thanks yall (sorry but this might hurt the average joe)

I posted this on another forum after the results of NH .....after seeing some of the posts here I was angry and wanted to paste my response for some of the posts......although its long, it comes from the heart so please read....

"thanks yall (sorry but this might hurt the average joe)"

NH primary results night...

I posted this as a reply but made a thread for you guys. I am thrilled that I could be a part of this revolution. I wanted you guys to know that even if I am the last person standing once this campaign is over I shall keep spreading the message and protecting it with my life. For it is the truth. Sadly I have some comments I want to share regarding the fiasco that happened tonight and that shall continue in the future:

Some may blame the HQ, others the media, some would question the vote count and the voting machines. My take on all this is that the people of America are in politically correct words "not smart". Yes, you have every right to disagree and say troll and what not but please hear me through.

We should have a poll about our education and if we have traveled the world. I betcha the average Paulite would have an exposure to the world in some form or another. Why is this important?

ask an average American who Brittany Spears , Paris Hilton or Michael Vick is. They will get all excited and woozy. Ask them about Ron Paul they say Rupaul who?. Forget Ron ask them what is going on in the world today and they wont be able to articulate a wee bit. Yes I do apologize that I might be generalizing but I am talking about the average Joe.

American's live in a self made cocoon and the establishment uses this. They provide them entertainment like NFL, NBA and Hollywood to take their minds off their two jobs and growing debt. They feel at ease knowing that when the NFL season ends they have the NBA and when that is over the MLB. They feel comfortable knowing how "stars" like Brittany who "have it all" can screw their lives as well.

While keeping their minds off all the worries, they are instilled with this fear that they are not safe. An Orwellian enemy needs to be present so that they need a feel to be protected (there comes the role of government). The establishment capitalizes on creating this fear of the unknown eg "communism" during the cold war and "Islamo facism" now. I have roamed the streets of certain cities in the Middle East at night which dare say I would never step out on to had I watched the gun wielding guys on FOX news (played by the hour). I even cracked a couple of Fox news jokes with some business associates in Asia. They would give me a derisive smile and say "so you guys really believe all they say in that?". Most (again a generalization) Americans haven't even met a Muslim yet have already seen the gun wielding guys on Fox News and have made up their minds saying "bad people bomb them", A trip to Europe or an Asian country and you would find the people are more attuned to whats happening in the world. The people of Spain, Australia and Britain have changed their govt and gotten out of Iraq. Look at the people around the world following Ron Paul. Now imagine an American hooting for a guy in a Scandinavian country.

Sadly like all empires/colonialists our arrogance is at a sky high. We cannot think of our country as somehow being in trouble or being "bad"( remember the "good vs evil"). The few that know are in denial while the rest of the hierarchy is so filled with greed that they would care less.

In a time like this when I was getting desperate and hopeless seeing the attitude of my fellow country men I heard a guy speak. His name was Ron Paul.

The purpose of all this is to tell you that I have come to an assessment. America does not deserve a guy like Ron Paul. He is an angel. A guy with such a pure heart that it hurts. For thirty years he has been the sole voice against the status quo. He has to deal with so much of the slandering even after our support, imagine what it would have been like saying all this when he knew none of us were behind him then. What it would be like when he would be the sole vote saying "no" in congress and trying to justify it while the rest made fun of him. It just breaks my heart. The other day I was so excited to watch the ABC debates but when I saw what the rest of the GOP'ers were doing to him I was literally crying. The last time I cried was yrs ago when I lost someone. My friends would laugh if they heard from someone they saw me cry. Because I am a cynical non emotional ass. But I couldn't stand the fact that the doctor was being ridiculed for speaking the truth. Not just ridiculed but snickering and playground bullying. It was like watching Noah tell his son "please there is still time. The rain has just begun but the flood is yet to come . Heed my advice and jump into the boat." But his son ridiculed him by saying I shall climb the highest mountain and shall be safe. Everyone knows what happened next. I had to switch the tv off. Couldn't take it.

