Or giant bowling ball. (pickup truck with 5 inch thick plate front and gel filled tires would do the job. It's not like they will be able to run very fast.

Balloons full of gas and a bow and arrow with a flame on the end of the arrow. Plastic sticks when it melts. Not really that scary. Kind of stupid actually.
