We need to put an end once and for to the war machine by establishing the right of the people to obey their conscience and freely give their lives in war only when they deem the cause just. There is no draft now, but there very soon will be. Then where will our sons and daughters be?

What will they do with all the people who refuse to be drafted? Put us in prisons or camps. I'm sure there will be oppostion. How can anyone fight for something they don't believe in? "They" will have a tough time convincing us that we are threatened after the stunt they pulled about WMD.

WWI was completely contrived - they sent the Lusitania to be sunk purposely in order to get us into the war; WWII was contrived; they knew the Japanees were going to bomb us and let it happen; indeed did all they could to provoke it. Vietnam was contrived; the gun boat incident that brought us into the war was faked and later confessed as much.
What right has a government that serves the interests of bankers and defensive contractors to send our sons to die in wars against countries that have not even attacked us? We need a liberty amendment NOW

The history of the English people did not allow for a draft. Kings relied upon their cause being just for men to rally; it was the Frech who drafted men and forced them to die in wars they had no interest in. If we are attacked, every good citizen will defend. But virtually every war our nation has fought from WWI through Vietnam have been contrived.

I live less than 50 yards from a Veterans' Cemetery, and it amazes me to no end when I see flat-stones of guys who were "WWII" with ranks like "PFC" but were about 35 years old during that conflict!!