Tonight as I see the poll numbers of Hillary and Mccaine climb in a state where I thought I might one day decide to live. I must reiterate America does not deserve a man like Ron Paul. It reminded me of the stephanopolous interview where the doctor asked him if he was willing to bet his every cent and dime that he would not be elected. The answer as you know is history. sigh

Some day when the good doctor is retired and spending time reading at home with his grandchildren, I will drop by with my child(who I hope to have in the future). I will tell him to say hi to the guy who I had proudly taught him about. To say thank you for his services to America and for trying to save his future.

What I do not want my child to ask me is if had tried my very best to get him to the office, so that he would not be in the very situation he talked about.

In the end irrespective of what my fellow Americans have become ignorant, arrogant or whatever, I am just glad to know that there are a few still who believe in the message. They make me proud to be an American...and that is yall the Ron Paul Supporters.....

Thankyou....

p.s please stay firm to the message of Ron Paul . he has had to endure so much ridiculing over the 30 years to finally find his true patriots. Please imagine how it would break the old mans heart to read some of the posts in this forum. He could have gone back to his grandchildren and lived peacefully spending his days in retirement. But he chose us. He chose to put his character at stake with all the smear regarding MLK(sickening) and racist false comments. The least we can do is see it through.

THANK YOU

On a morning when I just want to wake up and weep, a letter like this is just what I needed. I still want to weep, but maybe some of the tears can be for joy, knowing that I am not alone. I am the mother of six beautiful children, and the thought of any of them being drafted to fight for the foriegn policy agenda of evil and conspiring men literally sickens me. I feel hopeless against the media who have done all they can to destroy this revolution. But I will still pray for a victory, and remember how I felt when I saw Lord of the Rings. How could those little hobbits win against such odds? The desire for power, and the strength and numbers of the evil forces seemed impossible to overcome. But, we all remember the end of the story, dont we... Faith and courage everyone. Divine intervention is needed to reverse what has been orchestrated against freedom and liberty

Your sentiment is shared with many, many others

I have been a supporter of Dr. Paul since 1984...needless to say, the amount of hope I have for this country has been quadrupled in just the last year. I had no idea there were so many people out there who would respond so enthusiastically to Dr. Paul's message. This has already been the most incredible presidential primary I have ever witnessed...perhaps that is because, for the first time in my 24 years as an eligible voter, there is a REAL candidate running for president...and he is gaining support from all corners. I simply do not see a drawback to this reality. I'll be seeing Dr. Paul at a rally this Sunday. I cannot wait!

there are a few good americans left

unfortunately we are only 4% of the population according to the vote. It is not enough to prevent end days. I am beginning to research a new country to live in.

takes 5% for a

takes 5% for a revolution....others just join in

You had me at '..even if I'm the last person standing..' & then.

If I could cry right now like Hillary would it help persuade you how moved I was at reading this? How important it is to put aside all the trivial reasons for NOT staying the course? Reasons like- I gotta vote for the 'apparent winner'.

Ya'll have signed on to the greatest human endeavor ever attempted in America since the original revolution but with a spin... this one is peaceful and as Dr. Paul says 'legislative'. You've done so thoughtfully, intelligently and with any/all treasure and effort possible, right?

DON'T QUIT NOW IT'S A GAME OF INCHES- BE PROUD AND INSPIRED BY THE GUMPTION, THE TEMERITY, AND THE PATRIOTISM OF YOUR FOREFATHERS. FOR G*D'S SAKE PICK UP THE GUANTLET AND FOLLOW YOUR TRUSTED LEADER- DR. RON PAUL.

The delegate process is obviously outside your understanding and outside the mainstream education and/or media to broadcast the details- why, might you ask? Cuz if everyone were privy to it than highly organized and UNPATRIOTIC persons could conceivably take over. The obstacles are, in a way, blessings- if our system moved too quickly it would subject to popular opinion.

