569,336 Real Americans Who Care
This is how many patriots who have voted for Dr. Paul in the primaries and caucuses. NO he should not drop out when there are states to let our people vote in. Even if MCCandy gets the delegates needed. I say Dr. Paul keeps on going to upcoming primaries and trying to get votes and hold rallies. I don't care if Dr. Paul just goes home and waits the election out, he should not get out of this race.

And don't forget the military personnel
that probably didn't get a vote.
I'm not 100% sure how it works, but didn't I hear that absentee ballots aren't counted unless there is a tie or something? Wouldn't the military's votes come in on those ballots? (not trying to start conspiracy talk here, just wondering if it works that way).
With the MSM blackout, it has also made me wonder if they actively filter RP content from their internet. Wouldn't that be a kick in the balls as they fight for their country?
It is encouraging
to see so many people realize our strength.
Sky is the limit!!
Million Patriots Goal
A million patriots by the convention would be nice. Good to see some voters woke up and actually get it.

Write-in campaign.
Even if insane McCain gets the nomination, we don't have to accept him, we can still vote for Ron Paul with a write-in vote.
Less than a million?
Let's double that before the convention!
Thats about
a 100,000 more people than voted for him in the GENERAL Election in 1988 as a third party candidate. This is awesome!!!
True, Really More Than That
Stoneman makes a good point. Some of them totals may have been delegate totals. So the number of votes is higher. Can someone get the vote totals.
More than that if You count
More than that if You count all the people that their votes were stolen. I am an independent and didn't find out till election day when I could have sworn I was a republican. I guess I'll leave it independent because I will never go back to the republican party again after how they treated us.
If...
...each of them gave $10 that would be over $5 million.
=)
IF RP does not win, a Draft will be just around the corner
The public should think about that ....
And that's REAL grassroots
And that's REAL grassroots support, across the board from all the states in the Union. Remember these are the ones who are diehards and actually voted.
I've talked to tons and tons of people who absolutely loved what he has to say but didn't think he could win. Let's continue the fight people. Give with your wallet, your time and your heart. These are the simple fights now vs having to fight with our bodies against a police state in the future. Pick which one you want (or deserve).
It seems the delegate strategy can be a way to win. It's exciting to think that John McCain (with his sidekick Huckster) could be thwarted at the convention by unbound delegates in a second or third round of voting.
WE CAN STILL WIN.
Winners Never Quit, Quitters Never Win
In the Super Tuesday primary results Knox County TN does not identify which of the 100s of delegates are for Ron Paul, but they were idenitfied on the ballot.
http://www.knoxcounty.org...
Every voter must check that their own vote was counted. The county election commission keeps detailed public records of every registered voter, and who they voted for in each election.
It's suicidal to quit while he's ahead getting free publicity in the GOP primary. Not until after the Republicon convention does he need to change to an independent. That's how Joe Lieberman got re-elected to the US Senate, running indy after the Demorat convention. Winners never quit and quitters never win.
The reason Ron Paul got beat yesterday is because most of his voters are doing nothing but voting. Voting is for losers, if that's all you do. 90% of precincts still have no precinct leaders signed up, and 99% of those leaders do nothing but wave signs.
Ron Paul campaign HQ has detailed training videos on how to win, which requires personally contacting 1,000s of voters in each precinct, 1st to gather intel anonymously to weed out hard-core GOPsters and DemoRats, 2nd to re-contact Ron Paul supporters and recruit them to work in the campaign, 3rd register Ron Paul voters in the primaries, 4th sell uncommitted voters, 5th deliver absentee ballots only to Ron Paul voters, 6th re-contact to remind to vote early or by the deadline, 7th stand at the polls on election day and handout RP info and recruit more workers, etc. Ron Paul voters must volunteer for poll watching, poll counting, and stalking whoever is delivering the vote totals, like Bev Harris does with a videocam. This is what winning candidates do.
Training Videos:
http://ronpaul2008.com
Another reason Ron Paul got beat is lack of a dozen cable access TV shows, pirate TV shows, pirate FM/AM radio stations, and licensed radio stations in every district. This is the only way to bypass the pythological liars in the media mafia.

