Just when I thought I might do something better with my time Romney backs off--not from McCain--but from us and our dreaded brokered convention. He-whom-must-not-be-named just got another 200 bucks from me and I'm heading to WA to get every fence sitter to the caucus. It's an open vote you know...and you all just wait till Mcnuts gets a load of Oregon.

Does anyone think that Huckabee is still in to continue to draw attention away from Ron Paul?
Imagine just McCain and Ron Paul in the race. It would be hard to ignore his message. That, and I think he'd wipe the floor with McCain, if Huckabee wasn't there to referee.

Don't you think if it was down to Mccain and Ron Paul that the media would still ignore Dr. Paul and just say that Mccain is in the race? They have ignored him for a month already.
Keep in mind, when people think that a nomination is locked up, their inherent laziness will take over and alot of the McCain supporters may stay home in the coming weeks. This may increase the vote percentage for both Paul and Huckabee thereby increasing the likelyhood of a brokered convention.
But then again, who the hell knows. I thought Romney was a stubborn bastard that would have stuck it out to the bitter end just to F over McCain. Huckabee still amazes me. MSM said that ever since he won the Value Voters summit he was a front runner, nevermind the 40 or so straw polls that Paul won that he never got recognition for.
But what gets me the most right now is how MSM says that there are only 2 GOP candidates left. I thought after giuliani fell out there's no way they could ignore Dr. Paul anymore, but here we are. Complete media blackout. Amazing. The only thing I can figure is that the establishment is afraid. Very afraid. We may have bitten off more than we can chew this go around, going after military industrial complex, medical industrial complex, and the federal reserve system all at once, but man, if nothing else he woke up a completely disenfranchised angry group of patriotic, freedom loving Americans.
No matter what, Dr. Paul has my vote, and I'm hoping things swing our way in the rest of the primaries.

I would surely love to see Ron Paul start taing verbal swings directly at McLame. Republicans would admire him for that.