In this case ours is not 'popular' opinion but DUTY HONOR AND COUNTRY. This is IT!

STAY THE COURSE.

Sorry for the rant and numerous misspellings- and thanks to American Empire for the motivation and moving treatise. I'm with YOU my brother/sister and willing to DIE for the cause.

RP did not tell them what rights they lost specifically

RP never attacked McCain for the rights he has been taking away.

And, frankly, most Republicans including myself disagree with RP on the Iraq War DIRECTLY.

I say directly because one can easily convince someone that the war is wrong when one shows how many rights Bush took away at home in order to continue the war.

What do I mean "rights taken away in order to continue the war"?

Well, it was not Bush directly who took our rights away. It was Bush and McCain making deals with the Democrats who offered their pro-war votes in return for the Republicans allowing them to pass their pet laws which take our rights away.

The Democrats are the real political enemy (as can be seen by the horrifying Ron Paul vote numbers in Blue States).

The war was wanted so badly by the right (and still is) that it caused Republicans to be OK with sacrificing everything else in order to make deals with the liberals in order "to keep them on board."

Habeus Corpus, privacy, posse commitatus, what else do you need?

Have you watched 'The Pentagon's New Map'? Are you quite sure you understand how you, as a serviceman, have been used to develop business interest? Used to develop a 'security product' for sale to China? For crying outloud the war in Iraq, the impending one in IRAN, if you believe the 'gap theory' about bringing muslims into the 'transition', is NOT worth our men and womens lives!

You obviously lack faith in American ingenuity, resolve, and concept of freedom and responsiblity. Without any more oil from anyone, without federal reserve fiat currency, without presumed 'rights' that government dispenses (rather than G*D Almighty) this country WILL PROSPER- Perhaps in ways that eclipse even our industrial age and technological age COMBINED.

What litte faith ye have.

My question to you, as one who presumably taken an oath to protect and defend the constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, is... do you REALLY believe in Sam Adams admonitions?

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

well said....

well said....

Thank you my brave friend

I am so glad you were not offended by post. SO GLAD I am proud of you, proud of all our brave service men and women who willing put themselves in harms way- I couldn't do it, not overseas, I could do it here on our soil but not go here or there.

Thank you for your willingness to here another point of view.

so now

its the liberals fault....

with the democrats blaming the republicans and vice versa...the american people are suffering....

about the war and this is my personal opinion and you don't have to endorse it ...the war is being fought on a false pretext...never should we go in a pre emptive attack....we have killed hundreds of thousands of iraqi and our thousands of soldiers and we cannot even look in their eyes and say welldone you fought for freedom???....who did this the liberals and conservative....who suffers the american people....and the iraqi's too...not to mention destabilizing middle east...

"The Democrats are the real political enemy (as can be seen by the horrifying Ron Paul vote numbers in Blue States)."

so you expect democratic voters to vote for Ron Paul and somehow it was ok for the republicans to vote neocon...I don't get your argument...correct me if I am wrong.....and please come out of this two party system ...its the biggest fraud against democracy.....why do I need to take the whole package....why cant I be anti IRS, anti taxes, pro choice, pro second amendment yet for decreasing greenhouse gases ....not that that is my position.....what I mean is why do I need to register republican or democrat to elect a person who is closest to my ideals??....where is my freedom to choose witout any party affiliation.....both parties are a mafia and they thrive on dividing us on issues....they have succeeded with you though.....

but seriously what does this have to do with my post.....

Listen...

...I'm not going to read your whole post. I'm WAY too tired. But I will say this:

I've been to England and Paris. People of both countries treated me like a retard. I now know why.

Americans follow the MSM. The old voters are brainwashed, and right now they are the majority, believing little Iran poses a huge threat. The older voters are destroying this country for the younger peoples' future! Young people do NOT rely on the MAIN STREAM MEDIA. They research the internet and find out the truth for themselves to make their OWN decisions.

