Adopt A Lone-Star Meetup Group!!

Texas needs us. Now.
Let's each adopt a Texas Meetup Group -- contact the organizer, tell them you're there via the Daily Paul and you want to help them win votes for Ron Paul in Texas! Offer to help by phoning people in their precincts, sending emails, letters to their town paper, forwarding leftover signs and literature you may have -- whatever you can do remotely to help win Texas.
Below you'll find a list of only some of the TX Meetup groups. I only took clubs from Abilene and in or near Addison -- that's only TWO areas out of 50 in Texas that have Meetup groups! -- there are a lot of groups in TX, which is good news for them, and work for us. That's okay -- we're up for it, right???
I would suggest first hitting up the newer groups, and groups with the smallest number of members, to give them the boost they need. Also, we want to spread the love, so when you contact your TX Meetup group of choice, ask if they already have a Daily Paul friend helping them out. If they do, please consider lending your support to another Meetup that doesn't yet have our power added to them.
We can do this! Let's git 'er done! Tell us in the comments section which group YOU have adopted, so we know which ones still need support!

Everyone who can, should come. Vincent feels very strongly about this, and he knows more how the troops think than any of us.
Why
We all appreciate the men who defend our country, but we want them to know that we want them here, defending us at home, not fighting a bloody interventionist war that will never end.

Details
Most of you probably met Vincent ( fastest flag-waver of all time!) Saturday at our sign wave/ caravan. He recently returned from Iraq to Fort Hood before leaving the service.
He believes that the troops at Fort Hood would respond more favorably to Ron Paul if we go down there and show them with CROWDS and SIGNS for Ron Paul which are also showing SUPPORT FOR THE TROOPS. His plan is to man the 2 main gates at the noon hour when most of the 30,000 troops leave the post for lunch. They evidently have quite a traffic jam trying to get back on post, so the lanes full of soldiers will be inching past the gates with lots of time to read our messages.
Vincent has set February 20th as the day for this excursion to Fort Hood. He is arranging the details with the post. He asked me to ask all of you who can to SET ASIDE THAT DAY. SEE BELOW FOR ADDED DETAILS. The plan is to combine several central Texas groups and meetup with large numbers. He was in the Austin meetup (largest one there is), and we'll contact several other meetups.
This sounds like a great idea to me. Please be thinking up slogans which link Ron Paul's platform with the troops. We need specific signs that will persuade them!!
I have cd's of photos that he took while in the Green Zone in Baghdad, if anyone wants a copy.
OK---here's an update from Vincent: We will meetup at 10:30 at the K-MART PARKING LOT at the corner of
Hwy 190 and Fort Hood St. I'm sure he will have his flag--he asks that some of us bring flags, also. Make signs ahead of time that are specific to supporting the troops and bringing them home. We will divide into two groups and move to the two main gates at 11:15.
THIS IS SUCH A GOOD CHANCE TO INFLUENCE OUR OWN MILITARY!! The fact that we are taking time off from work to stand there and show support to them is POWERFUL!!! THis is EXCITING!!!

C'mon, I just know there are a lot of ya burnin' with support for our main Texan man Ron Paul! You're just bursting forth with support and need to let it out! You're not side-windered by yesterday's results! Let's all whomp these Meetup groups and their districts with all the support we c'n muster! It's the Wild Voter Roundup -- YEEahhhh!!!

We have several precinct leaders who could use materials! We are going to be church canvassing and going to small businesses all in the next week! I am going to be working my own precinct friday, and we are pushing hard to get people signed up as delegates!!!
