Somebody please give a run down of how tomorrow will likely go and the direction the RP Campaign will likely go after tomorrow?
Please describe how you think it will go tomorrow, why, and how these estimates may or may not play out with the RP Campaign. Where do you see RP after tomorrow (depending upon tomorrow's outcome) and what do you see the RP campaign doing after tomorrow and in what direction do you see the RP campaign going after tomorrow? Just how important or how critical is tomorrow's outcome for any of the candidates (espechially Ron Paul)??? Any estimates? Anyone?

No matter what happens today
No matter what happens today we need to focus on the remaining states. I mean we need to make sure everyone in the remaining states get a Ron Paul news paper and are canvassed as well as adds purchased. I feel like we missed out on some great opertunities. I for one think with more time I could have achieved much more for Paul. Lets act now on the remaining states and not let time pass us by and be wishing like I am not that I had more time to get the word out. Cancass everyone, leave no one behind!
Every-time there is a
Every-time there is a primary or a caucus and we don't fair well, there is so much disappointment and confusion. Every-time those that 'know' have to reassure those who haven't heard.
Here it is again:
We are in the very early stages of the most amazing time in history. We are at war! The election is still in the very early stages. After Super Tuesday we will still have 20 (or so?) states to go. **Even if Romney or McCain won every delegate on the 5th, they still will not have enough to win the nomination. So even after the 5th we will still have much to do.**
Our Commander Paul has givin his order to the troops. Spread the message, sign up to take your precinct, donate. This is the build up of his army. Rally, get support, sign people up to our battle. Why do you think most of Ron's time has been spent at rally's? He is pleading to his supporters to keep up the fight. He knows the message is best served through us and he is right.
After the 5th the Commander will make his move. When our army is large and powerful, then the battle begins!
Have hope, believe, and know this is true: We can win! This battle has been planned and designed by masters.
If you haven't done so sign up on ronpaul2008.com to receive Ron's e-mails. They are encouraging. Also read the some of his previous letters.

I my opinion the Maine results are very close to what we will see Tuesday. Huck is done after tomorrow as he has hit a wall and Romney even asked him to drop out this past weekend so we should be down to 3 very soon. The press is frantically trying to make it seem like McCain has already won it but he just can't shake Romney who I think will do the best with Dr. Paul a solid 3rd. It is going to be very interesting to see what happens in Texas Mar 4
Where did you hear Romney
Where did you hear Romney asked Heck to drop out?
Like others have said
What Happens tomorrow:
Like many previus posters on this thread have stated -- he is not going to win anywhere --- according to the polls that have been right on so far.
Where he finishes:
It will be interesting if he can beat Huckabee for third in a few states. Should in Utah, and a few others -- I sure hope so.
Final results:
Hopefully an average of 10% of the popular vote/caucus vote -- hopefully not closer to less than that -- although FLA was a bell weather state that hopefully will not be a sign of things to come.
What Happens to us tomorrow night:
22 primaries and caucuses tomorrow. 22 major losses will be tough on all of us. 3rd place will be viewed as good by some -- but this does not win a nomination. All talk of a brokered convention will be over by tomorrow or Saturday if McCain wins in CA and Romney drops out.
Where we go next:
As supporters realize all realistic hope of getting the Rep nomination is gone -- then talk of a fourth party drive will mount. Ron will either run 4th party or not. With the Constitution Party nominating convention in April - and the Lib party in May -- Ron will have to make up his mind soon.
Texas has their primary on March 4th (or 3rd) -- he will have - I think have to drop out of the Rep primary there -- so he can be on the November ballot for either Const. or Lib party ----- Texas -- they say -- has a rule that you cannot run for Presdient under two different parties. Meaning if he runs as a Rep in the Tex primary, then he would not be allowed to run in Nov as 4th party.
If he not run 4th party:
We need to find a candidate for the Constitution Party -- and Veep slot that have fire in their belly, -- and that surround themselves with staff that know how to win.
If he runs 4th party:
He needs to bring in people that have won elections before. The current crop of his friends (campaign leaders) -- that he has known and worked with -- for over 20 years -- are good people -- but they are clueless on how to win an election -- as back in 88 when they received 1% of the vote --- and now in 08 where they average 5% of the vote -- and 30 straight losses -- they need to be tactfully reassigned.
November outcome:
In a four way race -- hopefully Bloomberg runs -- We have hope. But Ron needs to run a real campaign. Including a real deal Veep that will bring in money and votes.
You probably oughta ask in a
You probably oughta ask in a day or so.

