The JBS is a non-partisan group
They won't endorse anyone running for office. Not out of fear, out of the respect for well informed voters to be able to make up their own mind. You better believe that anyone who reads their publication "The New American" is voting for Ron Paul and has known about him for years. I've been a member for close to 20. I'm 33 years of age by the way.

As an educational organization, The John Birch Society is un-surpassed as far as education of ALL the facts is concerned. Very few if any of the bad bills in congress escape the JBS's attention. You get news and info on congress, the state department, the banking/federal reserve system, foreign policy (from a Ron Paul type approach and perspective), the NWO (they filter what they can prove from some of the more wildly crazy and unsubstantiated conspiracy stuff out there so their credibility is spot on) and just about anything else you can think of. They have a wide array of weapons for you to use in the freedom fight. And, they have an organization in place to make things happen. The only problem is, they aren't a large enough organization... YET... I hope what I'm typing right now helps to correct that. Please consider joining. There is probably a chapter within easy driving distance of your home and if not, there is a home chapter option or you could even ask to start one.
I've been in this battle against the NWO for freedom for about 16 years and I can tell you that no matter which tangent you take, whether its fighting the NWO head on, or the destruction of our education system, the corruption of the dollar, the erosion of sovereignty, the dilution of our American ideals through illegal imigration or any other thing you feel is screwing up this great Republic, you'll find that the battle lines are drawn in the hearts and minds of the American people. The only way to inform, or change those minds is through education of those people. The JBS has the material and the setup to do just that. If you really think about what I just said and take any tangent you wish, you will find that what is required to correct it is not just one man, like Ron Paul (although he will help push the battle in the right direction a good long ways and for a good long time), what is really required is a majority of the people with freedom and liberty in their minds and hearts and a voting lever in their hands. And when you think it into that circular argument, the answer and the solution ALWAYS comes back to waking up the the sleeping giant of the American people through education. Always.
One more thing, You will find that the general philosophies of the JBS and their stances on the issues are, if not identical, are so nearly identical to Ron Paul's that the differences are indistinguishable. The JBS members to a man/woman are "Constitutionalists". Now where have we heard that word before??? Oh, that's right, Ron Paul called himself that....

They're a good organization. I don't think I'd go far as to say they lack courage. I think they have great courage for publishing the information they do. They depend on grassroots efforts to spread the truth but have been marginalized over the years, too. I guarantee you won't be disappointed for checking them out.

Yes. Among many other things, they publish a Conservative Index, which scores voting records of Congress and Senate members. They provide information about the bill and express whether it violates the Constitution. If it violates the Constitution, then they assign + for No votes and - for Yes votes. Ron Paul always scores 100%. They oppose NAU (yes, they acknowledge it exists) NAFTA, CAFTA and the UN (They have a "Get US out of the UN" campaign). Generally, they publish articles that expose the One World agenda of the CFR, Trilaterial Commission and our corrupt government. They've been doing this for many many years, and the things they wrote about several years ago are coming to fruition now. Great organization. Of course, our MSM call them kooks, too.

That kook part was the part I remembered and now I am thinking what is so kookie about them. I should not have listened to whoever told me that years and years ago. I should have joined them. They were drummed right out way back then. I'd say 30 years ago.

I have signed to receive notifications of petitioning my congressmen here in SC from opposing legislation that infringe on my rights of freedom. They are a great source and I am proud to be involved. I heard a rumor that they were a front for the CFR. I have no idea whether that is true or not. I have used their site to send letters to my Senators and Congressman, but not sure if they using this to lure in the rebels so they know who you are.

about the John Birch Society. I have been receiving their magazine (currently 'The New American') for years. They have done more to expose the internationalist that infiltrated our fedgov than any other organization that I know of. I would recomend ANY patriotic American subscribe to TNA, as the articles are informative, positive portrayal of historical figures and events of American history and extensive investigatory articles on current events involving our Nation. The magazine is fitting as a educational tool for ANY youth. They are not beholden to either of the political parties, being equally condamning of the corruption of both. For your information, other than the Nationalist Times, they are the only major American publication that I know of that has given Ron Paul any positive stories and exposure.
As for the organization itself, I know little of it, other than they sponsor and support educational seminars and youth retreats that aim at strengthining American ideals and beliefs, something that is just about non-existent in America anymore.

Research its history. Look at the books they sell. Look at the past issues of The New American magazine. You'll see for yourself that the rumor you passed is so far from the truth. If you like Ron Paul and what he stands for, then you'll like these guys, too. If you get your news in 30 sec sound bytes from the MSM, then I suggest you read some of the articles published in the magazine. You'll certainly get more information than you bargained for. They provide you with tools to hold your govt representatives accountable. And it will fire you up to keep the Revolution alive!!!
JBS- A John the Baptist for Our Revolution
...it's their revolution, too. They were decimated with racial and communist slurs years ago. It was so effective that many of us only remember something about kooks, shadow influences, etc. The allegations were 100% disproved after a state investigation. Statement was made that they had been totally slandered. But the rumors persist even to this day....IMO.
Meanwhile they are one of the beginnings of this revolution...behind the scenes...quietly and effectively EDUCATING people. Many of the things we have all read that woke us up was published by or disseminated by JBS. Read their history and be prepared to honor and thank these patriots. Read and learn how they have been so effective in educating as we have to do that also. However, we will not be behind the scenes, quiet. Old Media can ignore us, but they cannot silence us. We will never be silenced...turn the internet off and we will communicate meet-up to meet-up.
Anyway, thank to the JBS. Once you read about them and see how they were malaigned....you have a GREAT story to tell others in order to educate them about just how the masses have been misled by propaganda accepted as truth.

....meant to add that the "newletter" slander approach to Ron Paul (and let's NOT talk about it again) was pretty much the same approach used against the JBS. Almost cookie-cutter.
I bet a lot of the JBS 100%ers cringed remembering their history....and now are cheering as Ron Paul continues to rise above any attempts at slander and continues to publicly educate the masses and draw in Patriots for freedom one by one...or two by two.
