Screw the GOP
If Ron Paul does not win the GOP nomination, I hope he runs as an independent. If not, I will write him in.
The squawks will be, "But you will cost the GOP a chance to win and give the election over to Hillary!". To that I say, "GOOD! That's just what the GOP deserves." McCain, Romney, or Huckabee will be just as un-American and liberal as Hillary or Obama. They are all on the same side. If a Democrat wins, at least the Republicans in Congress will oppose her. They will support the SAME stuff proposed by one of the New World Order Republicans.
If I had to make a choice between being a Democrat and being what the Republicans are *supposed* to be, I would be a Republican. Since the Republicans are not what they are supposed to be, I haven't voted for one at the presidential level since Ronald Reagan, but I am unapologetically on the right side of the aisle.
Still, we owe the Republicans NOTHING (but scorn and contempt). They have not treated Ron Paul well, why should we do them any favors? They have kept him out of debates and kept his speaking time minimal at the ones he's been in. Somehow he is the one guy who always gets the bad microphone. They rudely chuckle while he's speaking. The voting inconsistencies always go against him. In fact, the three other guys still in the race conspired to steal Louisiana from Dr. Paul. Why should we make any effort to help one of them beat Hillary?
If Dr. Paul is not the nominee, I HOPE my vote for him helps the GOP lose in November. That's the ONLY way they can ever be convinced to run a candidate worthy of supporting.

Choose Ron Paul or CFR candidate.
What's to decide?
write in or libertarian?
Last cycle I voted almost entirely Libertarian, except for the Texas govenor. Wish I had not. If Dr. Paul says that he will vote libertarian, I will vote libertarian. Otherwise I'm up for a massive write in campaign.
But, it has to be massive. Otherwise, no one will notice. Most importantly, the revolution must continue.
I will vote for Paul
Dr. Paul is my choice for POTUS - regardless of who the parties prop up for the general election. If he isn't on the final ticket, I'll write him in. I will not be forced into a lesser of two evils choice. I will vote for my first choice no matter what.
I'm in
The GOP has said how great it is that all the new interest in the party. A mass exit by Ron Paul supporters ought to be sweet. When this fight is over lets set a date. steve
Yes, the Republican National Commitee is a CFR Tool, but....
Without question, the Republican National Committee (RNC) is wholeheartedly committed to advancing the CFR agenda at all costs like their counterparts at the Democratic National Committee. Even at the state and county level, there are those misguided leaders in the GOP that perceive Ron Paul as a threat.
From my limited experience as a Ron Paul district leader and caucus observer, I've found our county GOP leadership to be genuinely welcoming of Ron Paul supporters into the state GOP. Of course, our state GOP is so weak, any influx of new blood would be an improvement. There is so much apathy and disgust here, all of the GOP candidates (Ron Paul included) are having a hard time getting their supporters to show up to caucus.
In the two districts I coordinated, we could have won a lot more delegate seats for Ron Paul if just all of the known donors to the Ron Paul campaign had bothered to register with the state GOP, come out, and offer their services to run as a delegate.
Some think it's enough to just donate to the campaign and let someone else do the hard work of phone calls, canvassing, serving as a delegate, etc. Delegates, delegates, delegates, it's all about the delegates for the Ron Paul presidential campaign.
But the Ron Paul Revolution is more than Ron Paul the man, it's about his message of the Constitution and liberty. I recognize that many independents and Democrats registered Republican just to vote for Ron Paul in primaries and caucuses and will leave the GOP if Dr. Paul doesn't win. That's OK, I support their right to do so. There are many of us, though, that are trying to carry Dr. Paul's message of liberty to politics at the state and local level. It's practically impossible to do so as an independent or Democrat, so the local GOP is our best hope whether we like it or not.
Even the local GOP leadership here recognizes that most of the GOP faithful for all candidates will fade into the background once the presidential election is settled. Wouldn't it be a great legacy of the Ron Paul Revolution, regardless of the outcome of the presidential race, if we can place many Ron Paul supporters into positions of GOP leadership at the state and local level to keep Dr. Paul's and our dream alive?
Despite the fact that the RNC and candidates like McCain and Romney couldn't care less about the GOP platform, that's what motivates the base--a platform of smaller government, lower taxes, and liberty, which are values every Ron Paul supporter should be able to embrace.
Besides being elected as a delegate to the state GOP convention, I also volunteered and was selected as our state house district's representative to the state GOP platform committee and will take the values of the Ron Paul Revolution with me.
I intend to remain civil and support any and all local GOP candidates (especially Ron Paul supporters) that embrace our values of liberty, smaller government, lower taxes, and the Constitution.
Should Ron Paul not win the Republican nomination, I fully intend to write him in as my vote for president, regardless of whether there is an organized effort for a third party, Libertarian, or write-in campaign. Knowing the way the grassroots have organized, I will be disappointed if there isn't a web-based grassroots effort, either with or without the concurrence of Dr. Paul, to write him in for President (call it the Ron Paul Write-In bomb if you will.)