The New Direction
Tyranny, the oppressive rule, to oppress, to be harsh and unfair and cause stress and anxiety. You can call it the NWO or Elite or whatever you would like but in the end it is still tyranny. We are in a battle against tyranny but I tell you this we will win because we have truth on our side. Take it back inch by inch the same way freedom has been taken from you, inch by inch. The truth will set us all free one inch at a time, the seeds of truth we plant today will be the Tree of Life of Freedom that we cultivate tommorow. Tyranny never sleeps and nor do the pure of heart and nor does the patriot. Ron Paul in it for the Long Haul.
Today is like no other day, like no other time
We in our hands hold the future
Those who know understand.
This is not physical war, that needs to be won
by physical means, using weapons or arms
This is a battle for the minds of human beings We have been decieved into believing we are different
but we are all the same, human
you may lable yourself by your religion or your country or your town
but in the end we are all human
in the end we are all connected
everyone is someone to someone else
A mother a sister a brother a father an uncle an aunt
a grandma a grandfather
we are all someone to someone else
We have been decieved by illusions, by words and symbols
That is the magic and power of those things
They are here to divide you
Yet under all those lables lies a human soul
..
There are radical muslims as well as radical christians
as well as radical blacks and radical browns or yellows
but we must not fear eachother, because this is what divides and kills
all of us. A person should only be judged by there character. That is an American Value.
So we must ask ourselves in who's interest is it to divide us?
For those that know the answer, what can you do?
Your out numbered, out gunned, out financed
So how can you possibly win?
I tell you this, you will win
because you have something on your side that they do not
The Truth
and it takes 100% more effort and work to hide the truth
than to spread it
and if you understand how to use the truth
it will truly set us freeWe like a million army ants will arm ourselves with the truth and spread it
to every ear, to those that will and those that will not listen.
We will repeat this truth over and over again a constant drumm of the truth
So many times and so tirelessly that it will be inherantly understood by the many It wont take one person it will take millions, all doing there part fighting deception with truth. We must take responsibility for ourselves.
The so called MSM has nothing to do with this and if you believe they do
you are wasting your time. Concentrate on what you can do to open as many eyes as possible, fore we are planting seeds that will one day fruit into a renewed freedom that will lift all of mankind from the current debt slavery system.
You know at some point they told MLK that he should just sit down and give up but he didnt and now we have seen change. Somebody once told Ghandi that India would never be free of colonial rule, but he pressed on and free'd his people from the hands of oppression. The thing we do not see is that it takes people to band together to bring
change. For those who are discouraged because of the result we are seeing with ron paul, don't be. Because this is not a sprint this is a marathon, change always is. Stand up and do your part, because you are Ron Paul, I am Ron Paul, we are all Ron Paul because it is the message that we are, not the name or the man We are the bringers of Freedom and we will be rememberd for our endeveours, I would rather die for something than wither away a submisive slave to a system that I know was designed to enslave me and my fellow Americans. I will not walk quietly into the night I will spread the word, consider us all a bunch of Johnny Apple Seeds and our seed is the truth.
From these seeds will grow a mighty people a mighty world
but it starts here all you have to do is believe you can we must band together with the message as the glue that unites us all.
It starts here today and we must do our part
Spread as much information out as possible
you dont have to change the world
but you might just spark the mind that will I ask you friends fellow human beings
do your part just a little eachday
and like the tiny termites take down a giant tree
we will work together to change the future
for our children, they deserve a better world than what was
left to us and like those who sacraficed in the past
we must define our time by changing the future

Because we are not europeans, we are not asians, we are not africans, we are not latin, We are Americans, which means we are all of those things, living where a man is not judged by the his religion or the color of his skin but only by the content of his character, the constitution was designed to protect all of humanity
with Freedom and Liberty only restrained by the rights of others, and directly formed in opposition of Tyranny and those who would choose to centralize power in a tyrannical fashion, which leads to corruption because centralized power is absolute and absolute power corrupts absolutley, that is why our constitution is the most powerful legislation on the planet, because it protects us from our own falable nature. Stand up for Freedom, one inch at a time the seeds we plant today will only strengthen the tree of Freedom tommorow!