Another problem is govt employees who are following illegal orders to vote for establish candidates under threat of being fired, which includes a huge voting block of most govt employees and their families. At the primary election yesterday I spoke with a campaign worker who was a 25-year retiree from a Knox County TN govt dept. He said that every payday he was required to pay 1/3rd of his paycheck to his boss, cash only, for 25 years. He was also required to campaign for his boss, and to buy at least 10 tickets to the GOP campaign party. He said this is the standard in Knox county govt. He was disgruntled after being fired by his supervisor who refused to work. Sound familiar?
Do taxpayers enjoy overpaying govt employees by 33%? He also complained that his govt pension plan was mysteriously failing to grow. This is explained by "churning" and looting the govt CAFR pensions, to reduce the net profit. Read a free copy of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (city, county, state, KUB, UT, fed), to catch govt crooks running 2 sets of books. the CAFR is the govt report on profits, the Budget is the report on expenses. Govt crooks use the CAFR as their personal piggy bank.

If everyone who voted followed
up with a 10 $ donation that would mean 5,6 million
so start now, if you can´t donate 10 donate 5, if u can´t donate 5 ask someone else to donate 5 $
don´t wait.
The only honest politician in a long time told me to FIGHT!
WHAT WOULD CHANGE THAT NOW? ONLY HE CAN TELL ME TO STAND DOWN!!! Half of these people posting negativity are probably not even supporters.
561,072 and Counting
Bump
exactly.
ron paul 2008
The actual Count is really MUCH BIGGER!
I just did a count of all of the primary states at CNN.com and the count was 530,458 votes cast for Ron Paul in Primary States. Then in the caucus states they do not go by each individual vote but rather delegates are awarded depending on how many votes one receive. If you look at all of the caucus states so far
Alaska - 1955 delegates
Colorado - 4670 delegates
Iowa - 11817 delegates
Maine - 851 delegates
Minnisota - 9739
Montana - 400 delegates
Nevada - 6087 delegates
North Dakota - 2082 delegates
West Virginia - 0 delegates (But I know there is support for him there)
Wyoming - 0 delegates (But I know there is support for him there)
Delegates do not represent votes 1 for 1. They are Proportional. So with an additional 37,601 delegates and knowing that it is not 1 for 1 you know that number is larger. My guess would be take it times 10 or more and you would still be short of the total number of PATRIOTS so far. Anyways, that number would be over 900,000 so far and I would bet we are actually over a MILLION PATRIOTS!
If we stand together, with one voice, we will be noticed.
That voice is RON PAUL!
We are not voting on popularity but for Integrety, Principal, Morals, Values, and the right to stay FREE. It does not matter if Ron Paul wins the Republican Nomination but that you vote for what you believe in and not sway and vote for who we are told will be the winner or who is currently the most popular.
People tell me all the time that they like what he stands for and what he says but they won't vote for him because they feel they would just be throwing their vote away. I simply say "When you vote fpr what you do not believe in then what are throwing away, and isn't that basically the same thing."

