I opened up my meetup groups calendar and scheduled it straight off of ronpaul2008.com. So I can confirm that it was there...not sure why they took it down though.
I started to think about this. Half those shows taped in NYC have a glass window allowing anyone to put up a sign. Why not have some supporters hit some of those? Or when Letterman has a stunt outside, get some volunteers out there with signs. Talk about national exposure for FREE.
What I'm wondering is why isn't Ron Paul on David Letterman's show? Letterman said he was going to vote for Ron Paul on his show back in 1988. Now Letterman might have changed, but I would think he would consider putting Ron Paul on the show now with more support than back in 1988.
Imagine a couple thousand Ron Paul supporters in the streets outside the studio during taping. Wouldn't you think that Jay Leno and Ron Paul might venture out with the cameras? Can you imagine the impact this would have on the MILLIONS of Americans watching? They get almost 6 million viewers on that show! If half of those are converted to Ron Paul supporters, that's an additional 1% of the American population.
I converted my Dad to Ron Paul by sitting there wathching youtube with him.
We watched funny things that we had seen in the past; you know, a little nostalgia. We watch some classic sports highlights. We watched Giuliani and the corruption clip at the session where he was berating the busdrivers. We watched Romney flip flopping, we watched McCain lying, and we watched Ferd Thompson being very dumb and in the CFR.
Then we watched a little about the CFR, and then we watched some Ron Paul. He was converted.
He said, "They should get him on Jay Leno. That would be the host with the audience to give Ron Paul what he needs to go further." This was in August, so my Dad will be excited to know about this.
It is on Ron Pauls calander on the official website, the jay leno website only has calendar out one week in advance. This will be sweet, lots of people will who don't use internet will have a chance to see Ron Paul and hear his messege, like my parents with dial-up and 3 tv channels but Jay Leno is on local channel so sweet
I've run into numerous Republicans that I consider reasonably "well informed" that haven't even heard of Ron Paul. There is huge dissatisfaction with the "top tier" choices, and the base likes what Ron Paul has to say once they actually hear it. They just have to hear the message and see something tha makes them start believing he has a real chance. Once that happens, I think there will be an avalanche of support.
It is KEY that we inform the people closest to us...our inner circle. Just ask them to check him out. We all know that once someone checks out Ron Paul, they are for him. I have "converted" six of my friends so far.
Make it a goal to ask your top 25 friends to check out Ron Paul, and follow up with them.
Aim for their heart, the mind will follow. We can have our beloved America again.
It's too late to get them by mail, but if you can be in Burbank, CA that day, you may be able to get tickets. At the very least, we need 1000 supporters outside in the street.

In the latest Gallup Poll, Dr. Paul got 5%, his highest total so far. Now he's been invited on Leno, which means Letterman can't be far behind.
