Ron Paul at Grand Central Station

I can't hear what he says, but I can feel the energy! What a great shot.

speech was impromptu.... visit to grand central station wasn't

He came into town on Friday evening for a $1000 a head fancy fund raiser.. about 50 people there!!!

The following day he was to speak to the Mises institute (lew rockwell's group) at a luncheon in one of the restaurants overlooking grand central station.

About 200 of us were outside grand central central station with signs, chanting, etc... he was pleasantly surprised, so he stepped out at like 11:30 and gave a quick speech... then the whole mob followed him into the terminal... he was halfway up the stairs on the way to the restaurant and
gave a speech.

there are youtube videos floating around... i'm trying to locate them myself

Finger pointed in the air,

Finger pointed in the air, shouting to a cheering crowd from a balcony with no microphone, about liberty and following the constitution, and projecting well. Epic.

I think he says, "It's time

I think he says, "It's time for liberty in this country, and obeying the Constitution. We have got to make sure that we contain the right of Habeas Corpus and personal liberty."

almost...

he said retain, not contain... containing it would be a bad thing... :)

wow. That was powerful. I

wow. That was powerful. I wonder if that was impromptu?

Yes, that was impromptu

It happened just after over 200 of us followed Dr. Paul through th 42nd street entrance doors into Grand Central terminal itself and he and his staff climbed the stairs. The looks on all the policemens faces was priceless. If you've ever been inside Grand Central, you know how it reverberates, and we took up about a quarter of the terminal floorspace yelling and cheering. He only spoke for a minute or so, before he turned and walked to the stairs behind him to talk to another smaller group for an hour or so. Hopefully, that was another fundraising group - they would've been very impressed with the support we had just given Dr. Paul!

Yup.

Looks spontaneous to me. No mike. 1 minute