To all of the elderly:
You must leave this world better than you left it. You KNOW America is not right. Listen to the younger folk for a change. The internet, which you do NOT use effectively, has changed politics. Younger generations are now able to find out the truth quicker than relying on the media. Do them a favor and, for once, vote for who YOUNG people would vote for. YOU have the opportunity to give the younger generation a jump start in freedom!

younger people don't even

younger people don't even care to research b/c they don't vote.....

seriously its been harder for me to convince the younger people b/c their natural response is we don't care who becomes president...like this is something cool ????....

like I said in my thread most who understand what I write have traveled the world or our really looking for a "change" from the status quo....

A revolution

isn't going to happen through the GOP. The GOP doesn't want us. Why do we continue to stay in a party that doesn't want us? I know when to leave a party when I'm not wanted.

A revolution is going to happen from a new party. We can wake up people just as effectively with a third party now. We should all move to a third party and build it. There is no point in trying to change the Republican Party - it's gone, it's the Neo-Conservative Party. We need the RP party: Revolutionary Party.

Go third party Dr. Paul. Let those of us who no longer belong in the GOP leave with him. Let those who no longer fit with the Democrats join us. It's time to build the Independent Party. It's time for a real Revolution.

it might work if it is

it might work if it is mccaine vs hillary

Again yet again

Ron Paul is very smart about this. PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY, Ron Paul WILL stay in the race for the GOP all the way to the convention.

Why will he do this?
1. By Staying in the GOP race he gets Face time in the Debates. And even if he only gets 6 min, That is much more time than he would get as an Indy. Independents NEVER get to be in the debates. If even 1000 people really hear him in that small time and say wow I like this guy. Its FREE publicity in a Mainstream American respected show.

2. What benefit is there to drop out now to go third party? I see absolutely NONE, please enlighten me as to why your wanting him to do it now. Calling for it is actually detrimental and a distraction. And the sudden force of your statements are an attack that I would expect from a sneaky supporter of the Romney campaign or the Mainstream media.

3. What if we do go to a brokered convention (which is more and more likely) and we can get him elected through delegates. Seems a waste of time to throw all the hard work of everyone down the tubes just to make you feel better.

4. The Longer this Drags on the more people are being woke up to the need for someone like Ron Paul, not just for president but for all levels of government.

5. If and I do mean "if" we are not successful at electing Ron for Pres. at the republican GOP what would stop him from going Indy at that time? When the Grassroots has grown even deeper and wider than anyone could have at first believed. Would it not be better to milk the GOP for EVERYTHING they are worth before going Indy?

I agree especially if

I agree especially if hillary wins the democratic nomination we could get a lot of obama supporters...and if mccaine wins we could get the huckabee supporters.....

but I still think it is early to be going third party...paul still has our money to spend....so let him....

dag

That is some good stuff.

I dunno what to do. I live in NJ. Handed out over 800 flyers in my town. Got 6 people to vote for him here. I checked the totals.... 25.

And my flyers were the TRUTH. It is sad. Very sad. Part of me is so angry. Part is happy. Part is stunned.

I am sorry. I severely dislike the GOP. They can ROT for all I care.

I don't want their DAMN nomination. But what can I do? I have tried everything. I need a break.

I see forked tongues and fire coming out of the mouths of our adversaries. There are so many. It is as though I see with new eyes. I think with a new mind. Sometimes I feel like I speak a different language. Like I am talking to strangers... that I have known my entire life. It is like being in an episode of the Twilight Zone.... only REAL.

I dunno

sir...

you underestimate your potential and value....once a paul supporter always a paul supporter......

you have shown the 6 ppl you converted the true message...they will talk about it and spread it even further....

you forget that unlike the huckabee, mccaine , romney support we have a philosophy, a message, a mission....that does not end with casting a vote unlike the other supporters....

a few yrs ago I would be a kook for even discussing the stuff I do now....imagine if I discussed how the media is controlled and that we are going towards fascism.....but now we have people lwho are all ears and want to know more......keep at it we will convince them ...

Ron Paul is the next...