As the economy gets worse RP
As the economy gets worse RP support will grow. Stay in the race and save this country.
By staying in the race we give ourselves the best chance.
By staying in the race we give ourselves the best chance.
The world
is watching us. We need to be the shining example Dr. Paul says we can be. Do the right thing.
MORE PATRIOTS THAN THE FIRST AMERICAN REVOLUTION!
FOLKS, WE ALREADY HAVE MORE PATRIOT WARRIORS THEN GENERAL WASHINGTON DID DURING THE FIRST AMERICAN REVOLUTION...THINK ABOUT IT....
Thank you for the reminder
We need each other now more than ever.
Libera me, let the truth break, what my fears make--Leslie Phillips
Remember
The vast majority of people that vote for the other candidates do so for the most superficial reasons. This is obvious from the fact that the candidates, except Ron Paul of course, don't offer ANYTHING other than fluff and sound bites. They are malleable. They are essentially adrift.
The people who are voting for Ron Paul have a CLEAR understanding of what is wrong in this country and what it takes to fix it. When things go bad, only the Ron Paul supporters will have their bearings. Only we will have an explanation and a plan. And we gain new and permanent converts every day.
We will be ready to create the Phoenix that will rise from the ashes.
That is the reason
500,000 is an eye popping number!
we need to focus on the people outside this country
If we stay networked and continue to grow we will get much stronger.People of the world are just as starved for freedom as we are, just think more web sights, get all the people of the world on board and let them know we are not warmongers we dont put up with tyranny where we can do something about it ,we dont want to kill people or take over anyone it is our hi-jacked government that does these things. we need to have them spread the word!the more the marrier
Super Tuesday ??
Come on folks some of us obviously are not voting,I flew from Houston to California to vote for Ron Paul thats where I'm registered.Yesterday was totally depressing,I know Ron Paul has more supporters than this.Come on you have to register and vote.Just talking on the internet isn't going to get. This is serious stuff, can you imagine Mccain in office a Bush clone,or how about Obama,I really don't know how bad things will get with him in office other than a free for all for illegals. VOTE !!!
That is a very strong number
Now I just hope that we realize that and the official campaign makes note of that when they communicate with the media. These are not casual votes. All these people have really endorsed wht Dr Paul stands for. This is a revolution.
Good post!
Half a million Patriots, to this point in the election. Say for fun that 1/2 of those are the true die-hard types that will not compromise what they believe, that will not just lie down and go into that quiet night that is coming for Freedom. More of us are being awakened every day. The message is out there, people are ~getting it~.
I still believe, from the information I am getting online coupled with the info from my family, that the economy is not going to get any better. Even optimistically the markets are in for tough times. This will awaken more people.
If I am judging RP's new book correctly, we even have guidelines coming soon that we can follow. It will solidify our movement as well.
I must say that last night was a low for me... I had really wanted Tuesday to be a better. However, if we get ONE PERSON A DAY to start looking at the facts, then we cannot help but to eventually overcome our current situation. History teaches us this. Look to our own first revolution.
Keep in mind, I am a pessimist by nature. I perfer to call myself a realist, but there you go.
I STILL think that not only does RP and the message have a chance, but that it is inevitable that things will change. America has cancer. We are the cure. It will happen, by sheer willpower and numbers if nothing else.
As others wiser than me have said this morning... stay the course. The message is getting out there. We will eventually prevail. We have no other option.
Very nice thoughts.
I particularly like "However, if we get ONE PERSON A DAY to start looking at the facts, then we cannot help but to eventually overcome our current situation".
I really do believe that we as a group should perform the function of inviting people to have a look at our positions. That is our best shot. And we absolutely need to stop being agressive with people who are not on our side. As Dr Paul says: we need to set an example.

I needed to see those numbers
thank you
561,072 votes are just the tip of the iceberg....
...And are from the ballots that did not get lost, misplaced, or not counted!
P.S. I finally turned off my errant italic tag!

