Hiya sorryrom, want to welcome you, and thanks for letting us know your thoughts. By the way if Ron Paul were not here I might have voted for Romney as the lesser of evils. 'Course, actually I had not voted in 20 years and the only reason I registered this time is because I checked out some Ron Paul youtube videos at the urging of a friend and became completely inspired that we can actually return this country back to its intended path, prosperity and freedom, with nations as friends.

Just one note, there are a few emotional people onboard here that spew venom with reckless abandon, but the majority of us are thoughful intelligent people. So try not to let the few rabid ones get you down, just ignore them, they'll grow out of it some day as they gain more real life experience and/or get married, lol.

Sorry but everyone here that calls themselves a Ron Paul supporter knows what I'm talking about. Romney, his staff, and his "supporters" are NOT the type of Americans I want to associate myself with. You are what's wrong with our country!!!

Romney was a complete phony! I mean people from Massachusetts think he's a liberal--what more evidence do you need? Jay Leno said on national TV, people didn't know who was more liberal Romney or Kennedy? So I ask you, why jump on board with someone like Dr.Paul? Why not jump in bed with the rest of the phonies (McCain, Obama, Clinton)? It seems strange, and I have to raise the BS flag here.

Ron Paul is the polar opposite of Romney. Ron Paul is honest, direct, and a man of integrity. Romney is the complete opposite. So, that makes me question you because anyone to support Romney is either a phony or just plain stupid.

Any questions feel free to ask! And if some of us come across to be kind of cocky is because there is a lot of know it alls. You will become one too very shortly!

Mitt was my second chocie; but I understand we need a president who is not CFR agenda; so I went with Ron.

On this forum, and this is true whenever you have thousands of folks -- people say things online that they would not say in person. So, please do not take offense at some of those folks who are more blunt and forceful in their comments.

With Mitt out -- there will now begin a serious debate about running as a third party candidate. Some will be forceful for -- others as passionate against.

The word "troll" is tossed around here by people who do not like what they are reading -- do not take those comments to heart.

You will notice a passion of anger against the current campaign leadership of the NHQ.

What happened was -- Ron hired some of his longtime personal/political friends to lead his campaign -- they in turn brought in others -- some relatives were hired -- just a mess. Some double dipping going on in other areas of spending - just a real mess --- the big problem is that not one of these folks ever succesfully ran or won a presidential primary before.

Some of these folks worked very hard on his 88 campaign which received around 1% of the vote. So they do not know how to win.

Anyways -- emails not answered -- phone calls not returned -- the story goes on -- you will quickly read their stories --

Many volunteers have walked away out of anger -- mad that we raised millions -- that were spent poorly -- thousands of volunteers spending hundreds of hours -- for 3% of the vote.

The bottom line is if Ron wants to run a competitive 3rd party run -- he needs to restructure his campaign leadership, and bring in people who have won - and know how to win.

We are grateful for the effort the campaign leadership has put in -- try tried -- they are good people that have spent years fighting for the Constitution -- but expecting them to win -- when they never had before -- was expecting a Lawn Mower Repairman to do Open Heart Surgery.

Let us pray Ron Paul can make these changes soon -- because we need to be about our business of saving the Constitution.

You are truly principled and we're glad to have you believing we're electable. The alternatives are ridiculous as many people believe. I know "WOW really?!". America is not done for, but it needs your help, hell it needs everyone's. Please continue to fervently help us. We need all the help we can get from everyone.

The democrats have done a great job of hoodwinking the country into silly placidity. We need to explode with the truth. We need to be huge.

With your help, one by one, America will see the light. Power be with you and your friends! Truth wins in the end.

Glad you seem to have found a new home here. I'll try to adress your Iraq issue for you.

1. I understand your bieng Hesitant about leaving Iraq in less than 6months. It's really a non issue though. Bush will be in office longer than that and he will never withdraw the troops. You'll get more than 6 more months even if Ron gets into office.

2. Wanting to stay in Iraq is becoming a moot issue. The thing people tend to miss is that we can't afford it anymore. Wether you would want to stay or not and wether the idea seemed like the best idea, it's just not feasable. We are going bankrupt and at the rate this war is eating our money we have no choice but to leave or be sucked under.

This is why I think Ron Paul is the right answer for both positions on the war. We don't have to agree and can respect both sides of the issue. Pro and Anti war people can both get together if the fate of our nation is at risk.
What we want to do and what we are capable of just don't match up sometimes.

Dr. Paul is a foreign policy expert, that's the President's job. He is a wise man and he wouldn't be applying for a job he had no clue about. The country is also going bankcrupt and Ron Paul has been talking about cutting the spending for tens of years.

Yeah, I dont think leaving Iraq will cause chaos. If Paul is running against a Democrat canidate then the Iraqi's will probably know what way the wind is blowing and will have to stand up for their own nation and become functional. There is nothing like he threat of tyranny to motivate people. Iraq would be free to choose if they want to even be a nation at all.. they may separate into 3 independent nations.

Also, you know Paul does have a plan to fight terrorism.. its pretty decent actually. Instead of invading nations and all the trouble with changing government, and accidents with innocents, fighting insurgency, etc, Paul's plan is to use a Letter of Mark and Reprisal to hunt terrorists the same way we hunted pirates. (who are similar to terrorists) Essentially what this would do is allow us to unleash our own version of terrorists like the mercenary force Blackwater (or any other group) who then can hunt Al Qaeda anywhere in the world they may run but at their own peril. (this means no more hiding in Pakistan) It's absolutely constitutional and allows us to fight terrorism, make our country safe, and keep our liberties all at the same time.

Most definatly a warm welcome and here is to many more like you! I did some more research on romney and he wasnt TOO far off on some things...i just could never trust him...he changed his possitions a lot. If i had a second choice(you know i dont) it would have been Romney.
