Dr. Ron Paul has 30 years under his belt of upholding the standard of freedom (most of the time by himself) in America. All while he was mocked and called crazy. Just for simply wanting to follow the Constitution.
How long have you been holding up this standard? NOT by yourself I might add...
6 months? 2 months? 2 years? 10 years? 9 months?
How ever long it is, I'm sure for most of you reading this it isn't anything like what Dr. Paul has gone through. Did he quit? NO! Did he slow down? NO!
So SHUT UP you nay saying hypocrites. SILENCE your negativity. We CAN and WILL go to the RNC and WIN!!!!!!
Just think of Ron......alone.......in the darkness....the only flame of hope.....the only voice of reason.........until we came.............

I would say 17, maybe 18 years, but not as long as Dr. Paul. I just do not live in La La land thinking we can wait and try to win the RNC in September. Do you have a meetup group? Do you know how hard it would be to convince my members to actively campaign for Ron Paul on the slim hope he won a brokered convention in September? Then the MSM media freak out that the GOP candidate that won the popular election did not get the party nomination but the one who had the least votes did. What world do you live in that you really think that Ron Paul could somehow broker a convention in September then beat Hillary/Obama in November? Do we have a chance to win? Yes! But that chance is to start now and get the message out and focus on being on the ballot in November as a 3rd party and not sitting back and hoping for a unrealistic and even if it turned out, a non wining position in September. We are in this to win it and the best way to keep momentum and gain support is to go 3rd party now and not wait till September. Then it will be too late if we win or lose the GOP.

I still support Ron Paul and his ideas, but you are taking this way too far. You think RP will win the RNC nomination? Give me a reason to believe you. And I don't want feelings, I want facts. The revolution is one of ideas. It is no longer trying to get RP nominated for the RNC. Get a grip.
You can tell me to shut up all you want, you fascist, but I will continue to exercise my freedom of speech. Flag me all you want, but the Constitution guarantees my right to say all of this, you hypocrite.

In reality, he is suggesting that this is a very long battle that isn't over, yet. What's too far about that?

I hear disappointment in your tone. I agree that the world does not opperate the way it should and if there was any justice, we wouldn't be having to fight this battle. But that's reality. The price of freedom is eternal vigilence.

Being told to shut up is hypocritical on the DP. Trying to silence dissent is a fascist principle, not one that Ron Paul would participate in.

I love the headline of this thread. As it says, RP has been doing it for 30 years. Now after less than one, people seem to be conceding defeat. Note I'm not talking about the RNC nomination - I am speaking of the awesome movement that RP has awakened. I really hope that this is the start of a serious change in this country.

Is there any way that you people can discuss opposing points of view without resorting to insulting one another? We sound like a bunch of squabbling fifth graders on here. Stop with the divisive language. There are a lot of people on here who have many points of view, many different opinions. To pre-emptively start name-calling is just ridiculous.