As Dr. Paul stated during the MTV candidate forum on Saturday, if the national GOP nominates someone who doesn't reflect the values of the base, the GOP deserves to be punished.
Because of the CFR influence, there will be little practical difference between a President Billary, Obama, McCain, or Romney (or even Huck because they're advising him.) If nothing else, a Democrat in the White House will somewhat humiliate the RNC fat cats and energize GOP opposition in Congress.
Without question, the RNC and establishment's willful mistreatment, misrepresentation, and disrespect of Dr. Paul is a national disgrace. I assume they have already written off the votes of Ron Paul supporters for the eventual CFR annointed GOP nominee, despite how few votes decided the outcome of the last few elections.
I would urge all Ron Paul supporters to withhold support of the RNC as long as they are blatantly anti-Paul, but on a case-by-case basis, please consider continuing to advance the ideals of the Revolution through local GOP organizations when the opportunity presents itself. Our state GOP organization hasn't endorsed any candidate and in fact, they have a link to the official Ron Paul 2008 web site on their home page, so "screw the GOP" isn't always an appropriate message.
down with
the gop. they brainwashed me for way too long.
Obama should be the real concern for Republicans
Why the hysteria over Hillary? Anyone the Republicans put up against a Hillary would win. There are enough anti-Hillary people that would vote for a conservative Mickey Mouse if the party put him up.
So the sheeple default to McCain. Who matched up with Obama, will be crushed:
OLD vs. YOUNG
WAR vs. PEACE
STATUS QUO vs CHANGE
Why the Republican's are so fixated on Hillary is beyond me.
I agree
Obama's stolen a lot of Independant and young voters. His name is spoken almost as much as Hillary's. Bush has pushed many voters away from the Republican party, and unfortunately they think Obama is the change to Bush. People look at Paul and automatically think because he's Republican he's just like Bush.
They simply don't know who Paul is because of the media blackout.
He's going to be a horrible President, but he's the most likely to win the whole shooting match.
How much money did he have in campaign finances? 100 Million?
And he's saying none of it is from lobbyists, even though Gravel proved him as a liar.
Monkeys?
I agree 100% with everything you have said!!! I hate all these monkeys equally but at least if a democrat wins they will be blocked from getting as much done by republicans in congress and the senate. If you ask me i would say we are totally screwed and all these candidates are certifiably insane. Its Ron Paul or nothing for me and for all of you too wether you realize it or not.
Okay everybody say the words with me:
"NEW WORLD ORDER"
This IS what will happen if Ron Paul does not win.
Third party will close the GOP...
If the GOP thinks a third party run by Ron Paul will cause them to lose, then they better start thinking about how they can draw his voters in instead of pushing us away.
Hell yes!
Ron Paul 2008, Join or Die!
DONT TREAD ON ME
AN APPEAL TO HEAVEN - WASHINGTON'S CRUISERS
Right There
with you!
Absolutely Correct
I feel exactly the same way. We owe the GOP bupkis
YES Screw the GOP!
... sweet!!!
I AGREE.
Bravo, BRAVO!!!
Damn right!
The GOP looks down their noses at us, pushes us aside, and if they wish we would go away, when we are more republican than they are, then I owe them no allegiance whatsoever. We are the biggest republican movement and the biggest excitement they have seen in a long time. To hell with them, they can either get on board with freedom or get out of the way. I will write in President Ron Paul.
Battlecry
Do You Hear The People Sing
http://www.youtube.com/wa...
I agree
At least with a Democrat as President, the GOP Senators and Congressmen MIGHT fight back, whereas with a McQueeg as President, we get most (if not all) of the Democratic agenda without a fight from the GOP.
You choose!
Let's Reign! (Rev. 5:10)
Paul more than just a candidate
Ron Paul is more than just a candidate, he's a symbol.
He is the last true fiscal conservative and represents what the party used to stand for, he represents the party platform. He is what the true Republicans want, if they only took a minute to look at his platform.
What we have here in 'front runners' of the Republican party candidates are a bunch of liberals. The real conservatives are at the base, but at the top you have the liberals because the liberals promise things to people they can't deliver.
The only reason Paul didn't win in our town is because no one thought he could win. It is the collective defeatist mindset that is going to end up destroying the GOP, the cause of it, Republicans seems to be obligated to push and vote for people at the top of the party. Regardless what they stand for.
The GOP deserve to be taken behind the tool shed and shot. They deserve to lose if they go with a liberal choice for a Presidential candidate. Prepare for open borders, more wasteful spending, and inflation to rise.
Just a good suggestion, buy gold and silver if Paul doesn't get the nomination, it will go to $2,000/oz or more if McCain gets the nod or a Democrat is in office. And if gold is at 2,000/oz, oil could go as high as $200/barrel, a gallon of gas could go to $6/gallon, and everything around you will get more expensive to the point that you may have to sell your house to live in a small apartment somewhere.
How would one do a write in
How would one do a write in if Diebolds are used? I think they use Diebolds so you can't put write ins.
Absentee ballots!
If your state uses Diebold, vote by absentee ballot.
