The biggest obstacle we have in this campaign is the mainstream media. This can be overcome by simple education. We need to educate and show the truth to as many people as possible before the primaries.
Please don't sit on this - spread it, digg it and shout it! Add it to your blogs, write your own articles, post it to myspace, add it to face book, make a video about it, do an interview etc. etc.
All you people in other countries who wish you could vote for Ron Paul - these are the kinds of things YOU can do to help him get elected.
Get motivated, get energized and let's win our freedom and liberty back!!

Articles are tenuous at
Articles are tenuous at best. The second article claims RP to be above all candidates but Democrat and GOP but it fails to mention that Barak Obama has 250,000 individual donors so far. I do think that Ron Paul has more supporters than any other republican candidate but that's does not translate into election success.
A large chunk of RP supporters are younger voters who traditionally will support and often even donate but not actually vote. That may be why the MSM is so willing to throw out his internet dominance. Willingness to digg a story is apparently not a good indicator of willingness to stand in line and vote.
Ron Paul probably does have the most active supporters of any republican candidate (and is undoubtedly the best choice) but that doesn't mean he would win today b/c he's not famous like the others are. The huge majority of voters don't know much about their candidates positions but vote on just a few impressions. Also, RP's message doesn't fit into nice pro/against packages. His third constitutional way is hard for folk to grasp. How many times have we heard: "Is he FOR or AGAINST abortion?" when the answer is "neither, that's a state issue".
Being the best candidate with the most fervent supporters is not what it takes to win the presidency. Winning the presidency requires that the voting machines in a number of quasi-specific districts return your name the most.
I think the Media is also scared to death of Ron Paul. A Paul victory would confound and confuse news reporting. The media doesn't know how to deal with intelligent dialog. They want head-line sound bytes and pro/con positions on things they're used to reporting on. Covering Ron Paul requires educating your viewers which means less time for the rest of the news. A Ron Paul victory also means that the traditional methods of polling and predicting mean squat and that the old media has lost significantly more influence to the new media. Lastly, Paul is also bound to be one mighty boring president: No Wars, no foreign entanglements, small federal gov't and an easy impenetrable answer to almost every question "it's in the constitution".
Ron Paul probably does have more support than the MSM gives him credit for but it's not the most of any candidate. Also, the MSM is trying to determine who will win the presidency and that's not as tied to supporters as one would hope in a republic.
