What About A Paul - Huckabee ticket?

There are significant advantages in this theory.
Huck has already won 5 states.
we would have taken 5 or 6 more states than huckabee did alone.
Romney and McCain would have had less.

no.

ron paul 2008

No, thank you... No

Please, NO. A man of integrity paired with a chameleon? No, please.
Let Dr. Paul find his VP.

I would rather vote for a socailist

I do not support those who use God to achieve power and then use that power to kill.. In my opinion Huck is just like Bush.. Nope I would rather die than vote for him..

Huckabee is...

.. Pure Grade-A CFR Approved (which means more wars and accelerated deficit spending).

How about NOT?

A believer in the separation church and state paired with a non-believing theocrat?

What are you smoking and where can I get some?

"Welcome to 2008: The Year of Ron Paul!"

Church and State...

Dr. Paul doesn't believe in any "separation of church and state" (but don't freak out -- he doesn't believe churches should run the government either)...

Ron Paul --
"The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers. On the contrary, our Founders’ political views were strongly informed by their religious beliefs. Certainly the drafters of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, both replete with references to God, would be aghast at the federal government’s hostility to religion. The establishment clause of the First Amendment was simply intended to forbid the creation of an official state church like the Church of England, not to drive religion out of public life."

We would have some influence

If we get to a brokered convention how would you approach it?

No

.

You know where Dr. Paul would be most effective

Aside from POTUS is the Secretary of State. Perhaps, some of the foreign policies would make sense.

I would rather see him as SoS vs VP..

Laughing Out Loud - THANKS for this post

After reading some of your responses I found myself laughing out loud for the first time today.

At least most of us are on the same page.

Huck is puke in the brain....my eyes, my eyes....priceless.

You're kidding, right?

Which one do you think is going to concede their views on Iraq, Fair tax, et al? Not Ron Paul. And if Huckabee did, then I would have no respect for him, because it would mean he is changing his views for political convenience rather than actual individual conversion to Ron Paul's beliefs.

After 30 years standing alone in his beliefs, do you really think Ron Paul is going to compromise himself for such a shotgun wedding political alliance? You don't know the man. Go back and do some remedial reading on Dr. Paul as penance.

OOOOWWWWW MY EYES MY EYES

This post made me temporarily blind.

Lol, come on we're talking politics here.

strategy people . If you don't agree then what are your thoughts?

oOo

a Paul-Huckabee ticket... hmmm...

~SWAT~

Have you been paying attention to the message?

You weren't offering the vice presidency.

Just discussion.

Oh

Sorry.. ok. let's discuss this.

Lemme see... Huck is a CFR member... so if he's a VP, then Paul gets shot, and he's the president.

If Paul is VP, he is shot, and someone else is the VP.

Doesn't work for me either way... ~shrug~

No, Huck is not a CFR member

He got a CFR "adviser" about the time of his "surge" before Iowa, BUT, that was not so long ago. And I'm not endorsing this, but would like to know what direction, realistically should we go?

We want the r3VOIution to LIVE!

I have registered as a committee member and am thinking about running for office, IF the revolution lives and STICKS TOGETHER. You?

Nobody is an ~Official~ CFR member anymore

and running for president because it is a HUGE red flag to voters. However, you can still be involved with the CFR.. check his advisors....lol

So not ~officially~ CFR, as in on the website.. sure, I'll go with that. A CFR member tho?.. of course he is.

This is a sickening post

Just reading this turns my stomach. Huck is corrupt and Paul wouldn't have anything to do with this man.

I can see it now, they assasinate Paul and in steps the anti-christ.

I am with him.

He had the nerve last night to say that he was getting ron paul supporters who where voting for him, i would rather stay home.

Only

I would only support that if Huck were VP and if he were wired to Dr. Paul in such a way that if something happened to Dr. Paul, Huck would blow up.

I think I saw that movie

I think I saw that movie before lolz

I would only support that

If Huck was the VP.

What if that was the best deal we could get?

It would secure a pulpit that could not be ignored.
