for him to win. I do not doubt for one second that those who have faith will be protected. I remember reading something about prophets and their visions. And one of them concerns how all these horrible things are to happen..like california, florida, ny is to go up in "flames" but that God's ppl would be safe and taken care, just like mesach, shadrach, and abendingo and the fury furnace! I am in information overload and only know that we must each do all we can to fight now and sustain this movement..no matter what! I've know about this since 1975. I read it all. I've joined every group. I was there when Larry McDonald died. I've written letters. I've walked precincts before any of you knew what a precicnt was. I was there when the jet that took off from Florida was hit with a missle. I was there when blood flowed on Ruby Ridge. I read about it first in a newsletter (there was no internet). I was there when farmers were killed on their own land. I never though enough people would wake up in time. I wasn't even going to vote this year.

I'm 53. and never thought this would be wide spread. 5-10% is fantastic. 10-25% is amazing. I am not alone, but I thought I was.

I don't cry anymore except for now - for my country - for my constitution. I remember reading in grade school George Washington farwell address - when he spoke of millions of children yet unborn - and I realized he was talking about me. No doubt my blood will flow into the land and mingle with those who have already stood and fought. I have made my choice long ago. I'm not scare anymore.

I am a fairly religious person, but do not attend church anymore. I do believe in God.

This Revolution has touched me deeply in an almost religious way.

I told my family about 6 months ago that this campaign seemed to be touched by God. I can't say why, I just feel it.

I think there is more to this Revolution than we even realize . . .

Do not fear any of this, let it strengthen you to fight and realize we are the solution. They want you to fear them. They want you to stay up late worried about the future because if you do this, they have you. Your name tells me you see the revolution as a serious very real movement. Take it very seriously and spread that thought everywhere you can. Make them fear us, because they should. We will take this country back! So do not fear my friend.
