International Assistance - Is This Possible?
Submitted by ColdFusion on Mon, 02/04/2008 - 13:25
The United Nations has, many times, monitored/overseen the elections in many democratic countries when they were asked for assistance in assuring a fair process.
Does anyone know what it would take to get the UN to oversee our elections?
They show up in all kinds of other elections, in other countries, so why not ours?
I'm sure there are more than enough member nations that would approve such a request.
Where do we start? Open letter printed in a full page ad in multiple newspapers around the world? Or is it something that has to be done in a more 'official' capacity?
If the entire world, through the UN, were looking over the shoulder of every election official - keeping track of fair election processes - doing their own testing of voting machines.. we might just get a fair election in November.
Am I completely off course here?

Am I completely off course here?
Yes. This whole fight is about maintaining our sovereignty and not allowing it to be managed by the global elite..

Vote RON PAUL 2008
honey
...you had better read up on who and what the U.N. really is,,,,a very corrupt and evil center of world control........dont believe me........do your research....i dare you
Not possible
Sorry, we need to resolve this issue ourselves. It is our sovereignty and our rights that are being trampled on. Besides the UN is corrupt and started by the elitists. They will make sure we have someone in that will go along with the plan. We as America people need to get together and force the issue. From what I heard about Maine, they still have open voting. The rest of us need to follow their example about it being open. Get rid of the machines, we are still educated enough (hopefully) to be able to count! I'm surprised that there has not been more people bring up this issue and forcing more paper ballots and more open counting. I'm surprised at how much the voting process has been hidden from the public! Yes I'm upset at myself for not finding out more before now, but I'm changing that and learning. We need to learn about this process and start making changes so we can have open honest voting.
Ah.. yep. I see the points
Ah.. yep. I see the points being made here.
But, along those lines, is there something that can be done? Maybe not the UN.. but how about a grassroots commission, with 'delegates' from all parties involved?
Get a bakers dozen people from each state, from each party running. 13 Republicans, 13 Democrats, 13 Independent, etc. Put them 'in charge' of monitoring election results and procedures.
I know there are already people in these positions through the Government. "Election officials" that have the job of doing all this. But we all know that they either dont do it, or dont do it right.
Kind of like a 'citizens oversite committee on elections'.
I don't think there are any laws prohibiting the citizens of this country from creating groups to monitor the government, in any capacity they choose.
Plus, if this idea were 'shunned', if the request for a fair and proper election were turned down - maybe more people would wonder 'why?'
Dunno.. just tossing out ideas here. I'm trying to think of a way to make sure the elections are run fairly when November comes.. without having to form militias to stand guard over all election materials and voting areas.
I guess they could monitor
I guess they could monitor our elections and their troops could rape or seduce a few minors while they were stationed here.
Don't get me wrong
In a perfect world, if America is just a little off, and the UN actually did what it was chartered to do, then yes, this would be a good idea.
However, the corruption is a little more widespread than that, so although it is good in theory, in practice, it would be a bad thing.
American sovereignty
Yes you are off course. That's giving some American sovereignty over to the U.N. It's putting a non-American organization governmental control over American elections. Paul would oppose this for sure.
Yeah, I think you may be off course.
Ask yourself why would the UN, the UN whose charter supercedes the US Constitution, the UN who are the benefactors of the NWO movement, want to make sure we have free and fair elections here in the USA.
Just a thought.
Good thinking
But that kinda scares me too. Can we trust the UN?
Problem
NWO... so asking the UN to watch the votes is the same as asking Hillary to count them for us.