Thomas Jefferson. Our country was stolen from us about 100 years ago. This is the beginning of the next Revolutionary War. We are going to have to Declare our Dependence once again. Our independence from tyranny, just like in 1776.

Things will unfortunately have to get much worse before they get better, but the revolution that Ron Paul has started will be the same revolution that will return our nation to the great nation it once was. I am certain of this. He is the statesman of our time. Dr. Paul may have passed on by the time we achieve our objective, especially considering we now know what a tough fight this is going to be. This election is proving that. But his name and his legacy... his revolution... will continue.

I too will be standing.

You will not be alone.

I'm pretty certain their are a lot of us out there. (About 4% - LOL... but not really.) But 4% is a lot better than 1/2 of 1% like he got in 1988. And in some places, it's as high as 10-15%. (Of the voting public.) And it may be even higher than that when you consider there are a lot of "closet" supporters that like his ideas, but didn't vote for him because he was portrayed by the media as having no chance. They didn't want their vote to "go to waste". Well, it did... but they just are quite smart enough to realize that... yet.

Education is the key. And getting the right people to run for elected offices. There's enough of us... and we're growing... to take over government from the inside out. We might not have to take out our guns and do it the way the revolutionaries did. At least I hope not. But I am willing.

The internet is a big key. It's the only free media we have left. We have to fight for that. They will try to take it away.

But ultimately is comes down to us. We are the key. As long as we don't give up, we can win. We owe it to Dr. Paul for his great service to our country and to us as Americans. He's woken a lot of us up, and we've got to pay him back by continuing to fight.

As Ron Paul would say, "Looks like the revolution is alive and well!"

yes I agree....but what is

yes I agree....but what is going to be significant is how our support is channelized...I think it will be critical for Ron to advise us through these times until there is a perdon worthy to get our support...till then we should run for congress and senate..

I think many will now start thinking about running for congress and senate....maybe 10 to 20 yrs down the line might think about it too....till then I will be on the front lines spreading the message.....

Oh and by the way...

Great post. My 19 year old son is really intelligent and has his head on his shoulders too. I feel great about the youth in this country, especially since this election started. Most of the baby boomers are fat, dumb and happy... for now. I think we're all going to be hurting really soon unfortunately, and then it will be easier to wake people up.

Go Ron Paul!

Great words and you are twenty-something?! The establishment

Great words and you are twenty-something?! The establishment has successfully dumbed-down Americans en masse.

But when I read words like these from young people like you, well, it makes me think of the word God used "remnant". At least there is hope that a small percentage of us are not ashamed to stand up and recognize Ron Paul for the great American Hero that he is.

I'm glad you took the time to post your heartfelt essay. Keep on keepin' on.

missdavenport

thanks for the words of encouragement....and you sound as encouraging as my mom....:)

I know you are a regular on this forum and also read your posts....seriously your word mean a lot knowing what you write....thanks

and yes I am 25 ....so this movement is alive and kicking for another few decades....

Thanks also, and you are

Thanks also, and you are welcome. Tell your mama she done raised up a good 'un =)

I know how instrumental my parents were in providing a stable home and encouraging us to "be ourselves" as long as we minded our parents and God.
I'm thankful that the only "fears" we had were actually grounded in love.

I've learned that it takes courage to stand up with Dr Paul and to admire his family and supporters, instead of going along with the status quo and ridiculing lovers of freedom and the America we once knew.

It seems totally backwards - to be laughed at for standing up for the right things. But remember, God predicted just that very thing.

I will make a note to self - to pray for you and your future family. God bless you and thanks again for your support.

thank you for sharing

your post is beautiful. and i agree... sometimes i worry that RP will read some of the posts here... i know he's tough but i wish people would be more thoughtful in their posts. RP is a bit techie... i'm sure he checks out the websites once in awhile.

