In all honesty, it doesn't matter WHERE we win, as long as we win! The campaign needs a win, not just for us, but I think for Ron Paul too. One win will make this house fall down and people will be celebrating as if he won the Presidency! (ha!)
I live in North Dakota and I think I can agree with everyone on this thread who says that ND is a promising state for Ron Paul: He won a Fargo Forum poll a month ago, out of ND he's received the most donations of any Republican candidate, he's the only Republican candidate actually airing a TV ad (2, actually) before Super Tuesday, and he's visiting the state on Monday (one stop in the state capital of Bismarck and the other in the most populated city Fargo). So, yes, he should do great.
I was looking at the donations for ND and was pleasantly surprised!! It was kind of neat to see that RP would be at NDSU, also ... I went to school there. Just cool to have a little (however tenuous, lol) connection there :)
What is a win??? One thing I have learned in the last few months is that things aren't what they appear on the surface. I have learned that the majority of votes may or may not translate into voting delegates. For example, Arizona has a primary, but it seems to really be a statewide straw poll because the party committeemen and women are the real voters that count in determining delegates. Many of the caucuses we are watching are really just the first step in determining national delegates. In some states they are "bound" to vote for the primary winner, in others they aren't. Until the candidates can show a majority of BOUND delegates, the race isn't over. There will be Ron Paul supporters who, as delegates, are bound to vote for someone else initially. Other delegates may have expressed a preference for someone else, but could change their mind before September. Our job is to keep going. Dr. Paul won't give up until we do, and if we keep going ubtil September, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
For me, there is no one else. If in the end, I cannot vote for Ron Paul in November, I will probably vote Constitution Party or Libertarian, but I will not regret the time and money spent on behalf of Dr. Paul because America is a different place than it was a year ago. People are waking up to the true state of our nation and we will fight the globalists who want to control our lives. My children are learning about modern day patriots and that it is better to stand for something and be alone than to follow the rest of the sheep.
Thank you, Dr. Paul and everyone who is part of the Revolution for giving me something to hope for.
Campaign is the only one airing ads in states like Minnesota.
Also, watch West Virginia. Back in December it was reported that Dr. Paul had the most delegates to the West Virginia state convention.
Alaska and North Dakota are promising too. Montana would be a good state, but the electorate there consists of precinct committeemen, hardly ripe for a revolution.
I'm originally from Minnesota .... my hometown is about 3 1/2 hours north of the Twin Cities, 90 min south of Canada. My sister told me the other day that if not for me talking about him, she would have never heard of Ron Paul. A shame, really ... I know that part of that is due to the MSM blackout (my dad always points out to me: "They never DO cover him, do they?") and that Minnesota -- the northern part, anyway -- is largely DFL. If we are going to do well in MN it will be in Mpls-St. Paul. The Fargo (ND)/Moorhead (MN) area seems to have raised quite a bit of money for RP over other GOP candidates, according to Open Secrets, so hopefully that will help as well!
I'm participating in the Call-for-Paul tomorrow, and I've heard great things about this system.

Last I heard, RP was polling FIRST in Alaska. It seems as though he's going to do very well in North Dakota, also. I was on the Open Secrets website looking at the contributions by state -- I was surprised to read that in many areas of North Dakota, if I'm remembering it right, RP is the leading GOP fundraiser in that state, so hopefully that's a good sign!
Romney have his son campaigning for him here now and Ron Paul didn't sent anybody that connects direct with him, and I think it will make a big difference for people here in Alaska.
Where will we win? According to all of the polls I have seen; we will not come in first anywhere.
Utah will probably give us our highest percentage, although it will go for Romney. Other states, we look to do 3 to 10% -- according to polls. Hopefully they are wrong, buit they have been pretty close to date.
After Feb 5th; I think we will be taking a serious look at a 4th party run.
McCain appears to be ready to blow out Romney on Super Tuesday, and with his support, that will give McCain enough delegates for the Rep nomination.
We have a good shot at victory in Alaska, Montana and North Dakota. I wouldn't leave out Hawaii and Alabama. If we win Maine, we can win these states. And also do very well in Georgia, California and Illinois.
North Dakota has a chance
On Dakota Politics web site currently has:
Mitt 26.5%
Ron Paul 23.5%
Huck 12.7%
McCain 10.75%

Can't wait to take my family to Fargo on Monday to see Dr. Paul!!!!

A Win is a Win is a Win!

Missouri
Does anyone have any poll info for Missouri? As far as Republicans the only signs I have seen anywhere are for Ron Paul.
Washington and West Virginia?
I read some articles about fundraising and he was number one in West Virginia and not far off from Romney in Washington.
Check out this link:

This will let you select a state - you can see the donations for the entire state, the metro areas, and the top zip codes. It's pretty interesting!

Romneytron 3000 is sending
Romneytron 3000 is sending one of his sons out to Alaska? Seems like they have one for every state! Sheesh!
I'm working on my precinct
We'd like to win some delegates in California. We can do that precinct by precinct, I think.
