An idea for us to see how many of us there are for ourselves!

Let me first explain why I have come to this solution or thought of this idea. As I go through each day bombarding myself with Ron Paul info, I find myself wondering aloud "How many people really ARE Ron Paul supporters?" I ask myself this because many polls (which we know most are rigged to work against us, or trivialize us or confuse us) are not allowing us to physically see or TRULY gauge how many supporters we have. I have thought of a way to try and see.

Its kind of a two-parter. I would like to pick a day, with enough advance warning to get the word out ofcourse, where every Ron Paul supporter wheres a BLUE SHIRT (or whatever color) . But ofcourse that alone wouldnt be enough(since someone might just have a blue shirt on just because. So the second part would be to flash a sign..im thinking the Peace sign. We'll call it: RON PAUL BLUE SHIRT DAY. (as soon as you label something it gets press)
So it would work like this ..I see you wearing a blue shirt and think to myself..hmmm Ron Paul supporter? or just a guy in a blue shirt blue shirt? So i flash you the peace sign and if you flash it back .. I KNOW! I, personally, am gonna shout out "RON PAUL WOOHOO" at that point, but thats not the necessary part. Atleast then we'll get an idea for ourselves about how strong our numbers are.

I am feeling the need to physically and personally see through the mass medias ignoring of Ron Paul and find out for myself what i already believe: That we are the majority and growing. They are telling us he's at 6% but im just not buying it. It would be a cool thing and i think it would bring a lot of us together that otherwise might not. Imagine the number of conversations it would spark between people on that day. People in line at a store or at a gas station who otherwise might not even look at each other, let alone say hi or discuss political beliefs, might, no matter how brief, say Go Ron, or they may even get into a discussion. New friends might even be made. A side benefit will be for others to see a sea of blue shirts and feel the real power of our movement. It would definitely be a fun day!

The power of the people and the decentralization of Ron's campaign(as he says) has made me believe that all of us could do something and I want to make this happen. Every event is ,..well...another event right? The more the better. Guy Fawkes Day, Tea Party'07, next Blue Shirt Day.. and hopefully many more people come up with ideas too. We have to get/keep his name out there as much as possible. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for setting up the teaparty'07 and am ecstatic about how it went.

As i stated i dont have any webpage skills but, quite honestly, it seems to me you would only need one page with the text explaining the concept along with the chosen date. If you feel in any way that this could be a viable idea please contact me and I will cover any and all costs for the server space. www.blueshirtday.com sounds pretty sweet to me! It will either happen or it wont. Im humbly asking for your help. Please contact me at the number below, if only to answer a few questions to steer me towards someone who can help me if your too busy or not interested. Thank you.

what if 90 percent of the people are wearing blue?

Then we'll know something's up. I might
make it a little more specific then
just a blue shirt. How about
blue shirt/plaid pants day. Just kidding.

But really I do wonder if one more
item in addition to the blue shirt
would help. On the other hand
the vagueness will no doubt
stimulate Ron Paul conversation
amongst people who were
wearing blue but had no idea
it was "blue shirt day".
