8 years-old, and homeschooled as well, made a similar statement to me: "Ron Paul isn't going to give up, is he?" Holding back tears myself, I told him that true patriots DO NOT give up on LIBERTY.

He said, "Good." It actually made him feel better. It's amazing how this revolution is not only changing us, but also how our children perceive our country, and the world.

We'll go to the store, and my son will tell the cashier with a straight and honest face that the dollars aren't really dollars, they are notes or bills of credit made out of pieces a of paper. "They are really only worth 4 cents," he'll say to the cashier. Clueless cashier will smile ingorantly without any understanding of what he means.

If our children are so BOLD for honesty and LIBERTY in government, so we must be also. It's for their future that we fight on!!

But there is even more in the revolution. Ron may be dead by the time my kids can vote but remember proverbs: train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.

My kids ask me everyday how the election is going...infact, in school my daughter does this project called "TIME for kids" where they get a kid version of TIME magazine and report on current events. A few weeks ago they covered the election and had pictures of Mc, Rom, Huck, Ghoul, and Thomp...but not Paul. My daughter actually got made fun of for pointing out that Paul was missing.

I can't quit this, no matter what the outcome....this is a fight that actually never ends. We're really in this mess because we got lazy and stopped watching and caring about what was going on. I can never go back to that, and have to set the example for my kids.

PS...I'm a PA person myself....good to know that we have people in our state that will stick it through. =)

And I have to tell her that if I dont play with Ron Paul right now, I may not be able to play with you later. Sad I feel that way, but I my Grandchildren will never be able to say Grandpa didnt try to keep us free.

My 8-year old daughter's third grade teacher did a section on the presidential election yesterday - Democrats, Republicans, sample ballots, etc. All well and good. Teach them to be responsible citizens. She talked about the Democrat & Republican cadidates (without a mention of Paul). My daughter proudly raised her hand to say that Ron Paul was also one of the Repubicans running. The teacher then said, "Oh ya, but I'd never vote for him." Needless to say, I was floored, but my daughter wasn't. "She's probably voting for that mean McCain guy. We know Ron Paul is the best," she said.
So teach your children well, for they are the future. And keep in mind they learn best by example. Fight on!

I have two boys I'm raising and there is no way I'm going to give them anything less than freedom. I've already started with no tv for them, they have to play all day with their toys :) My 4 year old has already built really cool space ships and airplanes with some of his building toys. I don't want to see his creativity lost, and I don't want him stifled. He already asks why Grandma, grandpa, and papa have to work so much. Our daughter is the one who first told us about Ron Paul. She told us to watch "Ron Pau:Stop Dreaming" and also "America: Freedom to Facism".

After we watched these videos, our eyes opened for the first time towards "politics". We have never been involved in "politics" before. We finally found someone we could believe in and believe in his message.

We still want Ron Paul to some how, some way become our next President, not just for us but for the future of our daughter (and for her children some day). We will not stop fighting for liberty either. Even if we are all "down" right now (emotionally), we all need to continue to tell others about Ron Paul and continue the "Revolution".

The Doctor has fought, and been bruised, against the slings and arrows of outrageous collectivists from both socialist and fascist/corporatist realms for 30yrs without anyone backing him in Congress. How must he feel, once we decide to give up, only after one day, of one measly skirmish, without fully educating ourselves on the reality of delegates and brokered convention process? I believe his granddaughters in the latest radio interview, when they say that one very important lesson and impression he has made upon them, is to never give up. Never quit, without seeing it through. And his official campaign HQ's message is the same. Delegates, delegates, delegates. Brokered convention, brokered convention, brokered convention. We should be wise to listen and instead of drowning in ourselves in sorrow. We should strategize based on that plan, the end goal of making it to the convention. Remember, without a 51% majority and after first round of votes at the election without a majority, the delegates are free to elect WHOMEVER.

WE HAVE THE BEST CHANCE at restoring our long lost rights, freedoms, and liberties, more so than any other time in modern history, since the downward spiral that the nation's first recorded neoCON, Woodrow Wilson, put us on.

Dr. Ron Paul has stood alone for 30yrs. The least we can do is spend a bit of our lives fighting to ensure that the next generation of Americans have the tools and educated judgment to restore the Constitution, for the next 30yrs, and the next 231yrs, and more. After all that we have accomplished in the last year, it'd be foolish and utterly arrogant of us, without any respect for certain amount of due diligence required and derived patience from it, which clearly, history asserts that these things do take time.