That's a good start.
Let's get out there and keep building on that number.
Imagine if those 561,000
Imagine if those 561,000 gave $10. That is a MONEY BOMB.
McLieberman
Checking out the blogs I find that there is a justifiable fear that McCain will be elected -- this among both liberals and conservatives (whatever those categories might mean). It is slowly being understood that a war with Iran (which is in the minds of such as Lieberman) is not something to be drawn into. Wall Street and the corporations are beginning to get it. McCain sends shivers up their spines, but Hillary and Obama are anathema -- being considered socialists. McCain, the "legendary war hero", from the moment he looked with favor upon Lieberman as his possible V-P, or Sec. of State, suddenly, like a miracle, became the "comeback kid"! But now, the corporate media along with Wall Street, are having second thoughts. McCain is not aging well. The internet survives, and more American death and debt sinking into that bloody religious cesspool in and around Israel will dampen the ardor for more war. Without media support, no one will accept another "Gulf of Tonkin" prank, and without a very dangerous move to set off some terror in the U.S. (dangerous to those involved) the war-fever will finally pass, and with it such neocon props such as McCain. Let's enjoy the show, and continue to support Ron Paul. He's not only going to endure, he will prevail. The neocon capture of our media and our government will end -- one way or another. Its up to them to decide which way.
With NO help from the media!
In the "Old Media" any speck of dust in Ron Paul's closet gets exposed and twisted to look like he killed the pope. The other candidates get none of this type of treatment. The political coverage on the Old Media is one gigantic commercial for the chosen candidates. Ron Paul getting over half a million votes is like winning the Super Bowl for a shunned candidate. America will be forced to heed the message, it is bound to happen when people ask why a depression has spouted. Why weren't they informed of this problem. Documentaries will be made, Ron Paul's censorship will be exposed. It will change the country. The cat is out of the bag and now we know why these things happen. The Revolution is just beginning!
Lunatic fringe
Great stat. We are at least a half of a million strong. Some kind of "lunatic fringe" as described by the Stalinists now in control of the Corporate Military-Industrial Government-Media Complex.
"We don't have to start a brand new revolution...All we have to do is restore the original Constitution." -Ron Paul
Thank God for them
This from an atheist.
agreed, we have been working hard here in TX
I want to see the results. Never give up.
Whether Ron Paul goes third
Whether Ron Paul goes third party doesn't matter. Whether Ron Paul goes to a brokered convention doesn't matter. Whether Ron Paul becomes President doesn't matter. What DOES matter is that now we KNOW there are a lot of like minded individuals with FACTS to back up what we know. This R3VOLUTION isn't about winning this presidency per se. It's about galvanizing support for a total shift in the minds of the populace towards Paulian style government, strict adherence to the Constitution and refusing to be bought. The Presidency would be nice, don't get me wrong :)
As our economy comes crashing down it will be PERFECT timing for us to put up billboards across the country, tv ads on local stations, newspaper ads etc., explaining WHY the system is crashing. WHY we can't police the world. WHY the cost of goods are going up. WHY social security is bankrupt. WHY the terrorists attack us.
The population has been lulled to sleep for quite some time. It is going to take a few years to wake them up, but when we do.....look out!!! Ron Paul has already won folks!! There are now enough of us to come together and actually make a coordinated effort at changing the debate. One of the primary methods of propagandist populace control is to control the debate....what is deemed acceptable and what is not. Well now Ron Paul has put a MASSIVE dent into that control. We just HAVE to keep hammering away until it cracks and then winds up bursting from the pressure of a widespread enlightening of the populace.
I mean, we have Joe Cramer, Stephen Colbert, Glenn Beck and many other mainstream media pundits who are actually going hrmmmmmm this guy is actually making sense. We can't just give up. We have to run with the ball that Ron Paul has handed off to us. As he stated, this is OUR revolution and he is very thankful to be a part of it.
It is now our duty as citizens to strengthen our determination and let it be forged hard as steel by the blatant electioneering attempts done by the mainstream media. Millions of people saw what happened this year and although they know what is right and wrong, they didn't want to *throw their vote away*. You don't know how many people said I agree with Ron Paul whole heartedly, but he just can't win. That's ok you know. THOSE are the people who will become part of this movement as our economy comes tumbling down.
It's about spreading the truth by using the establishments very own propaganda outlets to sway public opinion. I think by and large MANY people never even got to hear Ron Paul's message. It will be up to us to change that. I am bent on changing my country for the better and hope you will all bravely put your face to the wind as we march onward.
Yes, staying the course
In my opinion those that didn't or don't want to throw their vote away are really mislead. These are Primaries and Caucuses. How can you throw a vote away here? In most cases it isn't a vote, but an INDICATION of interest in a particular politician/position.
I would ask that folks don't throw their vote away on who they think might be the candidate...Ron Paul could be the candidate if you vote for him in the still upcoming primaries. He was 2nd in Maine, MT, NV...it can happen!
Unfortunately, I do agree that the economy will bring many to their knees, I only hope it will not be too late when they wake up to what is really going on in this country.
Excellent post.
Excellent post.