Check with your state registrar
Most states have their registrar's contact info and voting guidelines online. If you can't find it online, call to ask, and also, suggest they post the information on their website so other people can find out about it as we approach the election.
Worst case scenario, this becomes a "Write in Ron Paul" campaign.
ASK
I'm pretty sure you can request a ballot for a write-in vote. If many of us do that, it'll send a loud message.
I wish Ron Paul had a protoge he was grooming for 2012 that we could get behind now. The Revolution would then have a good chance of success.
There must be a way
Can you request a paper ballot at your voting place? If not, vote absentee and request a ballot mailed to you.
Republicrats = Demopublicans
Yeah, its a shame Ron is even associated with the Repugs. Assuming they are successful at sabotageing Ron's campaign and Ron doesn't go third party there is still no benefit to voting Demoncrats as they are as evil as the Repug establishment. It literally makes no difference whether we suffer a Hillary, OBama, Romney or McCain presidency. They are all clones of each other. Therefore, I see three legitimate alternatives: 1. Don't vote. 2. Write in Ron Paul. 3. Vote Libertarian Party.

That's exactly what my boss said...
he said Ron Paul isn't going to make the Nomination therefore won't be on the ticket then his idiot son put's his 2 cents in and says it'll just be a wasted vote. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr I told my boss if he doesn't make the ticket unless the politicians ban the write ins I'm writing him in and as for his sons comment there is no wasted vote atleast not when your voting for somebody you truly believe in the only wasted votes I see are the ones that are letting the media dictate to them who is "electable" Those are the wasted votes. I'm with Ron Paul til the very end I'm voting for Ron Paul come the General Election, period and nothing can change my mind. Over the past years I have always voted for the lesser of 2 evils and finally I have been given the chance for a true Patriot, a true conservative, a true American and I'll be damned if I allow this chance to vote for a politician who's truly for the People vs the big corporations/lobbyists and special interests. Go Ron Go!!!

* Ron Paul For President *
I fundimentally agere
But I will vote for the Dem because I know I am getting war with any othe rGOPer other than RP of course.
Pleeeeeease do not vote Dem
Just write in Ron Paul!
I do not belong to a party.
If republicans lose in November, it's because they didn't vote for Ron Paul - that simple.
Republican and Democratic parties two sides of the same coin
Except RP. But the powers that be didn't count on him having support and sticking around.
Romney, McCain, Huckabee, Obama, and Clinton are not going to heal anything or reverse the destructive path this country is headed down.
If RP not the nominee, write in Ron Paul.
I understand your frustration & anger completely but ...
it is important to know that this is NOT about Dems/Repubs. In fact Hillary is supposed to win, that has been "their" plan from the beginning and it is on schedule so far. I repeat this has NOTHING to do with liberal/conservative these are false choices. The only real choice is a CFR backed candidate and a non-CFR backed candidate. Ron Paul being the only candidate NOT backed by the CFR.
While I will support Ron Paul regardless of party, in the long term the GOP must be taken from the Trotskyite (CFR) types who have stolen the party. There is a whole chapter in Ron Paul's book on this subject. This also is a goal of Ron Paul's.
Yep. The deck is stacked.
Gotta wonder why people can't see there is something fishy about all the other candidates having connections with the secretive CFR.
Even without the CFR thing, though, how can people not see that all the other candidates equal four more years of Bush or worse?
If RP doesn't get the nomination...
....and doesn't go third party, I will vote Libertarian. We all should.
write-in
I will write him in
150% Yes
My vote is for Ron Paul and Ron Paul only.
The lesser of two evils is still evil.
AMEN
Vote Dem... They will at least appear to end the war and reach out to the world and heal the damage done by the Republicans.
Under no circumstances can we allow a GOP person other than Dr. Paul to win.
I have no loyalty to the GOP either. Period.
After the way they've openly ridiculed Ron Paul on stage and in public, and if that isn't bad enough, look at the way the "Party" does a hatchet job on Ron Paul in the caucus and primarys. There has not been one GOP State Party that has delivered an accurate vote. The GOP is out to do Ron Paul in. They're actually worse than the Democrats! Example: Louisiana changed the rules with less than 24 hours to open because Ron Paul was overwhelmingly in the lead. I hate it that Ron Paul is even in the Republican Party. If the GOP spokepeople are the likes of Rush Limpbaugh, and Sean Hannity......I'll drop them like a hot potato if Ron Paul's not the nominee. I just wish Ron would side up with a very wealthy patron, who could fund the heck out of a thrid party run.
Agree
If Dr. Paul does not get the Republican nomination I predict the complete end of the Republican Party as we know it. After 8 years of impeachable leadership and then the nomination of a candidate completely at odds with American values and needs, the GOP will be the laughing stock of US politics.
I say a MASSive writing
I say a MASSive writing campaign to the GOP Chairs of every state. Tell them if they do NOT assist RP with media coverage and support that we will never vote Republican again, and neither will our children nor grandchildren, unless they run a Pro American, Constitutional candidate in the future, and NO other party is doing the same..