Honestly
Here's a list of states we could potentially do well in:
Alabama
Alaska
Colorado
Illinois
Minnesota
North Dakota
West Virginia
and by potentially do well, I mean 3rd place... possibly 2nd in Alaska... no first place anywhere.
I would estimate we'd be lucky to pick up 50 delegates total.
After tomorrow expect major disappointment. But we're not in this race to win states... we're in this to fight it out at the convention. Also, many of the delegates for Super Tuesday States will not be decided on until May, so there's still hope.
Do not expect to win tomorrow. Prepare for devastating defeat, and most importantly, do not let your support wain. Dr. Paul is in this race as long as we are.... so we have to stay with him until the end.
Here in Springfield MO
We have ran commercials to run on Feb 5th we have been running newspapaer ads. We have ran an ad in a farm magazine that has gone out to every farmer in missouri. We have 5 billboards that have been up the entire month of Jan. which will be seen at least 9 times by 25% of our 1/4 of a million people in our town. we have precint leaders in about 1/4 of our whole county. These precincts have been completed plus over the last 4 months before the precint leader was even adopted we have canvassed about 1/8 or our city. We have done gobbs of parades all over our county all summer long. We attended every festival that we could find. We have done every gun show since the beginning of summer till present. We have one gun show a month. We participated in the National Paint the town Ron event and hung around 300 Banners which brought in about 60 people to our meetup in two weeks. We have done sign waving and actually came up with the idea of the national sign waving event "Will work for freedom". There are many of our group who have made Youtube video's. We have a Ron Paul store with Signs shirts hats buttons bumper stickers every kind of slim jim there is and many diffrent flyers. We have hung 79 4x8 Ron Paul signs in the last three weeks. Last night we had almost 40 people go out and put yard signs at every precints voting location in our county. There is not one McCain sign at any of the voting locations that I covered (that would be 36 voteing locations). Huckabee had signs at it seemed like every school but not one sign at any of the church locations (hes pretty confident with the Christian vote so why waist the money). Mitt had signs at about 1/4 to 1/2 of the voting locations and has started placing them by roadsides. Of course every time I see his if there is one of his I place two. If there is two I place four ect. there is not a mitt romney sign in my neighborhood that doesn't have twice as many Ron Paul signs surrounding it. By 7 o'clock last night McCain and obama ads where running it seemed like every other commercial. It was sickening. I'm glad I left to hang RP signs. So It seems McCain is counting on the media and Huck on the Chritian vote (which is big here there are 4 denominations HQ's here). Mitt is counting on his money and his perfect hair and Ron Paul on his grass roots (he has not come to Missouri (he had a rally in KC early last summer before alot of people got on board). All the other candidates have come to Missouri since Florida. We also have many people who will show up at our caucus in march to become delegates. We are a winner take all state so thats bad. But we are supose to have thunderstorms all day today and snow around closeing of the poles. Lets hope the snow moves in about 6 hrs early and kills the afternoon vote. I will be working my voting location all day and bringing in the vote. If they don't show up I'm calling them if they don't answer the phone I'm going to their house and getting them. One way or another the people who told me Ron Paul had their vote will go to the poles or I'll drive them crazy till they do. LOL! Thats how Southwastern Missouri is going. Let it not be said we did nothing. Its all in Gods hands now guys.
A tip of the hat to true_believer!
I hope everyone reads this description of great grass-roots activism! Freedom is not only popular, it stimulates people to work hard and creatively! You have to be impressed with the energy and dedication of Paulunteers in Springfield, MO!
This, and the post last week from Broward County, Florida, about the importance of door-to-door precinct canvassing TO ACTUALLY GET VOTES, are the signposts on the pathway to power. The nomination may or not be said to be "clinched" tomorrow (probably by neo-con McCain)---but I hope we all take a "Ron Paul Jones" attitude: We have just begun to fight!
And we are learning as we go. The energy of this campaign comes in large part from novices, amateurs, first-timers. Those of us with a few years of politicking behind us, need to explain that you can't give up or get discouraged by defeat or by a series of defeats. Perseverance is one of the greatest virtues in political effort, as in all of life!
Here in Minnesota, Dr. Paul has enough already recruited support to run a pretty strong fourth. Will there be turn out from citizens who haven't signed up with the campaign but want to join in at the caucus? It is hard to say---overall, it's just really hard to get new people to take the time and trouble to go to a caucus (the locations are not well known.) there is a strong state ground game here but Huckabee also is going to do well due to church mobilizations for him. The other two guys are the "Establishment," which tends to help with habitual caucus-goers. U.S. Senator Norm Coleman (a former Demcocrat) put his chips on Rudy G., LOL!
Pretty well, I think
Down here in CA-48, I would expect Paul to either win and place, at least based on bumper stickers, signs, and rallies. That's 3 potential delegates for Paul. If he can win a few more congressional districts in Northern California, he should get another 9 delegates. In California alone, we triple the amount of delegates to the national convention. In addition, Paul has raised the most money in Alaska, Montana, and North Dakota, so a win in at least one of those states wouldn't be a surprise. Offhand, I would guess that's another 15 delegates at the very least. So, overall, I would expect us to go from 6 delegates to 33 tomorrow.
As has been said, this is a marathon
I for one, want Dr. Paul to keep in the race. He must go to Minneapolis-St.Paul this September and bring his positions to the Republican platform for the sake of the R3vo_lution. Every day he gains new supporters. And as long as he has funding, I hope he will arrive at the convention to bring the R3vo_lution's message to the GOP platform.
My mother just called and said that Bill O'Reilly included Paul's campaign in his review of campaigns tonight, suggesting that he will do well in the states where he can gain percentages, where the state is not winner take all. Since I'm no longer watching Faux news I was surprised. And especially that O'Reilly was objective, not disrespectful of Paul.

