Does anyone really believe the Republican Party would stand idle while their nomination process is hijacked and then endorse Ron Paul as it's candidate?

Reforming the Republican Party, while admirable, would take years if not decades to accomplish.

Remember in 1968 when the Democrats Warmongers wanted to continue the Vietnam War, so they overturned the people's nominee, McCarthy, just so they could select a Presidential nominee, Humphrey, who was pro war. At the 1968 Democratic National Convention, the selection of a Presidential nominee was particularly difficult for the Democrats that year because of the split in the party over the Vietnam War, President Lyndon B. Johnson's decision not to seek re-election (announced March 31st), and Robert Kennedy's assassination (June 6). On one side, Eugene McCarthy, a U.S. senator from Minnesota, ran a decidedly anti-war campaign, calling for immediate withdrawal from the region. On the other side, Vice President Hubert Humphrey, who did not participate in any primaries but controlled enough delegates to secure the nomination, called for a policy more in line with President Johnson's, which focused on making any reduction of force contingent on concessions extracted in the Paris Peace Talks.

The Democrats eventually nominated Humphrey who did not win one primary and was pro Vietnam War. Now it is payback time and the delegates at the RNC will select a Presidential nominee who is anti-war.

Became a DELEGATE for Dr. Paul at the 2008 RNC, make history once again and end the Iraq War.

MA. Caucus April 5th

Participated in the 9th district caucus today. We got one out of the possible 6 delegates . However the 6th delegate postion ended in a three way tie to be decided next week. Two of the three choices are RP supporters
I was pleased at our modest success. The McCain supporters were subdued and lacked enthusiasm.
I would suggest that anyone seeking a delegate position bring as many "friends" as possible and improve your chances of winning. It was my first time trying to be a delegate and regret not recruiting more of my "friends." I got the feeling that the MA. GOP is ripe for change from within!!

And what you all are saying is true. We missed cleaning up the whole slate by 2-3 votes. Prepare early and often. I dont have alot of time but will check in later. Some districts did a clean sweep 2 others did as well as mine and I have not heard from others. Please listen to Dr Steve. Although Massachusetts is alot different than others please listen. The only thing we could do today was vote for delegates. One of our delegates is still in high school and got 87 of 90 votes. He cleaned house
