Personal Rant; Mitt Quit

NY Times had two articles this morning analyzing why Romney's campaign failed. They cited his Mormon faith as an obstacle, his strategical mistakes, his past record of flip-flopping. I've read how some praise him for "heroically" dropping out of the race to ensure that a pro-war candidate would get elected to office--i.e., McCain.

Now I'll tell you why he really failed. He didn't have it in him to fight to the end. He quit. Gave up. Forfeited. Threw in the towel. Hoisted down the colors. Waved the white flag. Turn tail and ran. Cried "Uncle". Handed in his resignation. Surrendered. Saw it unprofitable and decided to cut his losses--and abandoned his supporters.

He had more money than any other republican candidate. He had decent support. But he quit, because in the end, he put himself in front of the principles he claimed to believe in. So, when push came to shove, he really did not believe in them, only in himself.

Ron Paul, in contrast, put his principles and his supporters first. He was reluctant to run. He had no personal ambition for personal power or ego to appease. He entered the race not for himself, but because he believes his message of liberty was more important than himself. So he stepped forward into the fray. And after eight of eleven Republican candidates have dropped out, he is still standing.

So no matter what excuses are made for Romney, don't forget. He quit. Thank goodness we found out his true measure before he was elected President.

You know what they say, "Nice Guys Finish.....

well folks, we're not finished, we may be in last place, but not finished. We do need to make a major adjustment real soon. We need to abandon the GOP, citing all the blantant efforts by the Grand Old Party to sweep Ron Paul under the rug. That, my friends, is about Un-American as it gets, in my opinion. Look up Chuck Baldwin's article today. He nails it. Get the hell away from the scumbags in the Republican Party, and mouth it out loud as to why. Ron pretty muched summed it up in yesterday's speech. They're going no where fast! Go third party, or turn out the lights.

He was pressured to avoid brokered convention

He probably got a call from W himself. The GOP does not want a brokered convention. He dove on the sword.