Feb 9th: Kansas, Louisiana (again), and Washington
The assistant campaign manager laid out their strategy in an email today. After the primaries and caucuses, they will work to get Paul supporters elected as local, state, and finally national delegates. And in North Dakota, Dr. Paul told the press he'd stay in the race not based on how he places, but on whether his support is growing.
So I think he's clearly headed to the Kansas and Washington caucuses on Saturday, and to the Virginia, Maryland, and DC primaries next Tuesday, Wisconsin on the 19th, and of course Ohio and Texas on March 4th. Along the way they'll fight for national delegates at the state conventions in Louisiana, Maine, and many other places.
What election is tomorrow???
I'm in Idaho....I keep seeing that we are to vote for RP tomorrow. That is the democrats caucus. We don't vote until May 27! Clue me in ok. There seems to be a lot of confusion out there.
Tomorrow is the Super Tuesday states...
Something like 20 or 21 states will be voting. I do not think that Idaho is one of them. But then I am not even sure how important tomorrow is or how it will effect the other candidates - and more particularly so the underdogs Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee?

Just vote and hand out flyers where you vote. Don't worry about the results. They have a way of handling themselves. The campaign is on top of that stuff. This is a marathon.
Soon there will be state conventions
Some of the states where he has won delegates will be having state conventions. I hope he'll be speaking there.
I imagine the campaign doesn't want to tip their hand.
IMissLiberty
Ron Paul will do well. Tomorrow isn't IT.
Tomorrow is just another day but we will be pleased with the result.
You must look beyond tomorrow.
Ron started as being clearly different to any candidate.
Now most candidates look a little bit like Ron.
He is blacked out on OM, newspapers don't news him.
But every day he grows.
Please read my post,

and see where we are going and why we are going to win.

Watch and feel the power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully no one will get
Hopefully no one will get close to enough delegates and the same with the upcoming primaries.
This way we will have a brokered convention. Ron Paul's only chance at the nomination.
Thank you
So you don't think any of the other candidates will pull in enough delegates for a true win?
Numbers wise it's impossible
Numbers wise it's impossible tomorrow. Therefore, I'm hoping it's more evenly divided, so that it gives neither of the front runners the edge going into the remaining states.
This will force a brokered convention.
Thanks again
But would you be willing to break down a little more how a brokered convention might go or what it is? I'm not 100% sure that I even understand what a brokered convention is or what it would look like? Please explain in more detail and please excuse my lack of unfamiliarity.
Brokered convention
Most states send delegates that are legally bound to vote for a certain candidate in the convention.
At the convention if no candidate gets more than 50% of the vote, suddenly there are no binds.
Delegates can vote however they wish, candidates give speaches to win over delegates from other candidates, babies are kissed, deals are brokered, etc etc.
Everybody votes, and revotes as many times as it takes tilll ONE candidate has more than 50% of the vote. This could be a VERY difficult process and there are a large amount of serious conservatives there who want nothing to do with McCain, and other conservatives who want nothing to do with Romney, and some who want nothing to do with either of them.
Thanks. But, now, at the convention do they include the votes...
...that is, the "delegates" that the particular candidate has already pulled from the other states such as Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan, Florida, etc.??????? Do they count all that in with the convention tomorrow or do they only tally up the total delegates of the 21 states that vote tomorrow???
We don't have a crystal ball
What we have is a game plan. Do you think the Giants knew how the fourth quarter was going to go? We are a tireless team, comitted to a revolution and to each other, to return our great nation to the principles that started it. It's not even half time.
True...no crystal ball... but...
the Giants were doing very well at half-time - at least they appeared to be. But then, they "appeared" to be doing well because their appearance could be seen and viewed by millions. Fox and the others have NOT allowed for a whole lot of people to see and view Ron Paul, like they did the Giants last night. Because of this, most people are now either for McCain or Romney. And "appearance" wise, Ron Paul does NOT look as good right now in such a way as did the Giants at half-time. That is why I ask what people think - about tomorrow and where RP now fits in. I guess I am looking for others' opinions as a means to getting even a simple idea how he might do since the MSM has cheated him so badly. By the way, speaking of game plan, what specific game plan do we have? How might it play out after tomorrow? How will tomorrow effect it?
