One Man's Perspective On Super Tuesday

For the past 100 years this country has descended far into the decrepit depths of socialism, corporatism and empirism. The welfare state swallows the poor masses and keeps them there permanently, big government and big business have their corporate welfare and regulation that ensures competition is marginalized, if not eliminated and the American empire continues to reach well beyond the means of American will and wealth. We here at Daily Paul all know these trends threaten our individual liberty, our nation’s prosperity and the world’s peace.

A year ago we, the (true) Conservative/Republican/Freedom movement, hardly existed. Today we are several hundred thousand highly intelligent, enlightened, motivated and united Americans. But we are still a minority. We’re a minority in the Republican Party and an even greater minority in the country as a whole. It is imperative that we understand this.

It is also imperative that we understand that we did more as a group for the message of Freedom and the US Constitution in one year that has not been done in half a century. We need to see our progress for how AMAZING it really is. And we need to realize that this is STEP ONE. This is just the beginning. It is unrealistic to think we can reverse 100 years of socialism, corporatism and empirism in one election. It is going to take many years and many elections and many more millions of new patriots to take our country back.

So keep this in mind when watching the results tonight. No matter what happens, remember that we have just begun to fight. I know I have. The past year has turned me into a fierce believer and fighter of freedom. Ron Paul has inspired a renewed love of my country and I know that someday I will make a public stand for freedom, peace and prosperity.

In Liberty,

John

Right on!

Your last name isn't Hancock is it?

Amen

This has been my perspective all along. Just like the Neo-Cons have slowly introduced the ideas of legislating morality, pre-emtive war, and discrete socialism over a period of 10+ years, we must give it time for the message to take hold. People need to be woken up one by one, and soon the majority will understand how they have been robbed of their country. Our battle has just begun and may take many years, or even decades, but eventually we will succeed. History has shown that the model of using fiat currency to finance massive socialistic empire expansion is bound to fail.

We will gain a little more ground through every election from now on, as we will start to fill the local levels of government with our own Patriots. We must lead by example, and along the way teach others about the constitution and how to restore the Republic.

I agree. I will never be

I agree. I will never be able to ignore politics or government again. Now that I know what is going on, I can't do anything but continue to fight and continue to call others to fight.

thanks for the reminder

and the encouragement. I have been discouraged thinking the whole nation would somehow come to their senses all in one political season, but I realize this is going to take time. I have been financially supporting candidates that are running for congress that are rp supporters. getting those kind of people in office will help dr. paul and our cause.
