I KNOW PEOPLE WHO WOULD NEVER SWITCH TO AN OPPOSING PARTY FOR THE CANDIDATE WHICH THEY LIKE NEVER MIND A 3RD PARTY CANDIDATE THEY CAN"T SEE AFTER WATCHING COPS IN A PARTY THEY'VE NEVER HEARD OF.
Even in the case of a good shot at a third party run, THEN YOU HAVE TO PULL EQUALLY FROM DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS.
The Third Parties DO NOT HAVE THE FOOTVOTES WE NEED.

Ron has already originated within the Republican party a new life and vigor for the party, he has no interest in other parties now. Please stop your whining and come ove to his party the party he has chosen to reform.

For all we care HuckaMacaMittaHillaObama could win but we have the truth on our side an know there is not a dimes worth of difference. We are going to fight for freedom, and right now a 3rd party run seems the best choice, but no matter what we will WIN. Its either going to be the Ron Paul people that bring this country up or we are going to save it when it goes down. The rest of you have no friggen clue what is going on!

If you're running as an
If you're running as an Independent or 3rd party candidate, why would you need delegates? Delegates are needed to win party nominations, namely republican & democratic. What does it matter in this scenario? RP hardly has any delegates in the republican nomination anyway, so it's clear he's not going to be the nominee for THAT party.
Where are the third party candidates campaigning? Umm, everywhere. With nine months of solid campaigning, this grassroots effort can pull in well over 33% of the popular vote. I am convinced of that. If you are not, then I feel sorry for you and your defeatist attitude.
How will a third party raise funds? Simple, through us. We raised 20 million in 3 months with a lot less support than we do now. In 9 months, at the minimum, we can raise 60-70 million. Ross Perot pulled in 20% of the vote in 1992 with 60 million. And that INCLUDES him dropping out of the race during the summer. If he never dropped out, it would have been higher.
The playing field for an Independent candidate has never been better than it is today. Half the country REFUSE to vote for Hillary. McCain is nobody's darling. Half the population as of right now does not even vote. 70% of the American people want our troops out of Iraq. Ron Paul is the only one who promises immediate removal of them.

OK.. I'll go there one more time, then just stop looking at third party posts.
If you believe that RP has little or no delegates, you are confused, misinformed, or delusional. Don't rely on the MSM to give you the numbers. Research here or on the ronpaulforums boards to figure it out.
As far as money, Perot indeed spent 60 million to get not enough of the vote. Today, that dollar amount would be around 500 million. Try THAT money bomb on for size.. not.
The other factor is debates (we won't be invited) getting your name ON the ballots (millions of dollars, and you won't get them on all the ballots anyways) and media exposure (we will get none.)
Then on the vote for the GENERAL election, take away the majority of votes from party voters.. for example here, republicans. The pie problem again, if you bothered to read about it earlier.
There is a plan in place that will get us to a brokered convention.. take the time to read about it on posts here and elsewhere. It is working.
Defeatist is giving up the GOP platform and attempting a third party run that, as pointed out to you time and time again so far this morning, will not work. Period.
Again.. you have an internet connection. USE it, research the topic before stumbling into this conversation. It will not only make you more informed, it will make you look a little more intelligent.
