Iran currently has no internet or phone access, and all internet traffic to and from the Middle East is "Being rerouted through the U.S. and the U.K. to 'alleviate stress on the damaged cables'".
I seriously doubt the MSM will report on this, especially since the US basically has total control over all information coming out of the Middle East.
This is scary news!
I know the article says the cables were "damaged by an anchor" but I find it hard to believe that at least 3 (there are rumors of a 4th) cables have been cut in 2 days - all in separate locations. This reeks of sabotage to me...

I read these articles and I did more research. I wonder what all the candidates views are regarding an Iran Oil Bourse, how it would effect our economy and how would they deal with Iran on this issue. This would be a great debate question.

It's important, people just don't get it!
The worse the economy is, the more people will listen to Ron Paul. Flat out. So yes, this is vitally important... to get peope coming on to this site to understand that the economy is going south, and why. No other candidate can fix this. So in my own humble way on this thread I try to educate.
At the CPAC speech, RP has a brilliant section on
how the public is manipulated by fear fostered by the central government. He just nails things on the head time after time. That's why I am concerned on the economic crisis -- it's a powerful positive for RP but it is also a powerful tool to be used by McClintobama to promote more big protective government, class warfare, and socialism in general.
Information is a huge part if this revolution!
We now know what 99% of america doesn't. This is about people thinking for themselves rather than accepting what the mass media is feeding us.
This topic is extremely important to the revolution and has a place on this forum!!

A huge part of the Ron Paul platform
has to do with the economy and it may be the one thing that people will be able to connect with to vote for him. You have always posted with information that is well researched, articulate and have always been civil so what is the problem, while we see post on a daily basis with Saul 1, 2,3,4, or whoever he is continue to try to distract everyone and no one has much of a problem with it?

However, they are experiencing landline problems that have made them put off opening their oil bourse from the 11th of this month till the 19th, at least... that is the actual subject we are talking about... the dollar and oil.

When the Iranians open up the Bourse the NSA will be able to tamper with or block their transactions.
