7 Months to the Convention

That Ron Paul has stayed the course is, in itself, a remarkable feat. It is also a shining testament to the strength and popularity of his message of freedom, and of the Constitution.
Two-thirds of the Republican hopefuls have fallen by the wayside but not RP. Yes, he's back in the pack, but do not be concerned. He has, like the proverbial Tortoise, maintained a steady pace and his base of support grows each day.
That is why it is so important for you and me to keep spreading the word and explaining why Ron Paul is the only real choice to save the Republic and restore a sound financial footing. Yes, the odds are long, but consider what the pundits were saying last June. They were REALLY long then. And, when Huckabee bows out - as he most surely will - that will leave 2 pro-war candidates and Ron Paul.
Much will happen over the next seven months. There is money in the bank and it is being spent wisely. Although it seems there is one money bomb after another these days, it is important to contribute, even if it is only a few dollars. You can donate any old time. The money bombs often catch the media's attention and this is good when it happens.
Above all, do not be discouraged. Keep the faith, keep saying prayers for the safety and forward motion of Dr. Paul. The convention will most certainly be brokered, so becoming a delegate can only help the cause of freedom.
I am happy. Not ecstatic, but that will come later on. It takes time for a sleepy nation to wake up and we are doing our part to help that. I salute you, my friends at Daily Paul. We are doing something good and true and necessary.

Last year no one even new
Last year no one even new who Ron Paul was, this year at least we have our foot in the door. We know what we are up against, and if Ron has to run third party I think it will only boost morale. Im not saying that the fight for the GOP is over, but at the same time why not be at least prepared for the next step.
This Years Advantages, based on last years experiences.
- We know for certain that the MSM is just a tool for the other side, so stop crying about what the MSM does and does not, they are NOT on our side!
- Canvassing with DVD's, and Flyers has been really effective, the average citizen, once informed will have the fire to do somthing and that only makes our rEVOLution stronger. How many supporter from the other camps do what we do? Overpasses all over L.A. have Ron Paul rEVOLution banners.
-I have personally converted everyone of my friends and family over to Ron Paul by just explaining it in simple terms. We are Fighting for our Constitution, the only thing that protects our RIGHTS! So word of mouth does work.
-If you were one of the guys just ranting on the computer all day, wake up, get out and move, get out and be the difference you want to see. Clearly sitting on your computer did not get the job done!
-Donations to the campaign are the life blood of this Movement. Without that Ron Paul would be an after thought by now.
-Forum boards, Websites, and such have been a key in organizing our rEVOLution. Keep them up.
-At the same time don't just preach to the people who are already followers, go out side and convert people who have never heard of Ron Paul. Some people stay in these forums where there is little or no opposition, and then wine when there is opposition. You knuckle heads, if you can't deal with oppostion in a forum, how the hell are you gonna deal with it out on the streets? For me contrasting view points only sharpen my mental edge. Get out and get new People, stop being afraid of opposition!
-Those videos posted by the average joe are really effective in opening the minds of the sheeple, or so called "blue pill" people. After watching a good documentary like "Freedom to Facism" people will say to me, "well what can I do It's all rigged." "Actually" I say, you do have an option, there is this guy Ron Paul who is voicing your concerns and is fighting as we speak to uphold this constitution, you want to do something look up Ron Paul, and spread the word!
Now we have one year still to do what we have to do, if we have 500,000 people on our side now, it is still staggering compared to last year when no one new Ron Paul. I remember last year in the spring I was telling people about Ron and they had no clue what I was talking about, by mid year it was, "Oh that internet guy." "The Kook." I say yea if being a kook means upholding the constitution then he is a kook, but Now when I talk about Ron Paul people actually are alot more open to him, so I see proggress. I alway laugh at the people who don't see the bigger picture, " Oh, Ron lost a couple of GOP states, I give up." WTF? Did you put all of your eggs in one basket, this is about FREEDOM, the CONSTITUTION, Your RIGHTS! You give up? This is going to take time, and if you give up at the first sign of adversity, than you have truly missed the point, or the example that RON PAUL HAS LEFT US. He has been fighting this fight for longer than most of you have been alive, and you want to give up in less than a year?

Move Forward, It reminds me of that Rocky speech, it's not how many times you get hit, it's how many times you can get hit and keep moving forward, and that's How Winning is done!
Look at it like this, We have had a practice run, a whole year to see what does and does'nt work, we see our shortcommings and we see our strengths now. We have another chance at this, we have until November to make our case stronger, and if this year is anything like last year I expect to see our message grow by leaps and bounds.
If by November we don't have a President Paul it is not the end of the world, it is just the begining of a new one, as long as we get the message out, there will be others to carry the torch of FREEDOM. This is not about RON PAUL this is about our CONSTITUTION, and that is what people resonate to. I could shout Ron Paul on the street corner all day and get little or no response, except for the ocasional honk from a fellow supporter. I go and talk to new converts not about Ron Paul but in a different way, I talk about the fact we are losing our rights, to bills like "the patriot act" and the "Military commisions act" and our constitution is endanger. I only offer Ron Paul as a solution, as person who understands and has the same concerns about losing our rights.
The Truth is the Only Weapon We Need!
Now let's knuckle up get some feet on the ground and go do this!
You may read this and just cast it aside, as another comment or we can start galvanizing our strategy, instead of crying about how unfair it is, how unfair everyone is to us, wake up the world is an unfair place, it takes JUST men and women to Make it a JUST place. GALVANIZE THE MOVEMENT, make it clear what our path should be. Don't wait on HQ ever since when did we do that? Independence is the Strength of this movement, stop blaming everyone else and get up get out and do something!
The Seeds of Truth we Plant today will grow to be the Tree of Freedom tommorow.

