Didn't like

Bush or Dukakis so I voted for RP. I took a lot of flack from the military town I lived in because everyone said that by voting for RP I actually voted for Dukakis because it took a vote away from Bush. They wanted Bush because he was very pro military and had promised pay raises. I just liked what RP had to say.

I did.

Michael Badnarak in '04
Harry Browne in '00 and '96
Andre Marrou in '92
Ron Paul in '88
David Bergen in '84
Ed Clark in '80

Before that I was too young to vote.

Yeah, you and me had exactly

Yeah, you and me had exactly the same voting record. Good for you.

Happy to Vote Against Dukakis and Bush and for Rep. Paul in 1988

I had the great fortune of telling Dr. Paul in Carson City in November that I was one of less than 500,000 who voted for him in 1988--I wish I could bottle the facial response and smile that came over him.

I had registered with the Libertarian Party in 1976 when our 'choices' were tweedledom Ford versus tweedledee Carter and have voted only for Republican Reagan in 1980.

His record in his first term did not justify a second and I voted Libertarian in 1984 and ever since. Until this election cycle of course...

I Would Have...

if I'd been alive.
;)
(I'm 15.)
Go RON PAUL!
David

My first presidential

My first presidential election was 2000 and I voted for Harry Browne, he got 4% in Georgia.

I did!

I did! Today was my second Ron Paul vote.

Voted for Paul in '88. Was

Voted for Paul in '88. Was 25 at the time, almost 26.

We did

We've known him since 1996!! I have a great picture with him. His wife Carol just a wonderful lady.

My

Grandfather did and when he found out he was running again he hopefully switched.

I did! Was 26 at the time.

I did! Was 26 at the time. Would have voted for Ed Clark in 1980, but my birthday was ONE DAY after the election! Still, wore a "Clark for President" button on my jacket all that fall.

I was 13 in 1988

No, I didn't vote for RP in '88.

I did!

Ditto on all the other Libertarians named....

Count me in!

And Harry Browne, and Andre Marrou and Michael Bednarik too

How to support RP's cause every day:
1. Don't use credit cards
2. Stamp your cash with RP stamp before spending
3. Take cash out of ATM, stamp, put back in bank
4. Explain to teller why you did #3
5. Repeat

Going back to 1980...

My first presidential election in 1980, I was living in Santa Barbara, CA. Regan's home town... I was working second shift and they were showing all his old movies on late night tv on the run up to the election...

And I thought, holy cow, is this where this guy got his view of reality??? So I voted Libertarian...

Then again for Ron Paul in '88 and Harry Brown both times he ran... Other times as well, just don't remember names.

Someone mentioned a "Harry Browne scandal"???

Too young at the time

I did vote for the libertarian Badnarick in 2004. I can honestly say i had never planned to vote for another Republican again. Sadly, this will probably be the last time.

Omaha, NE

my Uncle voted for him in 88... I was only 8yrs old at the time

I did too!!!

I was the MN LP Gov. Candidate in '88 - Met RP on a campaign trip through Minneapolis. Live in Idaho now, but MN was home then.

Not a thing has changed about that man :-)

idahojoe.com

Yep.

Sure did. Voted for John Hospers too.

I voted for RP in 1988

. after WACO and OK city we thought it was all over. in 1990 we protested in front of the capital to audit the fed reserve. it was not Dr paul that cured my apathy it was all of you in this movement.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

I did ...

fresh out of H.S. Just turned 18. And voted for Harry twice. Then I decided to vote for the lesser of two evils and voted for GW twice. You can blame me for where we are at.

I did...

I voted Ed Clark in 1980, David Berglund in 1984, Ron Paul in 1988....

Can anyone recall the Harry Brown scandal?

I am calling for an audit of the HQ campaign....

Can I hear a second?

Treg/ Tempe AZ

Whatever...Did you vote for Washington too??

Pick me. I did!

Pick me. I did :-) And did again this morning... There were four booths at our precinct, and three of the four of them were simultaneously filled with Ron Paul voters at that time (me, my wife, and my neighbor). Oh to have that same result all day long...

Cheers all. Go Ron Paul.

Been there, done that...

and gonna do it, again! :-)

wasn't quite old enough. My

Yes!

My husband and I not only voted for him in '88, we were delegates to the Libertarian National Convention in Seattle where he was nominated.

Go, Ron Paul!

Yep. And people said "you're throwing your vote away!"

Today, that 1988 vote is my proudest of all, bar none. Ignore anyone who EVER says those words to you & vote your conscience. Your spirit may thank me someday if you stick to your own principles & intellect.

I was right back in 1988, I'm right to vote again for RP as I did early in FL, and it seems very-likely that I will-be right in future political decisions, whether or not anyone else follows my libertarian lead. And not only that, I'm modest, too! ;)
JMR

My husband did!

And also for Harry Browne!

Yes, I did-----

HYDROMAN
and voted for Mike Badnarik , and Harry Browne, etc.

No

but I did vote for bush 2x. At least I learned my lesson

I did!

Didn't know much about him but he had a great Conservative Index on his congressional voting record, and no way could I vote for either of the Demublican candidates, so I cast a Libertarian protest vote.

I was 25 and sure wasn't

I was 25 and sure wasn't going to vote for that cfr idiot BOOOSSHH #1

sure did

i also joined the liberatarian party here in texas.

I did

and it was the last time I voted. 2% club in NC ;)

No, but

My parents did... glad to see they got something right... ;)

wasn't old enough

If I was old enough to have voted I would have voted for him for sure.

Because of my age have only been able to vote twice, 1st for Harry Browne, 2nd for Alan Keyes, both were write ins, and I'll be writing in Ron Paul this time if he's not on the ballot.

Yes

And it is far more enjoyable, succesful, possible, wonderful the second time around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
