Why are hot guys so stupid?

and most people find out who is a winner from the media. Trying to get through to people like that is like banging your head against a brick wall. In the end they will say whatever you want to hear just to stop talking about it. These voters are the ones who dont really pay attention to politics, they just keep an antenna up so they know who they need to vote for. right now those people are deciding either McCain or Romney. Unfortunately, America has been dumbed down enough so most people only keep one antenna up in the air so come voting time they choose one of the two that have been preselected by the corporate media.

Good luck with your brothers friend...lost cause. I suggest finding him a few years from now when the secret police show up to take him away for questions, and just say to him "I told you so". ;)

First of all, to those who say looks do not matter at all - you are lying and you know it. I hate that holier than thou argument. EVERYONE is attracted to some type based on looks, therefore everyone considers someone "hot" before they ever even speak to them.
This is an illogical argument of the liberal left.

Second: Just because I think he is "hot" does not mean that I will hook up with him - I would NEVER be with anyone who would EVER vote for McCain. He actually is a very nice person, but his stupidity has overruled any positive attributes. Actually, this is what really pisses me off about him - he is the only traditional family-oriented Irish Catholic guy left around here. Everyone else is an arrogant ass with no family values whatsoever. (Not that I'm into Catholics, as I disagree with Vatican II, but around here everyone is Catholic).

Third: My idea of "hot" is probably not the same as most people's. My taste would be considered politically incorrect.

Fourth: Sorry Floridians - I am a Northerner to the bone. I'll take 6 feet of snow and a wood buring stove over sunshine and Disney World any day.

Fifth: Here, on Long Island New York, I have yet to meet a truly intelligent person. As for hot guys - the public schooled ones all seem to be stupid liberals, and the Catholic schooled ones all seem to be stupid Republicans.

Sixth: I am not one of those girlie-girls at all. In fact I never even leave my house because I hate stupid people. I do not wear makeup, crap in my hair, or trendy clothing that would take a miracle to even fit into.

Finally, I do not judge people based on looks. I do base my friendships on intelligence. The whole point of my rant was that yes, this guy is cute, and yes, I liked him, and yes, he is a Republican so I had hoped to get him to join the rEVOLution. And he turned out to be a gigantic disappointment. So I was pissed :(

the 1st Bush legacy, that was played out on tv like a video game and I was so shocked that actual Christians were gung ho over this invasion, I do not refer to them as wars because they are not, they are invasions pure and simple. Anyway to address the title of this forum it is not just "hot " men that are stupid, it is a program that starts from baby boys to feeling that their gender is supposed to be "macho" and all that image that is forced upon them from everywhere including parents. The male population is not supposed to go very deep into their feelings, to feel fear, or at least not to express it, most certainly not to cry--who came up with this program and why? McCain is going to appeal to a program of fight, fight , wars, macho blah, blah for men and woman who do not understand what real strenght is about. For the men here that are able to cry about the injustice and senseless killings and look into your childrens eyes and say not you--those are the real men. Just my opinion but after all that is what we are left with. It has nothing to do with looks.

your pain. I had better luck ordering stuff at other sites. Give the slim jims out anyway when they come this country is headed for big trouble. People will eventually look around for someone who will lead, we want Dr. Paul in position to step in. Thank you for all your hard work. You are a young leader that one day I hope will run for office. This country needs people like yourself. Look to Dr. Paul as a role model. Can you imagine his fustrasion dealing with people and yet he seems so at peace. This is something it looks like we all could learn how he does it. My husband and I learned that by LISTENING to people and what is REALLY IMPORTANT TO THEM then show how Dr. Paul will help them. For instance, a man I know uses a lot of supplements and I showed him an article how they want to take most off the market and make does less potent. After he read the article he was white as a ghost. Hit them where it hurts then they are sold. For others the NAFTA or the NWO order my be interesting. Back up what you say with a print out of information this helps. Then it is good to let them be and think about things. You are an intelligent girl look for a fellow with some brains you will never be bored.

This is one behavior that I believe is truly genetic in nature. Handsome people get a free card, but a beautiful person with character is a real find.
This is a solid physical example of short term vs. long term thinking. Plus, this behavior rewards extremes. Attractiveness is a 'strength' that persuades it's beholders to accentuate their power, but smart healthy people last longer and fix themselves from the inside out, via exercise, diet and mental well being. The whole package is the real deal, but beyond that, which option would you choose?

The campaign has had a change of heart, I guess. My order was not delivered, not even put into the works. Finally got half of it after two weeks. Called to get the rest and was told--no problem. Come on over and get all you need. So the flood gate is open finally. The bottleneck is unplugged. I am going Monday and get the rest of what I need. This should have been happening from the beginning, but better late than never.

Secondly, you did a good job with the guy. He might have been just giving you a bit of a hard time. Send him the vid with McC saying 100 years. He can't call you a liar and get away with that. You have right on your side, so keep confidence--don't cry, that shows desperation and defeat. You will not be defeated forever because you are right. Hopefully your victory will come before the election.

Seriously though, I do agree with what you stated. Most physically attractive men tend to be completely clueless when it comes to promoting our basic liberties. Maybe that can be attributed to the failings in our public education sytem because the "dumbing down of America" is quite apparent.....

(BTW, I am a public school teacher who would home school if I were to have children. Sound hippocritical maybe - but true - yes. Although I work for the beast I tend to make changes while working from the confines within the system.)

My advice to you would be not to waste energy being upset by your brother's friend. Remember, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Many times all we can do is spread Dr. Paul's message and then go on to the next person- preferibly someone who has open ears and is more receptive to it. Nonetheless, one never knows where a seed was planted.

Sadly it took a week and half for me to get my slimjim. See if you got an email telling when they shipped, if you didn't they haven't yet. You need to call local meetups I'm sure someone has plenty of slimjims, especially if you are willing to do the work of passing them out.

I was going to hate this post because it was about a hot guy and blah blah.. whatever, I decided to stop judging and read the entire post and I have to say, YOU ARE SO RIGHT! About hot guys being stupid, but mostly about how people realized the deterioration of the Republican party, and the country as a whole and just don't care. This frustrates me beyond belief, and sometimes to the point of tears. I can't stand how people will sit there and say, "I know the government is looting our Social Security, and double taxing us but it doesn't matter because we need to defend our country from terrorists." then I remind them that IRAQ DIDN'T ATTACK US!!!!!!. They usually just ignore that. It's so frustrating. Also, I love when I hear, "I hate politicians, they're all the same." and then I start telling them what separates Ron Paul from other politicians. I bring up his consistent voting record, his wholesome family life, his being laughed at at all the debates because his stances are so very different from the other agenda driven dirt bags. Then they usually reply, "He's still a politician, and besides he has no chance."
You know the level of ignorance, and stupidity of the people who are not completely ignorant is immensely frustrating, and quite frankly it surprises me. I mean I know people are stupid, but this is ridiculous! You would think everybody would want a better America wouldn't you? I've decided if I win the lottery I'm buying an island, allowing only Ron Paul supporters to move there, and electing Ron Paul president of the island. ;)
