MSM Acts like Ron Paul doesn't exist!
I just turned on the TV (NBC local Seattle) and they started talking about Romney dropping out and then they say the field is down to 2. Then they showed Huckabee saying the field is down to 2 this is ridiculous.
output

They mean Ron against
They mean Ron against Hillary ; )
Where have you been Graham?
This didn't just happen today. This has been going on for weeks now. Welcome back though, clearly you've been on vacation.
Then onto the Paris Hilton soap opera...

What to say
When anyone tells me this I say, Are you kidding? He's the only one with the money to continue, he won LA, got 25% second in MT, and is getting thousands at rallies.
As for your TV station, I WOULD CALL EACH AND EVERY TIME I HEARD THAT and tell them they might actually be violating FEC rules by making people think this.
You can also call and complain to the FEC betwee 8:30AM-5:30PM ET.

ron paul 2008
You think they would go
You think they would go running to Paul when they hear that.
It's funny. When I suggested
It's funny. When I suggested in an email to my local meetup group that we should drive our cars past the local CBS afilliate when the were ignoring the good doctor in the early stages of the race before Iowa they got rather indignant and said I shouldn't do because the Doc wouldn't appreciate it. I suggested honking like hell as you drove past, circle the block and do it all over again. At least they'll hear us. They might not get much work done inside but they will hear us.
Was this a stupid idea. I didn't think so at the time and I still don't, especially now that we are down to "2" candidates.
Any comments?
I think driving around their
I think driving around their station honking forever is FINE. I am so sick of them. SICK. If we do not do something to show we are still around, NO ONE who is not on the internet will know!! Next they will cut OUR cables. We need to FIGHT. Schedule a honking demonstration.
Right On...Thanks....I think
Right On...Thanks....I think I'll start a new topic about this.
My mom called me to ask me
My mom called me to ask me if Ron Paul had dropped out. They were just talking about one conservative left, Huckabee. LOL!!! They were saying McCain was too liberal. Never mentioned ron Paul.
I say Go Ron Paul!!!!
Alan Keyes
He's still running too. Most Paul supporters pretend he doesn't exist either. So don't cast stones.
Keyes
Keyes *IS* what one would consider a minor candidate. He is not very visible, didn't raise much money, so yeah...
He didn't even get .01% in any primaries.
didn't realize
he was still running... he was my write in vote last election.
my dream ticket would be Paul/Keyes '08 =)
but this year it's Paul, even if I have to write him in. Might still put Keyes for VP, is one thing I think might safeguard Paul if they even think about getting rid of him. Keyes isn't as... mellow as the good Dr. One reason I like him. Same basic message though.
get real...
he was never in the race. If he raises 20mil in a quarter then we can talk.
LOL
I love your humor enigma4life
Your Right, he SHOULD have raised more money then that guy Huckabee and McCain!!!
"Many of us agree that you and I have no right to use coercion against people who don't owe us anything. The same prohibition applies to groups of people who constitute the government. The reason is simple: unjust acts do not become just when legalized."
Get real
You know damned well that if that money hadn't been raised, Paul supporters would be complaining that the media was being unfair based on the fact that Paul hadn't raised much money. The cry would be that the media should cover everybody and it shouldn't be about money or polling.
Money Bombs seem to get their attention
Somebody contact the young man who arranged the first money bomb. Let them know we are hear and we will be heard!
You must be kidding?
There were several money bombs set up and all were ignored. There were too many of them.
I think we should continue to simply donate directly to the campaign when we can...

That might not be *the* one, step in the right direction.
I want to see multiple lawsuits coming at them from all directions!!!!
It was on local TV but I think it was a national broadcast
It was on local TV but I think it was a national broadcast
EXACTLY the same report in HOUSTON on NBC!
ALL local channels are controlled by Corporate so their lies can be spread nationwide in a consistent manner.
The MSM is fake.
I'm glad that Romney supporters will now take a look at what's going on in the fight to win our freedoms back.
CBS News: "Now just 2 GOP candidates to choose from"
How do they get away with this? Promoting McCain as the clear winner and Huckabee as the only other choice with NO mention of Ron Paul implying that he has dropped out. This is truly criminal and I would find it impossible to believe if I were not witnessing it for myself.
Support the class-action suit against MSM.
FEC complaints
Every time you hear this, write it down! Time, place, make a list. Then call the FEC.

It is so sickening
how the MSM treats Dr. Paul like he doesn't exist or has the plague...and the lies are just plain pathetic.... I heard a song one time that said "I would love to spit some beechnut in that dudes eyes" (I don't know who sung it-be a good video for RP though) and If I chewed tobacco, I just might be tempted to do just that to those phony news-reporters. It would be different if they just didn't agree with RP's issues, BUT, gave RP ample time to address the nation in debates, etc; and acknowledge that he STILL is in the race and treated him like the humble man he is....
G-d Bless Dr. Paul!

