Just got back from voting....
I don't know about everyone else, but that felt AWESOME to cast a vote for an actual candidate I like rather than the lesser of two evils.
Ask yourself this:
How much better will you sleep at night knowing that you cast a vote for someone you actually want?
How much more peace of mind do you have that those who have switched from Giuliani to Huckabee to McCain?
I am a first time voter because I had never run across a candidate that was electable and I'm not a "lesser of two evils" guy.
I didn't expect that voting for the right candidate was going to feel this good.
One thing's certain. The Ron Paul Republicans will sleep well tonight.

Today is a great day!
Just a little bit ago I cast the most important vote of my entire life, For Ron Paul, in NY and it felt great. Then later today, we've got the Superbowl Winning NY Giants ticker tape parade. Today truly is a great day. (it remains to be seen how tomorrow will be though.)
What a comical morning....
Often I find a parrallel to my life and that of The Simpsons, or even The Family Guy. After all the campaigning, donating, holding signs (I was out on one of the busiest streets in Savannah till 7:30 last night). And you'd think I'd have all the details worked out. but nope I had something made up in my mind even though my wife has been telling me otherwise for the last week...
Well for one I was DEAD WRONG on where the voting center for my precent was. Even though I had heard "Salvation Army on Bee Rd" a million times in my head I somehow had it fixed in my brain that it was actually someplace totally different.
Thank god that my wife and I went together because we were arguing on the way to the office only to find out she was right and I was dead wrong....Story of my life.
In the office all the volunteers were VERY nice and in a good mood. I went in filled out a sheet, got my card, check "Republican" and put my vote in for Ron Paul. I did not see any shady "Secret Service" or "Diebold Types" around, so really unless they have it rigged to where you select Ron Paul = 1 vote for Romney, then it was really hard for me to see how they could even tell who voted for whom...
The whole ordeal lasted maybe 5 minutes and then it was over. I feel good and I have on my RP Shirt and my voter sticker

Felt good, bad weather
Felt good. Hadn't felt like voting since Dole Vs Clinton. Weather is making it very difficult to work the polls however.
