SECRET TO GETTING THROUGH THE PHONE LINES AT A TALK RADIO SHOW

First, find all radio talk show phone numbers by time/state here:

Dial the talk show phone number when you hear that the caller who is currently on the air is about 5 seconds from the end of their call (EXAMPLE: "ok, thanks, {DIAL NOW!!!} that's all I wanted to say"...). Then a NEW LINE COMES OPEN. Why 5 seconds? The show is about 5 to 10 seconds ahead of what you hear on the radio. This is so they can bleep out out if you use a bad word.

Also, hit redial as many times a you can tolerate. It might take 5 or 20 redials to get through.

Third, if you succeed in getting to the call screener try to avoid telling them you support Ron. Save that for the actual on-air call.

I'd say something like "I'm upset that the Republican frontrunners are a pair of liberals". Most hosts/screeners don't like either McCain or Romney so you stand a chance. When you get on the air mention:

McCain:
1. The McCain-Feingold Act,
2. Amnesty for illegal aliens,
3. considered as a VP candidate for the Democrats,
4. almost switched to Democrat party (Tom Daschle's book)

Romney:
1. Installed Hillary Clinton style health care system in Mass.
2. Flip-flopper on many issues
3. Cartoon banned by Mormon church on YouTube.com

...and that's why I'm voting for the only REAL REPUBLICAN in the race, RON PAUL. I don't care what his poll numbers are. RON PAUL is the best Republican candidate and that's why I'm voting for him"

Plus I like the idea of borrowing one of Rudy's tools,to smack his buddies over the head with.....or promote RP which can be dangerous...you'd better be prepared either way.

What did you tell them? And what was the reaction?

Don't read them over the air, just use them to keep your place.
These guys are professionals, and know just how to throw you off track.

I even got on The Mark Levin Show (hosted by Curtis Sliwa). This show is heard on over 130 stations by four million listeners.

Be positive in your call (don't bash Bush, don't criticize U.S. foreign policy, don't get off track). Stay focused on the big positive points of Ron Paul even if the host tries to throw you off course.

Just say "I'm sick and tired phony Republicans, I want a real Republican, a guy that wants to reduce government spending, eliminate the income tax and have the American military serve the United States not the United Nations, That's why I'm voting for Ron Paul."
