Further to other falsehoods, global cycles happen. The earths polarity is shiftin and 2000 years ago they made wine in northern england. Look at the roman museums in england and you see they wore clothing akin to living in spain. sandals and togas. Bring it on.

Much to the dismay and dislike of my friends and relatives, I would send off an email on "global worming" every once in a while. Boy, I would get some flack. I would write about cycles and how we've had even warmer ones in the past. The thing to worry about is when the cycle changes back to one of cooling.
Well, now some scientists have pointed out that the sunspot cycle has ended and the sunspots have all but vanished from the sun - which will usher in much cooler temperatures over the next 30 years. One scientist even used the phrase "little ice-age". It will be much harder to feed people when things cool down due to the shorter growing season.
At least I won't have to look at stupid pictures of polar bears and penguins any more. They'll be doing just fine. I'll be starving to death in the cold while all the politicians and enviro-goons dance happily about in their long underwear.

Because the planet has not been warming for the last 5 years, as the chicken littles have prophecied.
Because Mars is "suffering" global warming. which gives a lot of credence for the sun to be the cause.
Remember, in the early 70's, the same global warming alarmists were the "coming ice age" alarmists...Why, green house gases. Look it up.
The whole point is global regulation and global taxes. Follow the money... Look at the actual "solutions" being offered up...

Humans don't live in a vacuum and do have an effect.
Long before humans were around the climate did some radical things extending many tens of thousands of years. Melting away all traces of polar ice caps in one extreme and covering modern Illinois with glaciers in the other extreme.
Some folks seem to have been drawn to an Ansel Adams photograph of nature and think that is the way it should always be.

Global warming is debatable, and to say otherwise makes it politics and takes it out of the realm of science. The scientific method is debate. No debate = no science.
I've never seen science and critical thinking so widely diminished as I have with the climate change crowd. It is politics though. Just ask Al Gore, he says the "debate is over".

My wife and I went to that Al Gore movie, and all I could think was "thank God that guy is not in charge!". What's amazing is, I actually think he believes it all, if so what a tool he is. I wish someone would just show him the CO2 chart to temp relationship reversal and make him admit that it was misleading the way he presented it. It is (I think) most certainly about the global tax and that's going to give us a more global government. I normally have a hard time with the buy food in bulk, conspiracy crowd, but the Global Warming Movement scares the snot out of me. It has about the same level of rational thought leading it that the Spanish Inquisition did. In fact there are a lot of similarity's between the two. The end of the world theme, guilt, punishment, superstition, centralization of power. I hope that the people who believe in Global Warming will understand that even if the world is going to end, and even your just trying to help me out. My rights still stand! Or at least they should have if the last four generations hadn't pissed them away.

The 'peer-reviewed' aspect of science is no longer viable. Too many monied interests fund studies which are pre-disposed to a certain result and the willing media help propagate these falsehoods. The politicization of global climate change is a very slippery slope. The hysteria already generated on a global level regarding 'global warming' is the result of a successful campaign from the powers that be to instill yet another 'FEAR' into the hearts of the general public. FEAR is the tool of our would-be controllers. Al Gore and his ilk are promoters of the idea that we are useless grocery eaters who need to be taxed for the simple act of respiration. My counter to the argument that we humans are causing global warming is to point out that Mars is also experiencing global warming...are we responsible for that as well?
I am proud to say that I once had the opportunity to shake Al Gore's hand...and I refused to do so while looking him straight in the eye. It was a great moment for me, to see that poor politician extending his hand to me and my facial expression to him of 'no way in hell, buddy!'

I live in Tokyo. I've lived here for 10 years. Yesterday we had a good amount of snow--the most I've ever seen in this city. This is the 2nd snow fall of the year. Tokyo rarely gets snow. Last year it didn't snow here until March. In February the AP news jumped on the story and said that Tokyo hadn't received any snow and it was the first time in a 100 years, or something, and blamed it on global warming.
They should have waited until the season ended. LOL!
The MSM is there to sensationalize events or to water them down... their news is a sham! Don't trust it....

Thank you. I'm very familiar with the Real News. I wrote this guy a 100 times telling him to do more for Ron Paul--the ONLY real anti-war candidate. It worked, I think, but only one segment and no mention about his war stance.
The people involved in that group do not want to hear about anything that doesn't subscribe to their liberal philosophies. To them, anything republican is bad and anything that is from their groups is good, period.
There is a HUGE debate amongst the science community whether global warming is man made or from the sun/solar flares. The sad thing is, that the oil companies happen to agree with the solar flare theory because it helps them stay in business. Right or wrong, there's a debate and the people of the world aren't hearing it.
Obviously, there needs to be a real debate on this issue. No BS and no bias... just 10 scientists from each side presenting data and debating it on national TV. After of course, let the people vote which side made more sense of this issue. This is the logical thing to do but we humans are rarely logical so this will never happen.
Science is always debatable and never black and white.
Two big issues come to mind when we discuss global warming. One was a mistake that was admitted and never corrected, and one is still waiting to be admitted as a mistake before it kills even more people. I feel global warming is headed in the same direction. We might never know the truth or find out too late.

Its not caused by people as is being told to everyone. Its being caused by the sun. Most of the planets in the solar system have seen an increase in temp.

Oh and by the way, I think the global warming and all those credits they are trying to leverage everywhere are the globalists scheme to both erode sovereignty and also tax the hell out of everyone and everything and regulate all activities. I don't know a lot about it yet, but the little bits I've read make me very suspicious. I find it very scary how those credits might develop into a way to control everything in our lives. Already environmental concerns are the leverage that international organizations use to implement their programs internationally and then to get through other agendas. The worst part about international organizations is that the U.S. constitution is one of the few and maybe only one that states that the people have inalienable rights and that the government is derived from the people. Other countries citizens get their rights from their government. So, international organizations do not have the same respect for inalienable rights that we supposedly do - they have a different mindset.

Global warming is only a part of the bigger picture of what is going on with the solar system. An aspect of the warming of the planet is the greater extremes of weather and temperatures that we are seeing around the planet that happens while the planet is entering a period of greater instability of weather patterns.

The anthropocentric-based "cause" of the global warming is only a small part of the cause of the global warming patterns--the human contribution is only a single-digits contribution at the most. And this global warming cycle is not a part of the normal warming cycles that have happened in the past--the present rate of change is off the charts of previous warming trends that have happened in the past.

It already has been observed that ALL PLANETS in our solar system are warming up or brightening massively in the past 10 years with no slow down in the increases of change in sight. Notice that...ALL PLANETS ARE WARMING/BRIGHTENING right now. Are there SUVs on all the planets? No.

So what is causing this? The solar system has entered a region of greater/increased energy and that is expressed in the increased sunspots, warming of the Earth, warming of Mars, the brightening of Uranus, Neptune and so on.

The earth is changing
and that's obvious but then again the earth never truly stays the same. It appears NASA has measured that Mars is warming up as well. I would think that it has as much to do with the sun in that case. Are humans ADDING to the effects? Surely we are. Do we need to usher in a global UN run carbon tax? No.
Btw, I don't know if anyone else on these forums so it the other day but here in San Fernando Valley, CA we had one of the most amazing Chemtrail days I've ever seen. About 20 different criss-crossed trails and the planes were still spraying.
These trails stayed in the sky and utterly turned into massive cloud cover. Very bizarre.