I wish there's a long lost CSPAN broadcast of this speech. It is the most single handedly succinct treatise on the state of the world in one speech. Describing America in historical and Constitutional context, in ONE, single page. Okay, one hearty page. Probably one of the best speeches I've ever read that strikes at the heart of reality.

Bill......we're in a similar situation. Yes, we were ALL feeling down today. But, as they say, the past is done and now we'll just work to get Ron Paul elected.

I am a GOP Precinct chair in Texas. I have family members & friends running for office & it looks like its going to be a victory. I will be a delegate to the county convention & hopefully the state & then national. I am planning on running for office in two years. I am changing the party on a local level & I can see the difference just because of the Ron Paul Presidential race. People from all over are coming together for a common cause & will continue to do so long after this election. This movement has nothing to do with Ron Paul. It has to do with freedom & our constitution rights. I have two small children & I will continue to sacrifice & fight against any and all odds until God calls me home.

Thanks for sharing that. I've been blue all day following the Super Tuesday results myself. I went to the library today, and checked out several magazines, including Time and Newsweek. None of them mentioned Ron Paul. One talked about Bloomberg, and his possible multi-million dollar bid for the presidency. Time had article spotlighting young people involved in the the Presidential race. I thought cool, they have to have something in it about Ron Paul. Nope, not a word. You would have thought Ron Paul and his many youthful supporters had just vanished from the face of the earth. Like they never had existed.

I'm fifty years old, and seeing this blatant media blackout on cable and in print scares me--it is so Orwellian and Fahrenheit 451 enabled. But your daughter was right--Out of the mouth of babes, thou has perfected wisdom-- We can't give up. Not unless we want to see our sons and daughters become chattel of the state, conscripted into National service or the military for the benefit of the political elite. We must become ongoing witnesses to our children and extended family of this time that we are going through. This is how it must have felt in Germany during the 1930's, when the Weimar Republic gave way to the brownshirts. I recommend everyone to keep printed articles, books and diaries of this time, and writings of Ron Paul, as well as and other notable libertarians. No doubt they will become outlawed contraband in the future. Our experience now will be the only testament of what is going on. Our experiences of this time must not be forgotten, lest our future descendants have no past frame of reference, because of retroactively edited history by the controlled media. This is what all conquerors do when they take over a nation--Forbid the expression of traditions, teachings and past history, in the effort to raise up a disenfranchised generation that will be ignorant of anything better. Thus stripped of their constitutional heritage, and knowledge of their inalienable rights, they will be easy to control as pawns of the state. We must carry out, lest our children reproach us for allowing chains be put upon them.

in our Patriots dictionary, we are in a war for our civil liberties and for the TRUE greatness of our country, McCain, Romney & Huck will never get the nomination for the Republican party it will not only end our country but it will also end our Constitution and that will not happen under my watch.

We have a caucus in Kansas Saturday and I am hoping those people who I have talked too will be there and maybe we can show the country the real Conservative candidate for President, Ron Paul.

There are thousands of public schools in this country, yet not one teaches children the truth about the Federal Reserve. We need State Initiatives requiring that the truth about fiat money and central banking be taught in public schools. We also need brave and dedicated individuals to run for state school boards so they can start voting to institute conservative, Christian curriculum in local schools. In Kansas, there is a big push to down play the absurd and ridiculous idea of Darwinian evolution. We need to do the same on all fronts. And when the US Supreme Court tries to tell us we can't, we will do it anyway.

The desire for Freedom is in the inherent makeup of mankind. We have an opportunity to fight for freedom and keep that flame alive and well. Those who understand, have an obligation to history. NO, we are not giving up nor we will allow the light of freedom that burns in the breast of every man, woman and child that graces this planet we call earth, to be extinguished in this, or any battle of will. I'm never giving up. In fact, I got to talk to a woman that works at the local gas station in town about Ron Paul. She said she would check him out. Said she hadn't heard of him. I explained why. Said she would go balistic if Hillary were to be president.

That one hit home. I've got a nine year old son at home who wants to go into the US Air Force and fly jets. I doubt very seriously that I'll ever have enough money to send him to college, so the military may be his only means to an education. I'll be damned if I'm going to let him be fodder for McCain's 100 year War!!!! I'm in this fight with you and hell no, we're not giving up!