That Was and Amazing Read

You my friend are exactly correct this is not about Ron Paul, this is about Freedom, Ron Paul has just been the vassel brave enough to put the last 30 years of blood sweat and tears into this fight. He has done his job already, with or without the nomination, and if he runs as a third party candidate even better. That would just serve to awaken more. The real question is are we all just a bunch of talkers or are we willing to match his effort, match his blood sweat and tears for this rEVOLution, because if we are not than we are only wasting our time.

Now my friends we see what we are up against, and now we know how to organize as well as promote our cause, raise funds and keep eachother motivated. There is no reason to stop now, this is about our Constitution, I remind you this is what we are fighting for. The Message of Freedom is'nt just a message it is the law. There will be others to carry the torch of Freedom, We are the future of this Country, and if you're not willing to believe that then Tyranny has already one. Wake up, Wake up Others and keep Moving Forward.

Please Friends Fellow Patriots!

LET FREEDOM RING!!!!

Watch this Video it says it all!!!!

Now we have every reason to go on, to stay organized and keep our rEVOLution alive.
The Seeds of Truth we Plant today will grow to be the Tree of Freedom tommorow.

Thank you for your post

Paulers are the smartest, wittiest and most passionate I've encountered. Definitely not quitters. Thank you Dr. Paul for giving us someone to rally around and to look up to. God bless us everyone (Tiny Tim).

Pride is a set up for a

Pride is a set up for a fall.

hmmm....food for thought

hmmm....food for thought

Slight correction, american empire

You will be the second to last standing in support of RP. We do have to remember that it was sheep-like thinking that has gotten us into this mess. It may be the same thinking that will get us out. If we continue to educate America, many will want to follow what the rest are doing. We just need to get a substantial number to understand the message. Considering that he had, I believe, 500k votes in 1988, he will surpass that this evening......in a primary and with about 20 states to go, I'd say we are making significant progress. Stupidity is our biggest problem, and some will never comprehend, but if people hear the same message from enough people and often enough, many will see the light.

We've only hit second gear, and the competition doesn't know we have several more gears to go.......and a supercharger. Time to shift gears and crush 'em.

actually your post is better

actually your post is better than mine....
we had 3% in FL but what I saw was 60,000 people voting for the message....
you know it takes 5% for a revolution....
but the positives of this time around vs 1988...(when I was 5 ) is that we are organized and structured ....not to forget angry....
we are also young so in the next decade we will be sending our guys to washington ......until we find the next Ron Paul......
but till then I still believe Ron is going till the end ...ie the convention...and he needs are support...
what I am happy is that when I shall fall I will go down contended .....knowing that I have a patriot behind me who will pick up the flag and march on...

I'm so proud to be one of

I'm so proud to be one of his supporters! Thank you for sharing your story. I especially agree with how it would break his heart to read some of his supporters comments. I'm with him and beyond this presidential race!!

yes he is a statesman before

yes he is a statesman before a politician....and we should respect the way he is fighting for us....just proud to be even represented on the ballot for once....

great.......

great post

You said it so well!

I believe this is how so many of us feel. He has my gratitude for all he has done for us already. He gave us HOPE again that we could take our country back. I'm in all the way..........to the White House!!!!!! Thanks for the moving post.

glad you like it

glad you liked it

true...Ron Paul supporters are the smartest of them all

my mind is always blown by the breathtaking depth of knowledge on this site. I have had such an education...

but natch, you do butt heads with an idiot now and again ;-)

Thanks for this post

Dr. Paul has lived his entire life as if under a spotlight, not from the MSM but from his own conscience. This country doesn't deserve him. I'm in favor of taking over a state and electing him governor, then electing others to state offices where we can reject the hell that is surely coming to this once-great land.

You nailed it buddy! Could not of said it better myself. All of us have got to understand that this movement does not stop with this election. Hopefully, I will get to see my country returned to the people and go back to Constitutional principles before I take the long sleep! ;-)

thanks...

funny I am close to your age too....and thinking about my future kid and what he will ask me....he will certainly ask me if I tried to prevent the mess he has to deal with....

I second that!