I watched the show. Glen
I watched the show. Glen Beck says, "If we had a candidate that would just read the constitution...."
I was ripping my hair out!
Come on now
If Ron Paul were actually competitive he would get media coverage. He has absolutely no chance to win the Republican nomination, and neither does Huckabee. It's time to be realistic. McCain has the nomination wrapped up. Ron Paul should drop out and run on the Constitution Party ticket. It's his only chance to stay in the race until November. But of course the media isn't going to pay attention to someone who has 14 delegates when McCain has over 700. Paul should do the noble thing as Romney did and drop out of the race. It's pointless to go on when you're getting beat this badly. He should simply run on the Constitution Party ticket and challenge McCain from the right.
NH results are bogus
Someone said 8% and that's what he got.
The third party suggestion if it were even legal, is a set up for failure.
Go away troller. Member for how long?
No one here likes to admit it, but you're right
We lost any realistic chance at the nomination in November/December when we failed to convert fundraising and a media boomlet into poll numbers. The NH results were just the confirmation. Not only is McCain on track to win, we would have to win almost all remaining delegates to beat him.
I'm not sure I agree with a Constitution Party run (I'm partial to the Libertarian Party myself) but it's clearly time to assess exactly what this campaign is trying to accomplish. Getting a few dozen more delegates in caucus states is not worth millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours.
Ron Paul is no dummy...
...I'm a Constitution Party supporter, but I'll trust Dr. Paul to decide if he is going to drop out of the GOP race and take up a third party mantle.
It's still a LONG way to September and the GOP convention. Anything can happen. What if Senator McCain becomes ill, or they find out something in his past that makes him unelectable (think Thomas Eagleton).
So let's trust that RP has the wisdom to know what he needs to do to get elected.
Let's Reign! (Rev. 5:10)
RP just said it...
He's in it for the long haul. No 3rd parties, no giving up, IF you all support him with your $$ and time. So it depends on you. But he's in it for the long haul...said so himself not an hour ago.
Who'da thunk we'd have some McCain supporters here.
how many different threads are you going to post this on?
ron paul 2008
Go F yourself
Sorry to quote Cheney, but you deserve it.
Freak
Why? Because I'm not some irrational extreme freak like yourself who thinks that Paul will win regardless of the overwhelming evidence showing that he won't? People like yourself are the reason why Paul does so poorly in the election results. SOME of Paul's supporters are so irrational that people simply won't vote for a guy who has such hateful supporters. I would certainly support Paul in a third party bid over McCain. So I'm hardly anti-Paul. I'm simply not an irrational nut case like yourself.
Look..
Let's just say YOU'RE giving up and WE aren't. Buh-BYE!
I guess you haven't heard?
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 6, 2008
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – With the results of many of the “Super Tuesday” primaries and caucuses now finalized, the Ron Paul campaign is now projecting that it has at least 42 delegates to the national convention secured.
While much of the focus in yesterday’s Super Tuesday contests focused on preference poll numbers, Ron Paul caucus-goers were focused on securing delegates to the national convention. With dedicated supporters and an organization focused purely on securing delegates, the campaign has secured more delegates to the national convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul than caucus straw polls might otherwise suggest.
According to campaign projections, a minimum of 24 delegates were won in yesterday’s contests. When added to projected delegates coming from strong showings in Iowa (4), Nevada (8), Louisiana (3) and Maine (3), that brings the total delegate count to 42 delegates or more.
“Our goal has always been to walk into the national GOP convention with as many delegates as possible,” said Ron Paul 2008 campaign manager Lew Moore. “The number of delegates we won yesterday could very well be the difference in a Convention where no one has a first-ballot majority. With Dr. Paul’s home state of Texas coming up, we feel we can enter the convention with a substantial number of delegates.”
In an agreement first reported by West Virginia television station WSAZ, three Ron Paul delegates were secured through an agreement with the Mike Huckabee campaign at the West Virginia state convention early Tuesday. Ron Paul delegates to the state convention swung their sizable support to Huckabee – putting Huckabee over the top – in exchange for the delegates.
According to campaign projections from last night’s results at least 3 delegates were won in Alaska, 5 delegates were won in North Dakota, 9 delegates were won in Minnesota, and 4 delegates were won in Colorado.
Additionally the results of the Louisiana Caucus may still change in favor of Ron Paul, where an ongoing legal challenge may result in most of that state’s delegates going towards Ron Paul after state GOP officials violated their own rules to improperly put delegates from other campaigns on the ballots.
Ok
My bad. The number is a little higher than I thought. But I still don't think that Paul or Huckabee has a chance. McCain is simply too far ahead in the delegate race. I don't like the fact that he is, as I would much rather have Paul as the Republican nominee. But the math simply doesn't make it possible for either Paul or Huckabee to catch McCain.
Time to bomb them with emails
We need to let them know that we are still here. We should have a mass email day to MSM and let them know we are still here and Ron Paul is still in this campaign. Flood them with emails until they give Ron Paul some free press time and let the people know that he is still in the race. When should we start.
EMAIL BOMB! Yes.
Glow I would like to delegate this job to you.
Can you look up all the feeback addresses for the major networks and post back?
We need to have an EMAIL BOMB day, which could be more important than any money bomb at this point.
Or if anyone else has them I will post on my site.
MSM Disgusts me
Now that I've been involved with this election and the whole Ron Paul movement and have seen with my own eyes the disinformation campaign waged by MSM -- it makes me wonder what information I've missed out on before that, you know?
I saw it too
it's sick i feel like kicking my tv.
and when Ron wins a whole lot of people are going to jail!!
I hope so!
I hope so!
I know, I can not believe
I know, I can not believe the lies.
