(Yes you guessed it, I went there) Still a HUGE paul fan and can not stand mccain. (Got to eat with ross perot one day at lunch when i was a midshipman though) He is alumni as well... FYI number 899 out of 899 was the anchorman and gets a buck from every one.

....I do not know your point or that of Paul4Paul; however, the implication is clear and that turkey won't fly. On the net are several headings (including one to a negative article about RP on Huffington) which say "what do you call a guy who finished last from the worst medical school." Dirty propaganda folks...and exceedingly stupid to boot. What kind of small minds and evil intentions would question Dr. Paul on academics!
Dr. Paul did not just graduate from any medical School, he graduated from DUKE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE. You don't get more prestigious than that. I don't know what his grades were, but I would imagine very good and he did that while supporting a family with several jobs and studying his new passion, economics. We are NOT talking run of the mill here and there is no candidate who can hold a candle to the man who also graduated with honors from high school and was a member of the National Honor Society. Obviously he did exceptionally well in college because unless your daddy's rich and well-connected (his wasn't) you don't get into "that" medical school unless you are head and shoulders above the pack. All of this is WHY there is a huge and growing number of Academics for Ron Paul. Honorable academics. No other candidate comes close. A kook? I do not think so.
Seek this lame slander out and take it out folks. I would take Saul4Paul any day rather than 12345678 or Paul4Paul type headings any day. How dare you attack in this way this brilliant man in this lame, offensive manner. I don't care how long you have been on this site, you disgust me.

He lost four planes before he ever set foot in Vietnam.
Then after being in Vietnam for only 30 days... he was shot down and spent the rest of the war as a POW.
If he were never taken prisoner he would have faded into obscurity, because he never would have distinguished himself as a Navy pilot.
Since he is beginning to tout his Navy career, I would really like to see his Navy records released, I'd be willing to bet there is a lot in there that McCain would not want exposed.
As far as his placing 894 out 899 at the Naval Academy... why would Americans want to elect someone dumber than Bush. Isn't that what we want to change by not electing more of the same?
McCain's Flight record
I immensely dislike McCain and his platform, but to fair, three of the five aircraft he lost where not his fault--One was a flame-out, another was on the deck of the USS Forrestal, that had suffered a horrific fire from a missile mishap that caused over 160 deaths, and of course, theplane he was shot down in over Vietnam. Still, his flight record as a pilot left a whole lot to be desired.
That said, he did have a spoiled brat attitude as the son of a high ranking admiral. With all the partying and carousing he was did as a cadet, only his father's influence that kept him from being thrown out of the academy.

I've also read that he was a very reckless pilot.
I tend to agree with your assessment on the flame-out crash
..but since I don't have all the facts, I decided to give the him the benefit of the doubt. But yeah, as you said, he was reckless, and demonstrated laziness in mastering flying.