WHERE are the TV commercials in Super Tuesday States?
I am beginning to smell a rat.... a Harry Browne RAT.
The Revolution is doing all the advertizing.... HQ is not advertizing during the blackout at key strategic times, such as tonight on the MTV debate. Their commercials should be some of the infectious ones the grassroots has produced. HQ should have ran TV ads during the CNN reagan liabrary debates just recently.... instead we all watched Huckabee's commercials...
I smell a rat and I know first hand we are loosing supporters at the Margins.... Ron Paul even said himself that McCain has been getting most of the anti-Iraq war vote.... THAT is a major HQ campaign failure. What are THEY doing about it? Most of all, WHERE are the national TV commercials in all Super Tuesday States?

LETS ORGANIZE A MARCH ON THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION AND UPSTAGE THE ENTIRE SHOW. WE GOT 7 MONTHS, TO ORGANIZE RON PAUL SUPPORTERS AND MAKE THE MARCH. THE MARCH SHOULD START APPROX. 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE CONVENTION. PICK A LOCATION THAT RON PAUL CAN LEAD AND SLOWLY GATHER 100S OF THOUSANDS OF SUPPORTERS. THE GOAL THAT 1000000 OR MORE PEOPLE MARCH TOGETHER BEHIND OUR LEADER RON PAUL.

It doesn't matter if the MEDIA PUPPETS controlled by the CFR mongruls succeed in decimating Dr. Paul, they CANNOT change the knowledge we have gained in our heads. And, we can continue "WAKING UP AMERICA" as our pet project. That will not cost us a dime, other than time, in emailing, talking, talking, emailing, emailing, and calling in on local & national radio shows, letters to the editor, etc. etc.
The MEDIA CONTROL-FREAK" cable news & print media owners are beneath contempt, and whether we win or lose this battle, we will not stop.
You see, what they UNDERESTIMATE the American public on, is that when we all do wake up, the wave of apathy will turn into activism and anger at how we've been duped. Right now, MOST AMERICANS are already apathetic about the "do-nothing" politicians who do nothing about illegal immigration. ALL the radio talk show hosts are deflated and have not one candidate they are excited about, not one!
Of course, virtually ALL of them steal Dr. Paul's lingo, from the "constitution, to limited government, to talk of the Founding Fathers" (this came directly from the mouth of Sean Hannity the other day on his radio show), but not one has the guts to get up and support him......as they would rather throw the baby out with the proverbial bath water, than to just make "less" of an issue about the "war" and accept him as a viable candidate who can BEAT the crap out of the Democrats. And, let us not kid ourselves, the Democrats DO NOT WANT RON PAUL to be the nominee, because THEY know he would be hard to beat.
YET, I do think that day is fast approaching, especially with the neverending illegal immigration encroaching on our culture, when there will be massive numbers of Americans breaking down the switchboard in Washington D.C. with millions of irate calls over one issue or another.

This is a reply I got back from Libertarian Party political director Sean Haugh. I think it is important that we gain the support of this party and the Constitution party. Also I am calling out to anyone who knows someone famous. We have a lot of angry music from the past 20 years due to our government and I wonder why none of them have gotten involved. You would think bands like Anti-flag and Bad Religion or Rage against the Machine would get involved, but maybe nobody has told them what the heck is going on. Email everyone people. Send letters with shoes tied to the envelope by a shoestring to get their attention if you have to. Lets gather some more support, we need to stop preaching the choir and tapping the bank accounts and rake in more support for liberty!

decisions about who our Presidential nominee will be and how to support
him to our convention delegates, who are meeting in Denver over Memorial
Day weekend. I'm sure that if Dr. Paul expressed any interest in our
nomination or support, the delegates would consider that quite favorably.
We're very happy to see Libertarians becoming politically active due to
Dr. Paul's leadership and are certainly doing nothing to discourage that
grassroots support among our members.

The ironic thing
or maybe it is just sad, is that most of these "anti-establishment" punk/rock bands are all far left liberals/socialists. The government is evil, but their solution is more government. Liberals recognize the evil government causes, but unfortunately their solution is to replace the "bad" politicians with their socialist ones and they then think everything will be great, without for a second realizing we would all be better off with less government, not just different politicians.

but i'll tell ya, before i heard the good Doctors message, i thought hope was lost for America too. Maybe if their exposed to this guy they will change their minds. Most people who would be helpful in this movement would be stubborn going in by nature. We're critical minded people, it's what makes us intelligent. They need persuasion. We need outreach programs too that would be cool...
